*retreats to her room, a little worried about the fact that the skin is filling form fitting material of the colthes she was wearing. 'so much for having a shower anytime soon i guess ... i hope this is over soon, i'm beginning to hate my skin more than ever before. i thought Kristien wou... '
*wipes the tear away and then finishes getting dressed after brushing the looser peelings off the body. looking into the mirror 'well Si, looks like the world has eaten me and spat me out. so much for blending in and being accepted . i'm afreak now, time to live up to it'
*she turns to the door and exits the room and settles the keys to the apartment into her pocket and looks away ' .... hol..... i wonder ... ?'

William looks sternly at Jason. "I'll be the one that decides what it means for you to be a batter agent." He says, admonishingly. "In fact, since you're so keen on being self reliant, and independent, maybe you should do this mission without your exosuit. Hmm?" He says, looking at Jason, a predatorial grin forming. "You will improve. Don't you worry about that. And Alice has enough smarts to not let you drag her down with you."
Turning to Janie and her suggestion, william ponders. "No. Well, yes, look into it, passively. Don't fill forms out, or anything that has his name on it. Don't even look up his passport number. Come back with a proposal on potential courses of action, and their risks and benefits. After that, we'll make the decision. Dmitri's been here illegally for some time now, a few days more won't kill him. Before the passport, see what's involved in forging a working Visa."

" Without my suit? What's the point?" Jason asked defensively. " Or do you want me to just sit in the car and wait for them? That'd be great, and then next time we go after Wraith I can crawl after him when he escapes again." He added bitterly, though heading for his room to change.
Once Jason was out of earshot, Trevor suggested," You might want to back off a bit. That's exactly how Ty tried to push him after he got hurt and it drove him away."
Janie nodded at Will's suggestion, but Dimitri interupted. " I don't have a passport number either. I just flew acrossed the border from Mexico after I smuggled myself from Greece on a container ship."
After a few minutes, a knock came at Sierra's door. Avi said, " Found the gloves, I'll hang them here on the door knob." After he walked away, she could overhear Avi and Jason in the hall.
"What's with you?"
" Our fearless leader just decided he wants me to go without my exosuit."
" So? It won't kill you."
Don't start. I'll meet you in the car."
The conversation ended with the slamming of a door.

After a half hour walk that took them in an indirect route, Tyler motioned towards some fresh track. " She's here, or at least was. She's gonna be wilder than you can imagine, so you might want to change now in case she attacks first." He took a deep breath as he edged towards the cave. " She would have smelled us by now, and she's going to feel trapped in there."
A low growl came from deep inside, followed by a gutteral threat. " Go away. I can't be around anyone now."

*exits the room and picks up the gloves from the ground .. and tugs atthe 'uniform a couple of times to ease the stiffer parts of it. then thinks a bit about how to make them 'fit better'.
*moving to the stairs, she starts down and moves towards the garage.

Avi was already waiting in the Caprice. When he saw Sierra fidgeting in the uniform, he laughed," These things weren't designed for comfort I'm afraid. Maybe we can talk Will into letting us get new ones."

William looked at Trevor and says smoothly, "I'm not Tyler. Jason needs to first of all learn that he lives and dies by my whim, not his own attitude. We'll go from there." And he turns and gets himself breakfast, having not eaten, yet.
"Well, then be even more discrete, Jane." William says, ignoring the slamming door.

*Sierra glances up at Avi and a nervous grin pops up on the face. 'yeah .. but its irritating my skin. you know .. ' *as she gets closer and gives the address of the building* 'i had a thought. i was wondering if i practiced with everyone, maybe the itching would stop. never had it happen before, ... guess it is a dumb thought .. sorry'
*then moves to the back seat on the far side. opening the door, stops long enough to start scratching.

Alice slips out of the room quietly and heads to Jason's side of the room they're sharing. She knocks on the door softly and once it's safe to enter, she'll enter the room and say "I just wanted to say 'Good luck' so 'Good luck." Alice pauses anda looks like she isn't sure she wants to ask, but does anyway "What did you mean when you said I was running away from my problems? Doesn't trying to learn how to use my abilities mean that I'm trying to accept them?"

