Alice nods at Jane and gives her a quick hug. "That's fine. We'll get together again soon" Alice gets her order to go as well and waits for the waitress to bring them their orders in containers.

Ashley did as Will directed and pulled around the corner and waited until Dimitri and Jane had left. " So what did he say anyways?"
Jane returned the hug as Dimitri returned with their order. " nice to see you again." He said and the pair left. Jane shouted back. " I'll call you."
Once they couple were out of sight, Ashley swung around the block and parked near the door and waited for alice.
" They'll get over it." Dexy replied, kicking a rock off the path. They arrived at the quarry shortly after. " Alright, so there's a rockpile out here. Tell me that isn't why you got me out here. I"ve seen a lifetime of rocks back home. that's why I left." she grumbled.

Alice says "It was nice to see you again" to Dmitri and "I'll talk to you soon then" to Jane. She waves to both of them as they leave. Once they are out of sight, she leaves the restaurant, and after spotting the truck, climbs into the back with her container and munches on french fries quietly.

'sorry .. just figured that privacy for whatever talking was needed more than talking about it in public .. cause no one else would know or understand .. at least i think so .. *sighs and kicks a rock .. 'besides .. the old guy said to teach me how to control my powers .. saying that it .. was needed .. fast .. fro some reason '
*then rubbing the hands on both sides of the head 'Dexy? .. why can't i remember? .. would it have been drugs or just a way to survive? .. and once in a while, i get these headaches .. one's starting now .. and .. i get real scared when it happens .. caue .. all i hear is the whispers and her voice at times .. but its in some strange language .. what do i do?' *looking in pain as the head moves in jerks tilting to the left.

I don't know, maybe it's because they messed with you first. I only have a block of about three months before I woke up looking like bad horror movie reject." Dexy replied, taking a seat on one of the larger rocks. " I've heard the whispers too, they're in french. Some kind of sick attempt to comfort me as they played god with me. don't have the headaches though. Maybe if you cut loose with your powers instaed of holding them in will help. I'll be right here if you need me."
Ashley glanced at Alice in the mirror. " sorry about that, but gramps thought your friend was about to call your bluff." she glanced over at Will. " Next stop, the swamp, unless anyone wants a sidetrip?"

Alice shakes her head "It's ok. Jane accused me of really knowing William and lying about it. I was trying to think of something to say when you came in. So thank you for that."
Alice sighs. "I guess it's not safe to go by my apartment, is it? Otherwise I'd ask you to drop me off there."

"No. I'm worried it won't be safe for Dmitri and Jane either." William says, looking around like a fugitive, for cop cars, etc. "But, there is ver little we can do to keep them out of harm, and Dmitri's probably the best lead to the top of the pyramid. Any thoughts?"

Alice tries to answer, but finds she can't think of anything to say. Shrugging her shoulders, she looks uncomfortable as she finally says "I don't know. What's the best way to say 'So, it turns out I have healing powers. How do I know that? Oh, well when I got shot my body healed itself. Oh, and did I mention I am apparantly telepathic now?'" Alice closes the container, her appetite ruined and crosses her arms under her chest, staring out the window.

William turns and looks at Alice, about the say something and decides she's not in the mood. Instead, he focuses on watching for followers, not letting his mind drift to the possibility of what happened in the war with her grandmother. Keeping the though from his mind, until he's ready to say something.

"Huh?" William grunts, and thinks curses. "A lot of things happened to her in the war. Happened to a lot of people." He stalls. "I feel that his is something that needs privacy to discuss." The tone in his voice indicates that he might not be kidding.

*looks up from the look she's been giving the ground there, but asks to be sure 'you wont panic and leave me behind? .. i don't have many i can trust .. but i dont wanna ... ' *then the voice gurgles again as the electrical flickers start again .. and instead of staying at the 6 inch range they were before, a gut wrenching scream is heard as Maria's body arches to a stand as her body erupts into a 14 foot range of electrical surges and crackles .... the electrical field continues after the scream stops and the body drops to the ground, to bounce about as if in a siezure, then even that fades to the occasional flicker over the body.
*Dexy, startled by the scream and the sudden explosion of energy and taken off-guard, leaps backwards out of the way and stares at the huge bubble of electrical energy about the younger girl, wincing at the scream .. a faint memory of similar screams from long ago. then as the body drops, Dexy moves closer and quietly speaks so that only Maria would here
