"Great. Any idea who she is or why she wants to raid your desk? Did you forget to pay into your office playoff pool?" Tom keeps an eye out on the woman, and positions himself between the thief and Beth.

'yeah, you are. but that's the result to the choices you made. don't make it harder on yourself by being mouthy to them. i'm sure they'ld love to smack that street talk attitude outta you. they could get away with it . . ready?'
*Si puts her hand gently on the girl's shoulder and gives it a comforting pat. 'try to keep your nose clean kid. it's probably no where near as bad as you think it will be. lets go, k?' *light pushing in the direction of hte front door now, to Mac and the waiting agents. she gives Kristian a small grin to let him know she's okay and to not worry too much

Deci seeing her father, goes to drop everything and run towards him her arms out stretched as she runs into him for a hug. "Daddy. Is Grandmother all right? What happened?" She asks with the slight panic in her voice, but remembering to make sure that her powers stay in check and do not fall to freezing the area, especially in this the ICU.

Feeling more than a little nervous, Siobhan eases out of the odd hover-vehicle and takes a moment to survey the rather large home before her; seeing MacColter already at the front door, she moves ahead casually to join him, eyeing the other two at the door with barely-concealed curiosity.
When she arrives, a nod is offered to them, along with what she hopes is a friendly smile, not a nervous one, then looks to MacColter, hoping he'll offer introductions.
(My sincerest apologizes, I was somewhat confused by a few things, and had not realized that I was being waited on to post! It won't happen again, I hope!)

Beth looked at the thief," I think she was in the mail room, but she was new."
The thief groaned again, " You brokked muh noze." The woman said as her hands came up to her face slowly.
* * * * *
(Deci)
"She'll be okay." Daddy replied, returning the hug. " Mom had a heart attack when the thugs that broke in scared her. they didn't take much, but I'm afraid you lost your piggy bank. The police are looking into things now."
There was an awkward moment as he noticed Deci's mom behind her.
* * * * *
"Senator Talbot spoke as they got out of the car," This is quite a locale, Dylin."
Mac nodded as he shook the senator's hand. " Welcome to Miami, sir. This is one of my team memeber, Sierra. sierra, meet Senator Talbot, our benefactor. And this is Patriot, leader of the original Sentinels team and..., " he paused, looking at Siobhan," you must be Siobhan?"
The Senator held out his hand to shake Sierra's, " A pleasure, young lady."

Deci shows much relief at the news that her Grandmother will be all right. Even though as much as she is vexed by her, she is Family...and that is the most important thing in the world to her. Or at least one of them anyway.
She also forgot why her mother came down in the first place with the divorce all worked out. Well that is what she was told, not the when or where so this indeed was a surprise. But would explain why her Mom said she was expecting her Father to pick her up which also means this was going to be surprise for her. Which makes her smile...as that if true or not is what she is letting herself believe.
As such she slips away from the two of them to go check on her Grandmother.

(( Re-read the last 3 pages again, and am feeling much less confused. Whew! ))
Siobhan continues to watch the two at the door, then offers MacColter a quick nod before offering him her hand. "That is correct, sir. Siobhan Tsuchiyama." the girl adds, not looking at all oriental despite her last name. Then, turning to Sierra she smiles once more, then offers her hand. "Sierra? It is nice to meet you... I hope we'll get along." she adds, knowing she (herself) can occasionally be difficult.
Looking to Sierra and MacColter both, Siobhan lets her nervousness show through a little. "I'm just here to help out and contribute however I can.. I'm kinda new to.. all of this."

'oh . . pleased to meet you sir . . and you too sir' *she wipes her hand on her jeans first before shaking the senator's hand. the handshake is a little weak and tentative, as if a little frightened.
*she gives the girl a slight push to the 2 suits that are waiting for the keys to the vehicles they used before. 'gave her a meal to go'
'hi . . pleased to meet you too Siobhan. can i call you Sio isn'tead? . . i'm not great with names' *that handshake is like the one prior, limp and tentative. 'you're probably better at this kinda stuff than i am, but i can always use pointers.
*if the senator or Siobhan look down, they will notice the 'cool' dry hand is snake scales

(Siobhan is a fairly uncommon name, and its using the gaelic spelling.. its pronounced Shah-vahn, so the "Sio" would be Shah ^_^)
Siobhan accepts the handshake, her head tilting a little at the softness of it.. her own is fairly strong, not from BEING strong, but from her attitude of never showing weakness. "Ahh, sure, that would be fine Sierra. Most people do, eventually."
Siobhan does indeed glance down, but remains quiet, not sure if the scales are a point of embarrassment or not.

'cool . . ' *her eyes follow Siobhan's gaze. 'i'm strong . . . i i'm extra cautious when meeting new people. your voice sounds odd. where are you from?'
*she suddenly recalls her manners 'oh . . uhh . . would you like to come in sirs? . . i can make up a pot of coffee or tea. make you a roast beef sandwich or just cookies and i got a lemon loaf thawed and ready for slicing . . please, come in'

Siobhan nods to the explanation Sierra gives, then offers a smile. "Oh, I'm a native, though I was originally born a little further north.. lived most of my life here in Miami though." the girl adds, winking. "Mind you, I was raised by a Japanese father and have Welsh grandparents on my mums side... I've been told my accent is a lil' strange."
As Sierra invites them in (she's not a sir, but assumes that the invite applies to her as well), the blonde slips in after MacColter, the Senator and Patriot. Somewhat awestruck, she stops just inside and gazes around wide-eyed...

Dylin smiled," The Senator and Patriot have some things to discuss Sierra."
The younger man smiled," Prehaps later." The Senator gave Patriot a bit of an odd look before the three men went up the stairs towards the war room.
kristian was cleaning up the counter when he noticed Sierra with Siobhan, " Si, making new friends without me?"

As Deci slipped away, she found her grandmother connected to several monitors resting comfortably. A nurse came in after a moment to check the readings, and spoke to Deci in a hushed voice," She's going to be fine, but she needs her rest. Please don't wake her."
* * * * *
The thief held her face, with blood and tears streaming, but she said nothing and merely nodded.
Beth looked at the woman, then back to Tom," Did you see anything in those pictures that was worth turning my life upside down? "

Deci gives a smile at that revelation and gives a nod to the nurse in agreement. Hearing that alleviates all of her pent up stress, sadness and anger. She even lets out a silent but audible sigh no where near on the level that her sleeping Grandmother would here.
Satisfied she turns and heads out of the room into the main area to see if her mother and father are around or not. If they are or not she will not disturb and go sit on a chair nearby.
