Chapter 61: Where do we start? (Team)

"You keep this up and one of them will knock your mask offfor you." Ryne said. One of the attackers managed to get Robert's one arm, but he caughtthe other in the nose squarely. Blood was starting to flow as the brute was about to close, only to be knocked sidewayby another flailing goon. Ryne chuckled, "Well let's at least make it a fair fight. "

The one behind Robert dropped his hold, and went for a kidney punch [dice=20+2]

"With? We ain't with no one." Tom could almost hear the 'yet' on the end of Tentacle's statement. Meanwhile, Ashley's clawed feet were digging into the roof as she forced against his hold, and Tom could feel her inching forward slowly.

U235 relized the err of his ways as he connected ( no dmg to Isamu), but before he could cry out, Sierra was on him. with his radiation powers neutralized by her copying, all he could do was struggle to break free. Deci's cold blast slowed his struggling significently[rand=63564068905692532853645540717057346949695114319169571416139200777]

Tom sighs. "Yeah, well, I better not see you making any trouble any time soon. Get if you know what's good for you and stay out of my shiny shiny hair."

Robert tries to knock the kidney punch away but ends up absorbing the hit. (Parry: [dice=20+1]) He turns around, grabs his two extendable batons from his belt and slams them into the right side of his attacker's neck.

Sierra keeps the pressure up o nthe sleeper like hold. she had lots of pratice with Bubba when he got into one of his fits, before they got the tooth pulled. the arms tighten and she uses her body to continue to keep him off guard

Deci seeing they have everything in hand decides to go check on there original target, the Cremator. Landing beside him she checks to see if he is conscious and living. After that she starts prepping him by fashioning some ice manacles around his wrists and legs. She will stay there gaurding the prisoner from anyone trying to take him away from them or if he comes too and tries to make trouble.

Tentacles didn't move at first, he was too busy watching Ashley struggle against Tom's hold. Despite his hold, she was close enough now that Tom felt the wind as he saber like energy claws passed his face. She stopped and her head shot forward, a roar of frustration filling the air.

Tentacles looked at his flying partner , who picked him up as he reverted to normal and the two of them flew over the side of the building. Ashley however, was not relenting.

Robert was suddenly aware Ryne was seated and watching, and so were the remaining toughs. Apparently they had let the remaining scrap decide things for them. "Rob, you did win a few fight before you left the ring, right?" Ryne teased a bit as Rob's opponent tried to get his arm up in time to deflect the batons [dice=20+3] [dice=20+3], but one of the batons got through and dropped him to one knee. Without standing, he shot forward to spear Robert [dice=20+2]

Deci found Cremator down and out, so he didn't resist. Sierra could feel U235 going limp in her arms, his struggling fading quick. Isamu could see that thing were well in hand, except he felt horrible and the urge to get sick was getting stronger thanks to the radiation poisoning.

And thats when the doors exploded open to reveal a nine foot mechanical nightmare stepping out. It's loudspeaker boomed as it stalked forward," You will release them or I open fire." The weapon turret on it's shoulder swivelled towards Isamu in front of the robot.[rand=125086531789103238226340264882441595934091952361917116109201812685]

Tom hits his bandaidio. "Tin Man to Fearless Leader. I got an issue with your lady here. Please advise."

Sierra gives U235 another hard shake as her eyes watch the newcomer emerge.

'you sir are interfering with a federal arrest. don't get involved or you will be charged with interfering with federal agents. please think it over. you can back away now and not worry about federal charges on top of civil and munincipal charges'

Deci sees the large robot in front of the sickened Isamu. Having experimented with her powers before she knows that the effect on metal is as impressive as it is on living creatures. As such she launches an attack against one of the legs.

Freeze Objects: A blast of super-freezing cold that
causes most objects made of metal, stone, ceramics,
plastic or wood (mailbox, armored/metal door, brick wall,
telephone pole, etc.) to become incredibly brittle for a
short period of time. The object can then be shattered to
pieces if smashed with a heavy object or a great deal of
force, like a Superhuman or Supernatural P.S. powered
punch or shot with a heavy caliber bullet or any attack that
does more than 34 points of damage. This can be useful
when the character needs to smash through a locked door
or wall, or he wants to completely destroy something. Will
also instantly freeze as much as 200 gallons (757 liters) of
water into a solid brick that remains frozen for 1D4 hours.
Note: Objects are brittle enough to shatter from 35 points
of damage for 1D4+4 melee rounds.

Even in his poisoned state, Isamu heard both Deci's shout and Tom's radio call concerning Ashley, but what he saw was more concerning as Deci's blast seemed to 'bounce' off of the something just in front of the robot's leg and hit what was left of the door next to it.

From the robot's loudspeaker boomed a woman's voice," Are you kidding? It cost me a fortune to build this thing. The hell I'm gonna interfere, but she attacked me." The robot pulled one of the doors front the hinges and slung it like a frisbee at Deci [dice=20+8] , spinning at a speed it was barely visible before starting out of the building.


On the roof, Ashley was showing no signs of relenting as Tom felt the wind of another swipe meant to remove his face.[rand=061322226661165213176686662705723358648424255008998012961449614482]

Isamu sees Deci's attack fail, and the robot strike back. He tries to slow the robot down by actually raising a stone tower underneath it (10 feet wide) driving it towards the roof, while saying, "Pointing a weapon at federal agents is interference." He then says into the radio, "Tom, try to have her focus on the robot that is on its way up," hoping that his attack works.

Deci makes an attempt to dodge out of the way of the object coming at her.

Easily dodging she states to the machine, "And you threatened Federal officers, as such you can surrender now, or accept the consequences." She does not state the option of running as that would be going against the law, but almost in the back of her head she does hope that the robot runs to save them what could be another messy battle.

Deci does hold her action, the robot threatened, and what Deci did could have been conscrewed as a warning shot. But as a Just in case she starts to drop the temp around the robot (-25f/15seconds)

"Remind me to show you my trophies when I get home, ya jerk!" Robert tries to move out of the way of the oncoming body blow (Dodge: [dice=20+1]) but gets hit anyway. Sierra watches the robot as she eases up on the hold a little. she suspects that U235 is faking his slump to get away. she knows that she'll have to get involved in the other fight, but is watching the robot head upward now. once her prisoner is totally out, she'll do what she can to reverse the radiation poisoning she's feeling and suspects that the others are now feeling as well

Tom postions himself, prepared to try and pin Ashley down on her next strike. He takes time to study her. His mind opens, and he sees the patterns of her motions like a spectrum, his body copying the probabilities and motions and patterns onto him.
