Feeling more than a little confident right now, Kitty looks to Logan and the Avengers. "What say I go take a peek around? Think this place has a basement?" she suggests, phasing out once more and letting herself slide to her calves down into the floor.

DD shrugged, "had I been expecting to be picked up and carried maybe it wouldn't have thrown me off enough to let you have all the fun. Don't worry, it wont happen again," he says wringing his hands trying not to let the embarrassment from hesitating show.

Spider-Man leaps after the robots, landing on the 3rd robot's shoulders. He uses his powers of adhesion and his spider-proportionate strength to try and tear the head off of the robot (Strike: [dice=20+10] Damage: [dice=4+30]). Once he does, he leaps off it its body and lands in front of the other four robots and looks to see who has the piece.
Replying to Songbird, he yells “A little help would be nice!”

[Spiderman and Aura]
As spidey worked to stop the robots by decapitating one , a wall of pink energy appeared between him and the device the robots were constructing. the wall slowly grew to envelope the robots and Spiderman like a pen. "That better? You are a fan of cage matches, right?" Songbird asked, approaching the outside of the wall she had formed. "Aura, can you check out what ever they were building, and take it apart?" she stopped at Captain america's call, "Maybe you should answer that first."
As Aura opened the crate, she found another smaller crtae inside, but it had a crank handle on the side of it and the box was painted up in colorful patterns.
[DD, Wolvie and Kitty]
While wolverine called in to Cap, Spitfire smirked at DD's reply. "No big deal, besides, I can tell you have you mind somewhere's else. I saw that look on your face before we left when your teammate's name was mentioned. You have feelings for this Ghostsabre, don't you?" the way Spitfire chuckled, she clearly did not realize Kitty's relationship.

X-23 heard the others approaching before they came around the corner. Scarlet Witch and Demolition Man both looked none the worse for wear. "these certainly aren't the sort of defenses Arcade normally uses, but I think we know where to find him. MurderWorld is on the riverbed, it's the only explanation for the way things are laid out and the treads going into the river on the river bed."witch explained
Demolition Man looked at Cap's wounds," Someone finally slowing down in his old age?"
"Watch it,"Witch warned, pointing at the claw marks on the downed robot,"looks like she's as quick with her claws as her father, so you better hope she doesn't have his temperment too.

Kitty hesitates a moment, then replies to Spitfire, "It's complex.. and would take way too long to explain." the young heroine explains. Th en, without waiting for further response, slides down through the floor, hoping to find a basement or other such hidden compartment.

Tally not sure what the think in front of her is, having never had one and holds it for a moment before almost curiously starts to turn the crank.

DD again hesitates, this time for different reasons. He tilts his head in Kitty's direction totally confused by her statement as although blind he was fairly sure Spitfire was talking to him. Of course no one really knows DD is a blind lawyer from Hell's Kitchen. Especially since his mask covered half his face.
He responds to Spitfire, "I uh... Well, I was there when Spot grabbed her. I would be concerned for anyone in this situation, but because I couldn't stop it from happening, I feel extra responsible," he says obviously dodging the question.

Kitty finds no basement to sink into.
Spitfire listened to both answers curiosly, a bit confused. " Daredevil, the way your jaw clenched up, there's something else, but I'll let it drop because Kitty seems to have feelings on the subject too." She looked at Wolverine," I suppose you do too, Logan?" she chuckled.
Demolition Man grabbed the handle and gave the door a sling. Inside, the foursome could see scattered robot parts and Spiderman and Songbird dealing with more robots while Aura was turning the crank on an over sided jack-in-the-box

As Aura turned the handle, the box played music until it made a loud click. The top tried to pop open, but the top of the crate held it only a couple inches from top. Something was trying to get out, but Tally couldn't tell what it was.

A little dissapointed, Kitty 'walks' her way up out of the ground, then re-solidifies once free of its grasp. "Nothing down there so far as I can see." she reports to the others, having missed Spitfires co mments. "Lets say we link up with the others, make sure everything is ok.."

DD is glad Spitfire is letting things drop. He knew his feelings, but until he had Tabby in front of him and he could reveal them to her, talking to anyone else about them felt wrong.
"She's right, we should link up with the others, or keep moving. We won't find anyone just standing here talking," DD says.
