Balus described what had happened since he and Krystal had made planetfall. As he wrapped up, he added," Sir, I beleive both of us are fit for duty. What can we do to help?"

Fegh motions for the soldiers to hold their position, then he steps forward with his hands folded in front of him. "I am Lieutenant Upho Fegh. Who are you?"

The Captain looks at you. "Lt. Fegh is overseeing a hostage situation. The Young lady's forcefield abilities might provide a last ditch solution, if she's up to it?"
The man yells, spittle spraying out. "Who am I? I'm a Pure Seeronian! Here to help put an end to this madness the Tarlok have put upon us! You should help me!"

"So you intend on putting an end to other pure Seeronian's," he says motioning to the hostages being sure to avoid the one bio-freak in his gesture, "to put an end to what the Tarloks have done to us? What exactly do you propose?"

Krystal tries and makes a forcefield as if testing to see if she has powers left to spare. She starts by trying to make a simple bubble. If she can, she will nod her head to balus in a ready to go manner.

Krystal, you are able to make a small bubble, but only with a limited amount of protection, and you find yourself struggling to do so.
The man turns to Fegh. "Are you joking? You're Talus - hell, your ancestral homeland is in the hand of some freak created by the Tarlok - an actual devil red sent from hell to destroy us all! We have to protect ourselves!"

Fegh shrugs his shoulders, "and how do we do that? Protect ourselves by killing innocent people? How do you propose we protect ourselves?."

Captain Robhen salutes. "Get to work then, you two."
"Doing whatever it takes to get rid of this plague of superhuman freaks and monsters! Come on! You must be sick to your stomach - you serve beside them every day!" He looks to his hostages. "Aren't you terrified? The military even showcases them as though they are the brave ones! Them! Not the true Seeronian heroes! Not the ones who can't rip tanks apart or shoot lasers from their eyes! Where are they? Do they care about those men and women, who only have their courage and wits?" The man is clearly agitated - there's a personal edge to it all.

Balus saluted the Captain, then got directions to where Fegh had gone. When he was close enough to tell the LT was talking to someone, he hung back a bit.

Krystal followed suit making sure to stay partially behind Balus and to ignore as much of the goings on as possible in favour of building her strength up. She almost did not notice when Balus stopped.

Fegh says, "yes I work beside powered individuals everyday. I also work beside normal individuals everyday. All show great bravery in the face of danger. I have seen powered individuals risk their lives to save the lives of men and women just like you."
"All of that aside, let me ask you what you hope to accomplish by attacking innocent people? How will attacking and killing these people benefit your cause? I fear it may instead damage it," Fegh says hoping to reason with the crazy.

Krystal and Balus, you are with the others soldiers behind the shattered remains of the plastic barriers. To their credit, most of the other soldiers are too focused on the man to acknowledge your arrival. The only exception is a private who opens up the holster on his sidearm to see if one of you needs it.
"It's all part of the plan. They're lulling us into believing they're our saviors, can't you see it?" He's on the verge of tears. "We have to strike back, no matter the cost!"
