Without looking back, she added," Knowing a fight is coming up, the little guys get a little hungrier than usual. So you never really said before, do my symbiotes creep you out? You won't hurt my feelings is they do, you wouldn't be the first guy."

He considers her question about her bugs. "They can knock you off guard at first, but they are very intriguing. Bear in mind I have been studying chemistry and was working towards being a scientist."

Ashley replied, closing the cupboard with a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter in her hands." He pauses and looks at him for a moment. " That's a new one. Anyone that's seen them usually either gets grossed out or pretends not to see them." She proceeds to make herself three pb sandwiches. Licking off the knife, she held out her other arm and turned it over. One of the symbiotes scurried along under the skin along her tricep. " Only a science geek would be interested in that."

Alice blushes a little at Tyler's question. "I'm not sure," she replies, "we haven't really talked about that." Alice shrugs "Then again, we've only known each other for a few days now." Alice smiles shyly as she adds "I like him a lot," Alice grins "though we seem to argue a lot."

William turns to Dmitri. "You are to stay a few hundred feet away from me at all times. Keep eyecontact but do not approach me until you bring the others. If I get taken, return to base and consult with Tyler and Ashley. Understood?" He leaves his pistol and ammo on the next building then flies off.
With that, he lands on the roof behind the guards and then... raises a wall of silver fire around the whole structure before going in and wreaking merry hell on the place in fire form

If I walked into a clinic and raised my shirt, they'd be on the phone to the cops screaming mutie so quick that I wouldn't get to the front door before they had the place surrounded." Ashley replied sarcastically. " And a scientist would be worse. I've heard of our kind disappearing so they can be dissected and studied. No thanks, I'll stick to Ty's healing powers for my health care plan."
Tyler smiled warmly. " He has that affect on people, apparently it's a trait from our father. I just had to ask because, well, things have been tough for him the past couple years and whatever he did for Control has changed him. I've never been good at this big brother thing, but I worry about him. He's a loose cannon and sometimes I think he's got a deathwish. I was just thinking that if he's got someone to care about again, he might come around a bit, you know what I mean?" He looked to be about to say more, but Jason appeared and he held his tongue.
" What are you two gossiping about that you have to clam up so I don't hear?" Jason asked as he approached, still fidgeting with his suit's sleeves.
" nothing important. Just telling stories about her grandfather." tyler answered quickly.
" Uh huh." Jason answered suspiciously.
" Yes." Was Dimitri's only reply as Will took flight. chaos erupted from inside as the flames appeared. One of the guards took a potshot at Will with his MP-5, striking above the door as he entered.
Inside, more panicked shouts filled the air as suited guards scrambled to defend their lab coated workers. will quickly realized the layout was wrong for what Tyler had told him to expect. It wasn't a meth lab at all, the set up was all wrong especially the disguised A/C units on the roof that drove the temperature down to near freezing.
One of the guards stepped around a storage rack and pointed his sub machine gun at Will, a terrified look in his eyes. " Don't move before you blow this whole place up."

William does a spinning-flying-hover-fake-and-tackle move, yanking the gun ouy of the poor man's hand and throwing to the ground a dozen feet away. "Why do you fools believe a gun will make a difference?" He asks, getting closer. "You'ld better tell me why I'm wasting my time, boy." He growls, trying to sound malicious and annoyed. "Or I'll make sure you blow up with this place."

Looking at Will in disbeleif, the goon started to backpedal with his hands out in front of him. " You don't understand. Don Nilo will kill us all."
At the same time behind Will, he heard Dimitri's voice. " I know I am breaking your rules, but we have a problem." A reflection let Will see Dimtri had transformed and that he was pointing towards a large storage tank. It was marked liquid nitrogen and had began venting from the heat caused by Will's fire.
The guard noticed the distraction and began to dig frantically inside his coat at his shoulder holster.

Alice nods quietly at Tyler, her expression serious. When Jason comes into the room, Alice smiles warmly at him as she teases "We're not always talking about you, you know. There are other things in the world to talk about."

William glances over at the tank, then back to the guard. "You should run, impotent fool." He growl-yells, shooting the floor in front of him with a flame burst. "Run!"

"You do have a point. I haven't had to face much persecution where I am from, here it has been some, but I ignore it. I have a question. If someone found a way to remove them from you, would you allow them to? I mean a way to remove them without hurting you."

The guard looked in the direction of the tank and began backpedalling, tripping in the process. " Too late, W..." Dimitri caught himself from using Will's name. " The tank is beginning to purge."
Jason got an embarrased look on his face and shrugged. " Sorry, guess I'm getting paranoid. Having 99% of the world hate you for being born a meta does that to you."
Ashley stopped and stared at Isamu. " To be honest, I don't know. I've never thought about it, well except when I first changed, but that was because I didn't know what was happening to me. Now, I'm used to them so I don't think I could live without them. They're part of me."

"Then we go." William says, flaming out of the building, hoping Dmitri is following. Halfway out, he stops. "You go on." He says. "There's something about this." And he looks for a large room with tubes and frozen people.

Dimitri scooped up the fallen mafioso and flew out past Will. The tank begins to squeal in protest of the building pressure as someone behind shouted frantically. " Get out! The fire fried the releif valve! It's gonna blow!"
His quick search turned up no tubes of frozen people, but he did find a small cooler stuffed with tubs of a green powdery substance. Through the window, he catches a glimpse of a familiar face out a window. Doc Reno is ushered into a waiting car that speeds away.
