After Alice makes it through the metal detector, she puts her ring back on and tells the nearby guards, calmly making no sudden movements, "Jason just had surgery on his spine. That's what you're seeing."

"Ain't never seen anything like that before." Said one of the guards.
"If you're lucky, you won't again. I don't wish it on anyone." Jason said as the armed guard lowered his weapon..
"Just following procedure." The scanner tech commented as they let Jason through and he picked up his belongings.
" We know. Just means I have to go through this 3 more times on our trip." Jason replied. He looked at Alice and smiled. "At least it's worth it."
He led her to the boarding ramp and onto the plane, suitcases and all. The inside of the jet looked more like a flying office, with the seats designed around conference style tables with built in workstations. Towards the back were traditional style seating, though bigger than Alice had seen passing through first class on her previous flights. A flight attendant met them just aboard the plane and took their bags to the rear of the plane which was a storage locker set up. The two business types were seated at the first table and already at their laptops.
Jason looked at Alice, "Where do you want to sit?"

Alice returns Jason's smile and takes his hand as they go to the plane. Looking around the plane, Alice looks impressed as she tells Jason "We can sit wherever. I don't really have a preference. How about you?"

" Just away from the suits." He smirked, then motioned for Alice to lead the way. " Hey, we could be the bad kids in the back of the bus that throw stuff at the other passengers."

Alice smirks and shakes her head. "Let's not and say we did, ok?" Heading to seats that aren't that too close to the suits, Alice asks Jason "You want the window seat?"

"Doesn't matter." Jason replied, stuffing his carry on in the overhead compartment, then offering to take Alice's. " So you going to tell me what to expect, or want to keep me in the dark?"

Alice looks a little embarrassed at not having thought of that herself and nods, "Not sure what you want to know. There's my mom and dad and my little brother Jake. Oh, and my grandma, who William knew, has been living with us for awhile now. They are all very nice." Alice smirks a little "though my mom will constantly ask you if you want something to eat and my dad might interrogate you a little to make sure you're good enough for his little girl. What else did you want to know?"

"That's enough." Jason smiled as he leaned over to give Alice a kiss. It was interrupted by someone clearly their throat. As jason leaned back, they could both see the gentleman from the table glaring down at them. " Can I help you?"
"I don't know how you two kids got clearance aboard my flight," he said sternly, " but I'm going to warn you know. I have important and classified documents that I need to discuss with my colleges in London prior to my arrival. I suggest you either enjoy an inflight movie or sleep or do sometthing that involves NOT listening in. Do I make my self clear?"
Jason rolled his head towards Alice with a slight smirk, almost as if asking permission to do something rash.

Alice smirks at Jason, but shakes her head at him. She then whispers "No need to cause trouble." Out loud, all she says politely to the rude gentleman, "We will not listen in on your conversation, as best as we are able to given our situation."

" I appreciate that." The stern man said as he returned to his seat at the table.
Jason groaned, then spoke lowly." You should have let me answer him. would have made the flight more interesting, or I could zip past him fast enough to slew his papers enough that he'd be the entire trip sorting them out. He grinned mischeviously.
"Atention, " said a voice over the intercomm," we will be departing in fifteen minutes. Our flight time is scheduled for 4 hours and 25 minutes, and it is currently sunny and 74 degrees London."
Jason looked at Alice, buckling up. " Government flight. We're lucky we got that much from the pilot."

Alice buckles her seatbelt and smirks a little, speaking in a low tone of voice. "We're stuck together for four and a half hours. Let's try to keep it civilized, if not pleasant." Alice puts her head on Jason's shoulder and tries to get comfortable as she waits for the plane to take off.

"forget that." Jason chuckled. "I say first chance we get, we lock ourselves in the baggage compartment or one of the bathrooms. We won't overhear his secrets, but they might hear us."

Alice can't hold back the laughter, trying to muffle it before attracting the attention of the businessmen on the plane. She says in a low tone of voice, "Bathrooms on planes are usually too small." she teases with a smirk, "the baggage compartment might be roomier."

"Huh?" Jason sat up a bit, but not enough to make Alice move her head. " That wasn't really a no then." He sat back, then draped his arm around her. " I think that's one of the things I like the most about you. You know how to catch me off guard and suprise me."

Alice winks at Jason with a smirk as she teases, "Someone's got to keep you on your toes."
