Alice chuckles as Trevor shows them the newspaper with William's picture on it. "Leave that to me." She tells Trevor as she takes the newspaper and adds it to the pile of comics she was holding. She then heads over to where Craig has found some team comics, (such as X-Men and Fantastic Four) and asks, "Found something? We should probably be heading back soon."

Sierra is surprised by the fact that she is running amazingly fast once she starts running, heading towards the water at a blinding speed. Once she hits the 100 yards point, she loses the ability to run that fast, and the momentum causes her to trip and fall onto the sandy beach, getting her suit a bit dirty, but it hasn't sustained any damage and stirring up some sand. Coughing she gets up and sees, to her surprise, that she isn’t hurt at all by her fall. When she returns back to the beach house, she sees Jason sitting there with a half-sad smirk. Making his face blank, he says, "Well, it works. And it looks like your range is about 100 yards away from the person whose powers you are copying, is that right?"
Clearing his throat, looking awkward, Jason says quietly, "Go ahead and start your exercises. I'll spot you."

Avi stares at Will for a few seconds "I think I understand what you're saying, but do you really think Alice will agree to do that?" Smirking, he adds "I get that you’re trying this 'tough love' on Jason to whip him into shape, but I seriously doubt Alice will go along with it if she feels like he’s being mistreated."
(Isamu)
A panicked look comes over Ashley's face as she yells, "I mean it! GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!" She closes her eyes as she tries to keep in control. "Please," she says in a pleading tone of voice, "I don't want to hurt either of you. Just go. I'll be ok."

*Sierra pauses once to spit the excess of sand and grit in the mouth, then moves back and thinks before answering Jason. 'never knew i could copy meta's till i came to the city. so i have no idea of what you meant by range .. but i think that when things stopped moving in slow motion and then sped up ... it was about 10 feet actually. so don't sweat the fact your stuck, its not forever is it? you can get healed right? ... oh well, the show must go on, right? time to work'
*proceeds to do a series of exercises .. and sneaks in some of Jason's speed .. and hits the ground hard several times in the series of back-flips. pausing long enough to spit from time to time, Sierra continues to work hard, trying to keep the workout happening with Jason's speed, but the numerous wipe outs don't really help. she finally pauses and comments 'man, am i ever gonna need to practice that. i'm either out of practice, or i'm doing something wrong ... don't know which, but i'll be okay i think if you want to go inside' *then she paces off some sand .. and then turns and proceeds to do a series of cartwheels and forward springs and round-offs .. and then turns to repeat the process focused on doing it and forgetting about everyone else.

" Yes, it's permanent." Jason replied with a forced grin as he watched Sierra practice. " Or at least I think it is. Can't run if you can't walk. Lets 'try something else." He rolled up to the edge of the steps and looked up and down the beach to make sure no one was coming. Satisfied, he chanced a look back to make sure no one was watching from the house. " You should learn all of our abilities. Here, see if you can do this one. See that seagull by the garbage can?" He pointed at the bird about 500m down the beach. In the blink of an eye, a bolt of energy lept from Jason's outstretched fingertips, slamming the empty garbage can and sending it skittering acrossed the beach in pieces, much to the seagull's protests as it took off squawking. Jason smirked, " Now you try to hit what's left of it."

William grinned at Avery. "Well, if Alice doesn't want Jason mistreated, she'ld better make sure he behaves, hadn't she?" He says, heading back up to the warroom.
Upthere, he keys in the band-aidios. "Alice, Trevor, Craig. Check in."

' ... cool .... sorry. that just looks really cool. so you do the swimming in the water stuff? what's it like?' *then as the itches slowly fades a little more she focuses on the spike that Jason had a moment before and tries. a power bolt ships out following the arm and while the first few go wide of the mark, the focused intense look shows she's giving it the 110% she's been raised to do. the bolts, while a copy of Jason's don't have the skill and grace of his, they look just as powerful.
*then one of the bolts hits the lid on the sand and sends it upward. 'got it ... god am i ever pathetic. come on girl .. get on the ball .. ' *she forgets about Jason nearby as her teeth bare and a final shot finally splinter it to mere molten bits that shower into the water below.

