Viper attempted to leap upward to avoid the leg sweep [dice=20+6], only to mistime and end up on her back. Her boot swung around, intended for Cap's head [dice=20+5]. It was the last thing Venom saw as his "spidey" senses went haywire and everything blacked out (failed roll vs. Bio-manipulation:Blind) and he realized his mistake, letting Lady Mandarin have a chance to use her psychic powers. Cap could see Lady M was circling and Venom was reacting as if he didn't see her.

As Vision bowls for Hydra, thre more charge and attempt to tackle him [dice=20][dice=20][dice=20]. Vision could see several more closing in attempting to do the same, with intentions to subdue him. He could also see several attempting to do the same to Thor, with little success, until a cloud of pinkish gas escaping the building passed over him, and suddenly the Hydra agents piled on top, trapping his teammate beneath them.

Overhead, Aura strafed the crowd, striking two of them, while both she and Songbird could see events unfolding below. The Hydra seemed to ignore the cloud coming from the building and pressed the attack. " Thor's in trouble! Get to Vision, see if he can figure out what that cloud is and stay out of it! I'll see what I can..." She was cut off as she was caught from behind by some sort of net gun used by one of the Hydras and caused her to crash to the ground.

Tabatha and X-23 entered into the stadium to see Daredevil and Spiderman with a bunch of fallen Hydras and a tanker truck belching a cloud of pink gas. " What the hell?"

DD could smell a strange odor, but nothing other than that seemed to happen before Spidey grabbed him and web swinged them into the clear to land near X-23 and Ghostsabre. As they did, both X-23s and DD's enhanced hearing told them that there were two other fights going on. One outside the building, and a smaller skirish up in the skyboxes.[rand=2367360078230411359417023058571151122493040035389480072049214618]

Vision curls up into a ball/fetal position, then straightens up explosively, tossing those Hydra agents who were stupid enough to tackle him all over the place.

Lady Mandarin brought her sword up in time to parry the incoming shield [dice=20+12], knocking it aside with ease. " You have to do better than that, Avenger. You'll be fun to deal with once I'm rid of this pest, if Viper leaves me anything." As she said it, Venom's spidey sense warned him of danger while Lady M stabbed at him with her sword [dice=20+8] (Venom, -10 to combat for blindness). At the same time, Viper snapped an elbow meant for Cap's breastbone [dice=20+6]


Tabitha nodded to X-23. " We'l go join the mosh pit outside, You two enjoy your private party" He took off at a run for an emergency exit. Spidey grabbed DD and shot a line for the roof and swung them to land just outside the sky boxes, where a young woman seemed to be waiting for them. She lashed out before Spidey could react, catching him under the chin with a kick and forcing him to make DD stumble out of his arms before they had even touched down.

Outside, Ghostsabre skidded to a halt and immediately became steel skinned. Before them was a horde of Hydra agents, their friends somewheres beyond it. " Looks like the odds are in our favor," she kidded

Vision burst from beneath the Hydra on top of him, and before more could take their place, he caught a glimpse of Ghostsabre and X-23 exit the building. This time as the Hydra closed on Vision, instead of just trying to subdue him, one stabbed forward with a knife [dice=20]

At the tingle of danger sense, Flash instinctively dodges backwards.

Vision nods his thanks to the clawed woman, then he increases his density and steps among the Hydra hordes. He presents such an easy target that he is certain that they will be unable to resist, and therefore be distraced from any attacks of his fellow Avengers.

Nevertheless, he fires infrared eyebeams at the eyes of the Hydra troopers, in order to temporarily blind them.

(OOC: I'm not rolling for that unless I really have to, because these are all supposed to be diversionary tactics to distract the bad guys from the other Avengers.)

DD hears the gas escaping from the truck although he cannot determine the extent yet. "Whatever was in that truck, is getting out we have to stop it," he says to Spidey.

Cap takes the hit, distracted by recapturing his sheild. He retaliates by pulling on the whip, dragging Viper to him to land a roundhouse punch to her jaw.

Viper tried duck out of the way of Cap's blow [dice=20+6], just barely getting out of the way before spin kicking for hi sface [dice=20+6]

Meanwhile, Wolvie could see the newcomer Venom was in trouble with the sword weilding Lady Mandarin, and now knew that it was Psylocke he had smelled, but Lady M with the same perfume.

Lady Mandarin said nothing in response to Venom's remarks, but his 'spidey' sense tingling told him she was close. His symbiotes told him spiderman was nearby, and then something passed between Venom and Spidey, and the tingling went into overdrive. [dice=20+12]

His attention focused on the truck, Daredevil left himself open to the incoming heel kick from Temptation [dice=20+5] " You shouldn't ignore a lady, Hero." she sneered.

Outside, Vision easily blinded his knife weilding opponent, but he could see his teammates were in trouble. Whatever had happened to Thor, the Hydra agents had easily overpowered him, and Songbird was downed by a net gun and he hadn't seen sign of her yet. Still, the Hydra agents pressed on, though their numbers were starting to deplete

X-23 slashed the Hydra agent , wounding him enough that he fell back. Two more took his place, these ones brandishing blades [dice=20] [dice=20][rand=29298748614139636318960376056747145672999685681154766991386683645]
