Chapter 67: The scrapyard (Team)

[ Sierra can tell Deci is moving, but that's about it]

the room inside looked like a classroom, with desks and tables pulled together while people bolted out the other door towards a corridor. It was clear the word had spread to other rooms and the corridor was filling up.

"what the hell is going on?" shouted a voicefrom somewhere's in the crowd. A gang member squeezed passed th fleeing addicts to the corridor doorway, and suddenly froze," Who the hell are you?" The submachine gun hanging around his neck coming up to a firing position

[Dome]

Isamu steps to forward to the front of the group and turns to stone as he does so, "we are federal agents and you are under arrest. Surrender peacefully."

Tom pulls the gun towards him. "House inspection. We need to bring the place up to code."

Long takes a running power leap to land on top of the car Rusty is in.

(Not sure how far away the car is, but Long can get a distance of 20.4 feet. )

'she's alive. she's moving. too much interference from the others in the building. sorry'

*she can't give better information than that for now, but she is doing what she can to assist. her eyes seek other forms of trouble. eyes picking out the Meta's from the flatscanners. she'll relay the information on the brethren she's picked up

With the gun slinger disarmed thanks to Tom Isamu says, "Sierra, can you lead me to her?"

' . . sure . . wait. aren't we here to arrest Brethren . . prove Trevor's innocence and to get the brother? . . oh yeah, he might not be here . . sorry. being dumb again'

*that said she will attempt to track down Deci's location to the best of her ability using her powers like a sonar/radar thing

"We are here for all of that, and we will accomplish all of that. Tom will take the others and sweep the building you and I will look for December. If she is here she may be in trouble," he says matter of factly.

*gives him an odd look then nods. her voice goes half flat as she responds with a 'yessir'. *her attention is already focused on tracking down where Deci is located. she may backtrack a few times as she narrows down the true location. she doesn't like splitting off from the others, but doesn't say anything, but follows orders

As Sierra focused on Deci, she could tell their former teammate wasn't alone, another meta was in close proximity, one she had felt the abilities before, but couldn't name. Definitely a Brethren though.

The unarmed gunman looked in dismay as Tom took his weapon away, then with Isamu's announcement, he was running with the junkies to escape. The crowd however was parting around someone coming their way.


Outside, Long managed to land on Rusty's car, but she only stopped because Panek had stepped in her way. " You boys really want this fight?" she snarled as she got out

"Tinman is batting clean-up. Roger that." Tom strides up to see what's coming his way, speaking over Bandadio. "This is Tinman - I think I've got a batter coming up to the plate - any ideas who it might be?"

Sio had been hanging back a bit, taking in what was going on; chaos seemed to be in charge here, so to speak. "Boss, if you need anyone specific run down let me know.." she growls, itching to get involved. "I assume the norms are just small fish?"

"I think both of us have been waiting for a rematch."
Shouting over to Trevor, "Hey Trevor! What are you waiting for? We have got some fresh pickings over here. Want to join in?"
Long jumps off the car and picks it up and swings it to hit Rusty.

*its clear she's not thrilled with that bit of info, but she is a team player. a slightly unhappy one, because of where they are, but a team player none the less

[Outside]

Caught completely off guard, Rusty was still in the midst of bring up her Bio-Armor when Long hit her, sending her flying. She was getting to her feet when Trevor's fireball form swooped over head. blasting her with a ball of flame. " Sure Long, I'll come out and play."

Rusty let out a screeching sound before getting to her feet," I should have finished the pair of you out in the swamp." she picked up a pair of garbage can lids, hurling them like frisbees at each of them.

Around the other side of the building, it was clear Panek had found a fight he was looking for too.

As they moved further into the building, Sierra's meta sensing started to overload. There were too many here for her to distinguish, other than the team members and Deci somewheres inside and down a floor or two, in the basement.

Avi replied to Siobhan. " Small fish or not, if they are aggresive, we take them down. Just don't use excessive force."