" Not dumb at all." Avi replied as Sierra got in the car. " You'll have to practice your copying ability, so you might as well start now. Maybe my healing abilities will help against your itching. And you might as well get in the front, Jas will want to sit back there with his chair."
The door to Jason room swung open and he pulled a shirt down over his head. " I honestly don't remember what I meant by it. Lying on the floor in spasms tends to end my train of thought." He smirked as he tucked in the shirt. " Maybe I meant that you should face problems head on instead of walking away from them, including my big mouth." He rolled out of his room and pulled the door shut behind him. " I don't know how much of Will's pushing I'm willing to take. I left Control once and swore I'd be a cold day in hell before I returned. " He smirked again," If Will keeps it up, I might remember it doesn't get that cold here in Miami."
" Dies?" Trevor's eyes widened at Will's statement and he followed him into the kitchen. " Isn't that a little extreme? I mean Jas is a good guy, he's just a smart mouth. Or is that the way you feel about all of us, that we're expendible?" His voice dropped off a bit so the others didn't hear him.

William watched the main entrance for a moment while Trevor spoke. "No one is really expendible." He says in a voice loud enough to be heard in the room. "But, I am the only one who decides whether or not people get in harms way. Add to that the fact that I am also the only one who decides what means this group has to survive. Then, yes, everyone here lives and dies by my decisions."
William turns and makes eye contact with Trevor. "I have to make sure Jason is useful, and the harder he resists wanting to improve, that harder I will make it for him to improve." He adds, lound enough for Jason to hear. "Since, if he resists bettering himself, then not letting him do so is well within his goals."
And he takes another spoonfull of his cereal.
"Now, tell me, was Sierra copying your powers when she rammed into the wall?"

'well .. the only example i had of something like that would .. ' *pauses as the gloved hand covers part of the face and then lowers after 5 seconds. 'sorry, i'll try, but i usually have an example to follow before. or .. '
*decides to shut up now before sounding like a really REALLY stupid person and tries to see if Kristien's trick would work, using Avi's power. the eyes close as she recalls what the touch did

Craig sat and watched everything intently. The meeting had been less than he had expected and still he had no real answers or direction. But, he hadn't vocalized any of his concerns. So, is it really Will's fault that Craig was still somewhat unsure of what was happening? No, that would be unfair to make such an assumption.
Craig wondered if he wasn't expecting too much of everyone around him. Hell, hadn't he been doing that his whole life. Always expecting everything from everyone, but never taking the initiative to do things for himself. Wasn't the real reason he turned to crime (which didn't work out) was to take the easy way and avoid doing any real work? It was time for that new life he'd always promised himself.
Taking a deep breath, Craig found Will.
"Excuse me, sir," Craig said more timidly then he'd actually meant to. "Since this team is going to be possibly involved in combat, is there someone that could help me develop the use of my powers? I've never really practiced using them and I think I could really benefit from some good training."
Wow! I sound like a brown-noser! I'm sure Will's going to just love this, he thought sarcastically.

"Oh." Alice replied, looking a little confused. "I thought I was dealing with my problems. Unless you think I should have yelled at you some more last night."
Alice feels a bit uneasy when Jason hints at how he might leave depending on how things go. She wonders what she would do if he did that - if she would go with him or stay here with the others. Feeling awkward, she says "Well, I won't keep you. The others are probably waiting."

" Yeah. " Jason replied, giving Alice a peculiar look. " I'll see you when we get back. Maybe I'll give you more reasons to yell at me then." He grinned and pulled her close enough to give a kiss on the cheek before rolling into the elevator.

Trevor nodded. " Somehow she duplicated my fire abilities and flew into a wall. but there's no way I could have shook off a faceplant like that." He took in the rest of Will's statement as Craig posed his request.

" It's easy enough. " Avi told Sierra. " Just think about healing yourself and let it do it's thing."
He tapped on the steering wheel, looking out the backwindow. " Where is that blasted Dex... about time." He said as Jason rolled out the out door. he swung the car door open and got in, pulling his chair in behind him. " Yeah, yeah. Let's go." He sputtered.
Once she figures out how to use them, Sierra can feel that Avi's healing power is much more powerful than Kristian's.

Alice looks at Jason with a confused look, wondering why he'd given her such a strange look. She had to admit she was tempted to read his surface thoughts to find out, but decided not to in the end, not wanting to make this a habit. She heads back into the kitchen and makes herself some toast and spreads some jam on it and munches it on it quietly as Trevor talk to Will.
