*withdraws some sizzling marbles and hisses while the other hand exposes the claws 'back off chuckles .. this one saved me from Troll .. and i know where ta find him .. i THOUGHT it was safe to bring him here .. now back off or i bring the place down about your head .. *voice dead serious ..

" Dammit, kid." tyler called from beyond the door he'd dove through to avoid the blast, snarling as some of the shrapnel hit him. " you're as bad as Felicia. " An alarm buzzes lowly as he steps thru the doorway limping slightly. " I've locked the place down, now lets talk sensibly."

Ashley snarled again, starting to show more signs of changing. " What the hell does that..." she was cut off by an alarm sounding, " We've got trouble downstairs." She announced as she reverted to normal.

Having been let in by Ashley, William appears behind Sparks. "Now, what in the world is going on?" He says in a very smooth, even, but firm voice. "Welcome back Maria, why are you shooting at people?"
At that point, he turns and looks at Michael. "And, who is this?"

Ashley, seeing an opportunity, cuffed Will from behind, trying to lighten things up. " There, I hit you, now cool your jets before you set this place ablaze and I lose my temper."
She turned Ashley and Michael, with a slight grin. " You trusted me before to help you out of trouble. Nothing's changed, except Trevor got trounced trying to keep an eye on you before." she quickly added " But he's gonna be okay thanks to Tyler. Now calm down, and tell us about Troll and why you've brought a member of the Brethren into our home."
She stopped, giving Michael a quizzical look after a moment before correcting herself. " Sorry, former member. How the hell did you do that?"
Tyler glanced between the two, but said nothing as he folded his arms.

William's head didn't move at all from the hit. "Sure. But you needed to cheat." He says as he looks at Michael closely. "Well, it's been a while since I've seen one, but I daresay you're a telepath."
He looks between Tyler and Maria, before lifting the slingshot out of her arm himself.
"Now, Ashley's right. A calm clear explanation about all of this would be nice and helpful."

*the frown still in place .. watches as william unlaces the slingshot and then drops her arm ... 'oh man .. i forgot to charge the marble .. *then shakes her head sadly at herself*

William hands back the slingshot to Maria. "Sure, don't trust the foreigner." He says, watching Michael calculatively. "Though, I take it the 'they' include those charming young men that nearly killed Trevor today."
William finds the nearest chair and half slumps into it motioning the others to as well. "I take it these Brethren have been a problem for a while now. Do they all live in the subways?"

'dunno .. told the voice at the time to not worry about him .. mainly cause i spotted him and was leavin anyways. i wore out my welcome it seems, when i left ashley alone .. not that it matters .. i thought .. well i got told to get the others .. but i guess they got a plant in the group that knew where to find both groups.
'thats what i would suggest. look to yourselves before biting off a persons assistance, cause it really makes that person wonder if you really are needed or not .. thats why i left. freakshow can stay away from me and keep her comments to herself .. cause i anit interested in helping .. other than that .. i'll tell kodiak about troll .. *then looks at ashley, and relays all the information she's gathered and knows*

No, they have several hideouts around the city. Michael answered Will's question.
Ashley listened to Sparks before answering. " You never would have worn out your welcome. Never would have guessed Troll was a priest." She scratched her head. " That'll make him easier to take care of, unless he moves." She changes the subject. " The pair of you are welcome to stay, or like before, you can leave if you want, we won't stop you."

Seeing that Ashley has everything in hand, William takes Tyler into the conference room. "This is a private conversation. Please do not intrude." He says to the other three still there as he closes the door.
After Tyler sits, William looks at him. "You should relax. You know, doors closing, windows opening. That kind of thing. Even if Michael's a spy, it can be used to our advantage. Now that Ashley's coming to grips with the kind of problems Maria's having, it'll be easier for her to be ready the next time there's an attack. And, if they bring the Brethren here, more's there pity for dealing with us." William grins easily at the thought of an all-out mutant war on the streets of Miami.
William sits opposite Tyler. "Now, to business. Can the meeting be arranged?"