While she waits for Craig to finish looking through comics, Alice finds a discrete place in the shop and presses her band-aid comm, "William, it's Alice. What's up?"

Finally realizing Alice was speaking to him, Craig says, "Sorry. I've never been a comic fan, so this is the first time I've ever really looked at them. There's a couple team comics here, but I don't think I could go out in public in spandex. Doesn't demand the respect I think. No matter how good..."
Just then William called over the radio.

Alice replies over the comm, "We're fine. We're at a comic shop picking up some comics as we speak. We should be back shortly." She turns back to Craig, "Sorry about that." To both him and Trevor, she asks "Ready to head back?" Trevor nods, and replies "Yeah."

Jason nods and says "Yeah, you'll need to do some target practice." He smirks, "It took me awhile before my aim got really good too, so don't worry about it. Just keep practicing." Shaking his head, he replies "I can't think of anything right now, but I'm sure William will think of something for you to work on. Maybe working on copying the other's powers is something to start with." He shrugs, "As for having to kill people, well, I don't know. There are some nasty people and metas out there who are going to try to kill you, so you will have to defend yourself. It's up to you whether or not you kill them or just knock them out."

Ashley sighs and snaps "Fine. Be stubborn." Ashley falls silent, as if trying to conserve her energy.
(Will)
Kerry flipped a small button like device at Will. " One tracking device as requested. Janie is finishing up the software right now."
In front of them, a phone labelled secure began to ring. Without hesitation, Kerry answered it. " Hello? Hiya Mr. MacColter. Uh sure, he's right here." He held the phone to Will, " It's for you."

* Sierra's face holds this strange look of 'you gotta be kidding me' .. coupled with 'oh jeez' and then she shakes the head and then lets it drop forward, the tips of her slightly pointed ears show amid the curls, before she looks up with a pained look on the face and states simply 'well its a good thing that i'm used to training for about 12 hours a day then, cause the rest of you are gonna be sitting back and relaxing. why did i get this 'copy other people' ? .. but you know ... i just realized something interesting ... maybe its just hope .. i'll have to wait and see if its real or just hope on my part .... '
*Sierra goes back to the practicing with the force bolts, her face that same mask of intense concentration and effort to do it right on once again. Somewhere in the back of her mind is the simple question of ...o0( i wonder if this copying is making the itch not as strong? its kinda freaky either way. how come i was the only one that survived? )

Thinking that Ashley's "other personality" may be trying to gain control and at last break free, Isamu adds another layer of earth to the encasement surrounding her. (Roll to encase = 16+1 =17 Add 160 SDC to current encasement.)
"I'm sorry Ashley but this is for your own good. I will make sure nothing happens to you."
Turning to Tyler, "There is no way to sedate her, or calm her down when in her animal form?"

" So formal." MacColter replied with a chuckle. " Just checking in. Haven't made head or tails with that disc you gave me. That and I wondered how Jason made out in surgery. Took a few strings to push his operation up ," He admitted.

" It doesn't work that way, Is." Ty explained. " This is as much who she is as her beastial side."
With a roar, Ashley reverted to her bear form again and resumed her struggling which her prison, demanding. " Let me free!"
Ignoring her, Ty asked," Can you carry her in that? If you can, we can take her back to the lodge." His attention shifted to Ashley as she went quiet, her eyes glazed and starting to roll back. He snapped an order at Isamu. " Drop the barrier! Now, before it kills her!" He cursed to himself as he felt her pulse, and began using his healing abities" I should have known she was hurt by the way she responded like a wounded animal. Hang in there Ash."
[sierra]
" Our powers are a crapshoot." Jason answered. " Otherwise we'd all be the same and that would be boring." He smirked. " You don't have to keep plugging at this right now, I just wanted you to try. And trust me, no one will be just sitting around and relaxing while you train."
[Craig/Alice]
" Just grab one of each them." Trevor suggested. " We can tear the ideas apart back at the house and hopefully talk Will out of any ideas of spandex ."
