Tom catches Beth as she stumbles. "Whoa! That's enough for you for tonight I think." He smiles. "I think you should sleep it off."

Isamu looks haggard, worn out and down right tired. He says dejectedly, "I wish I had been able to talk with her as soon as we got back, but there have been so many situations happening. I will be glad to turn things over to Alice now that she has returned." "I hope December returns so I may speak with her, however she was under no compulsion to stay. I will be in the conference room if anyone needs me." Isamu turns and heads to the conference room. He closes the door and then sits down. He opens Deci's statement and begins to read... After which she starts to fill in the paperwork. From her entrance, the attempted rapes..well coercions to produce sexual favours...no what the negator type person did would have been attempted rape. Then the being thrown in basement after some lives were threatened. To the child being HIS son. She is quite thorough. He mutters, "oh December. I am so sorry," as he reads through all of her ordeal. He blames himself for what happened to her, "I drove her away from the team, and it put her in great danger. Both physical and mental." He closes the file. He tries to maintain his stoic front. Staring straight ahead, he stretches his hands across the table on either side of the statement in front of him. The weight of leadership, the stress of what happened with Ashley and now the guilt he feels for December's tribulations crack his demeanor. He covers his face in his hands and begins to sob. |

Save vs. Insanity - [dice=20] - 1
Deci seeing what is going on ducks down immediately with her mouth hung open. "Good for Mom, Dad and....and...What the HECK!" She says silently as she floats down and for a second assumes the fetal position and rocks back and forth until her psyche calms down a bit.
With that she knows she can use her keys to enter, but also knows that it is not the best thing in the world to disturb them. Besides she is an adult now and that comes with adult responsibilities. And adult responsibilities means probably getting her own place to live. And then she takes a moment to contemplate on the betrayal and how everyone under the sun tries to tell her what to do. This is coupled with even a fleeting moment considering the team and Isamu...
"Well can't check on grandmother, can't go home...might as well head back to the base and finish the legal aspects." And with that she flies back to the base, dirty, exhausted and all that.[rand=28178557143742480362634750521344588690170047802959974168395157647]

"Sure. I can do that. First thing in the morning, if she is not already back then I will find out where she is and make sure she does not get into too much trouble."
Long heads back to bed. Hopefully she will be back by morning.

Janie let out a squeal of delight before hugging Alice. " Of course Allie." she released, clearly tickled with the offer. " You going with the full blown wedding or even started thinking about it?"
Beth smiles as she leans into Tom. "You worry about me too much. I'm fine as long as I don't have to drive." She giggled mischeviously. " Then again, we could go back to what we were doing earlier." She said suggestively, oblivious to Siobhan listening.
As Isamu read, he felt a pat on the shoulder. " I probably shouldn't have read it, but couldn't help it." Jason said calmly. " Don't blame yourself. You couldn't have known Deth would go after Deci like that. You did your best to hold things together, and you got her out of there without her wanting you involved and everyone came home in one peace. You did good Is, whether you think so or not." At the other end of the room, Raig and PAnek sat watching television, though both were clearly paying attention to the exchange behind them.
Deci doesn't disturb the trio inside as she slipped away and easily made her way back to the beach house.
Ryne nodded in thanks to Long as he headed off. As he entered the room , he could hear Trevor already snoring in the other bedroom.

Isamu looks up and realizes he had not been alone in the room. "I did my best. The end result... well I suppose that success or failure is decided by the one judging. I do know what could have happened, I also now know what did," he taps the file, "while we definitely had some successes, things have not resulted in complete success either. Allyson is dead, December went through a terrible ordeal, The Negator escaped, we have made no further head way with the mayor, and on top of it all December has once again gone off on her own."
He reaches up and wipes his eyes. "Perhaps I am just tired. I am glad you and Alice have returned. Maybe it is my turn for some time away. I never wanted this and the stress of it all may be wearing on me. Can you find them a room for the night," he asks motioning towards the brothers, "I am going to wait up for a while in case December decides to return. Otherwise, I think it would be best to table any further discussions or conversations until the morning. Please let Alice know I can speak with her then. I do not know if I could cope with a debrief right now."

Perception - [dice=20]
Deci comes in for a landing in back of the house, still reeking of her adventure. As such she scans the beach high and low (But not the house itself) for people that may be there. And if no one she strips her clothes off and goes for a swim.
If there is someone about she will wait until they leave, if they leave and still follow suit.[rand=775530065670918013674322264420447489177697929005567662757540134942]

Siobhan just grins a little at the twos interaction, then offers a wave as Tom carries Beth off. Once out of earshot she sighs a little, then lifts her drink and swallows the rest of it b efore refilling the glass once more, although this time just half as much as the first time.
Another sigh, Sio holds the bottle in one hand, looking down at the lable; with her mind numb she doesn't really take it in, but doesn't quite stare through it; feeling broodiness begining to set in, however, she gives her head a shake, then hiccups sharply once. A giggle at that, the blonde woman sets the b ottle aside and lifts her glass once more, draining it.

From where she sits, Sio didn't know there was anyone else in the lounge until she heard Ryne's deep gravelly voice behind her. " Washing your cares away?" he asked as the big man's massive shadow fell over her. Though he was talking to her, he was watching the beach and a smile crept on his face as he turned his attention back to Siobhan, " Or just celebrating tonight's activities?"
"Well if you need any planning ideas," Janie smiled, "You've got my email and cell number.Where is the big lug anyways? I should congratulate him too. and then I gotta get to bed." She added mid-yawn.
"Might not be a bad idea Isamu. "Jason said, patting him on the shoulder. " Because it won't be long before Alice and I leave again on our honeymoon." He beamed proudly. He looked at the brothers and beckoned them to follow him. " Night Isamu. Go curl up with ashley for the night and get some sleep, you need it too." With that the three headed to the elevator, leaving Isamu alone, with only the noises of the control room to accompany him.
Beth wrapped her arms around Tom's neck, then nuzzled her head in under his chin against his chest. It was very clear that Beth had no tolerance whatsoever for alcohol, but her head was clear enough she knew what she was doing as she opened the door for them and then turned back and repositioned so she could kiss Tom passionately. Metallic form or not, Beth said nothing but made her intentions clear.
The wind was coming up as Deci slipped into the surf and the rain was beginning to fall heavier while the surf roared. It would not be long before the beach was no longer fit to be on, and Deci could feel an undertow trying to pull her away from the shore. In the distance, lightning flashed across the sky to strike the ocean, folloewed several seconds later by a long rolling clap of thunder.

Isamu nods, "that is good news Jason, congratulations." He stays seated at the table. he collects all the statements together. He places them in a file folder and then pulls out a legal pad and begins to write his report of the events that transpired.

Deci is unsure of how to proceed at this point and is half tempted to stay swimming under the water. Would be a good way to test more of my bodies capabilities and being underwater I would not be a ground for the lightning as the salt water would act as a line down. Skipping the actual swimming Deci instead starts to use her flying as a means of propulsion and heads to the shore.
Once on the shore she turns out and just admires the majesty of force behind the storm before heading back towards her clothes.
