Chapter 61: Where do we start? (Team)

Sierra takes the paper and then hops offf the counter and exits the kitchen to those that are still talking. while passing Avi, she shifts and twists to avoid touching him. her eyes meet his once then seem to glaze over and she chooses to ignore his existance for now.

*she grabs the phone in the living room and checks to see if anyone is on the line, before getting comfy and waits to make her call

Isamu stands by to see what the outcome of Sierra's conversation and meeting arrangement will be.

"Well, Deci. They're probably here to kill me for leaving that fight last night. And since you're with me and were there last night as well, they're definitely gonna want to kill you."[rand=503275720164885385237810170136695524003064376165288528880300657]

"Oh, OK. Well then." With that she unleashes the full fury of her power on the vehicle and freezes it first tightly sealing it and then making it incredibly uncomfortable for them. Even making sure to cover the glass in case they try to shoot their way out reinforcing it she hopes against that.

[dakota]

The two in the car never had a chance as Deci sealed it tightly in ice. Unfortunately, there were several onlookers on the street who were now panicking.


As Isamu looked on, the other end of the phone line was picked up by Arc," That was quick."

From where she sat, Si could see beyond Is that Kristian was having a conversation with Avi that didn't look to be going well as Ryne stepped between them.


"I see." Said Beth, the same tone," So I guess my enthusiam doesn't help matters any. I just thought it was cool and exciting." She blushed a little as his words sunk in," What do you mean by that last part, Tom?"

"I get that it's cool, I do. But it's the implications I find uncomfortable." Tom fidgets a bit. "I mean that it's good that you're here, and I'm glad you're around." he blushes a bit as well.

Deci tries to react as calm as possible but silently curses herself for not using a disguise but thankful that they have not gotten out of the car yet (I am hoping but could not find a line). Calmly she pulls out the phone and calls the police and when answered, "There are two men outside a friends house. I think I saw a gun! And then out of nowhere it got frozen in ice by someone." She also gives some basic info like license and all that nice stuff before the phone is turned off to simulate someone being cut off.

She then turns to Robert and states, "I would recommend pulling away and coming back on foot. Or we can wait for the police to arrive. It is up to you?"

'yeah . . i got 2 addresses. one is here at the house. reason being, with all of us you're safer and have more protection. the other is totally unknown to me and i can't promise who'll be there for additional protection.

'your choice to pick. i'll give you the address when you've chosen' *she turns her back on the confrontation happening and trusts Ryne to keep things on the level, while this conversation happens

"Shit. Now they know what kinda force to expect. I'm just gonna run in real quick and grab my gear and my pets. We can come for the rest later." Robert hops out of the car and heads inside. He unlocks his door and grabs his duffel bag with his crimefighting gear, slings that over his shoulder and then grabs his animals and heads back to the car.

Robert could tell someone had been trying his door, but hadn't gotten in as he grabbed his things.

As Deci waited, a crowd was beginning to gather, and she could tell the two inside the car were trying to force their way out.


"All right," Beth said, pulling up a chair next to Tom," now that I understand, I can do this." She gave him a peck on the cheek. " I was starting to worry I was the only one that felt something." She took the terminal and began to play, getting used to the controls for the surveillance gear.


"There is fine." Arc replied. " Lay the receiver down for a moment and step back."

Deci announces to all gathered. "You might wish to back away as those men are most likely armed and very unhappy." Touching her bandadio to Robert, "You might want to hurry as they seem to be trying to exit the car. I think I am going to reinforce it though."

Turning to any one remaining. "Come on people I warned you to stay back." And as a deterrent she tries to lower the temp in the area even more so people will want to leave and then concentrates on reinforcing her freezing.

'here? .. lay it down? okay, not gonna ask why, but here goes . . give it a couple more seconds .. '

*Sierra shrugs and looks at the phone and then sets it down in an open place and it can be heard as she calls out a little louder 'clear . . . '

[HSummers]

Robert runs out of his house, making sure to lock the door behind him. He gets his stuff in the vehicle and gets behind the wheel. "Hey, let's go!" As soon as Deci gets in the car, he'll peel out back to base.

Tom gives a wry smirk. "Hey, I'm not made of steel. Well, not all of the time anyway." as he watches Beth get to work.

As Robert gets to the car Deci stands her ground. "You can go, but no. I am a part of a team that are the good guys. You can go, I can find my own way home." And with that she stands and watches for the police. She does activate the Banadio to whoever is on the other end. "If it is possible I am going to activate my video phone and want to make sure that even if they take my phone it will still be safe as I am going to wait for the police to arrive."

Computer Operation: [dice=100]/90% (To come up with the idea and what I am trying for here is upload of video to ftp site or the likes.)
