"I did find my way home yes." Deci simply responds, not sure what the disappointed look is for. If anyone she thought Ryne of all people would understand or at least respect why she did what she did. But not wanting to start another argument she will wait until someone else starts the yelling.
That is until of course her mouths natural gibberness picks up. "You almost look disappointed?"

*Sierra draws on some paper. two blueprints of a sort and then what is clearly a partially recalled area map of an area. it is the 'map' she sets down first.
'this is the neighbourhood . . well what i recall of it. the building is here and these are the exits i know of from the building in question. fire escape ladder here . . front and back doors. there might be another exit from the basement, but i don't know for sure. i never went there'
*there are clearly the front street and the back alley and most likely a parking lot as well. that map she leaves on the table. then puts the other paper down with the 2 smaller maps.
'now this is the ground floor. front and back doors. laundry is here .. the stairs here .. back hall that is usually packed with trashbags. this one is the floor plan that Kristian's room was on. similar, but it has 2 sets of stairs. with big windows here and here for access to the fire escapes. i'm not sure if the upper floor is still the same. but this is the best i can think of of how to get us in and out of there in one piece.
'now if i get there and stop and seem to be breathing hard, its most likely because i'm trying to find out who's there and how many there are. that's the other way i can protect us. each of you gives off an odd . . like a radio wave that i can tune out, but any new ones will make some static that i'll have to try and sift through . .
'think thats it. just need the arrest warrants and Fed ID now. oh . . do we have any way to keep . . oh i know. the Cure. we mix it with water and then inject whoever gets in our way? might make for easier transport without really damaging them a lot

Kristian looked at Sierra's diagram, nodding. " Looks right to me. If I remember right, the top floor was pretty much the same as the others." He looked at Tom, smirking," You might get your chance, mon, if we need to go through those gang banger we roomed near. You can clear the path if need be."
Macolter entered the room with a stack of ID cards similar to the ones and offered them to everyone," We have another problem. Police assistance is unavailble if you were looking for it. They're busy on a manhunt. I don't buy it, but apparently they have proof that Trevor burned Tyler and Jason's camp to the ground, with Allison still in it after they had a fight."
As Ashley cringed, Mac added," I know some of you are or were friends with Trevor, but for now we can't get involved until this matter with Wraith's goons is settled. If you run into him, you can warn him or turn a blind eye, but you cannot help in his evading the police. Not until we can justify it."
Ryne shrugged," You ran away and left a teammate behind. We don't do stuff like that. Even if you don't always agree, you have each others back. When all is said and done, then you can have it out over what you should or shouldn't do"

Deci gets defensive at this. "I beg your pardon. You are saying I abandoned my teammate. How about the team abandoning me in a time when it is needed. How about the leader of the team telling me to break the law or a member of the team telling to commit an act that would be illegal. I know I am at fault too, I should not have listened, but as being part of the team I was trying to do right by him and ergo the rest of the team." She is moved to a bit of tears as she was hoping this was behind her.
"On top of that did any one think that I did that so as to lead the people away from him to make it easier on both him and me as any one showing up on scene would have been looking for the source of the cold and not Robert. But no! No one considers that. All this team seems to care about is what they want and anyone on the outside trying to get in has to conform to their ideals exactly!" Deci stops herself from going on.
"I am sorry, you have made your attempt to make me feel welcome, but it is just that this team seems half unprepared and not willing to listen to ideas from others. Now I know I have brought that up before, but, but..." Still fuming she cuts herself off. "I am sorry with few exceptions it seems almost like you have to bed down with someone on the team to get excepted." Finally with frustration she plops down and hangs her head waiting for the yelling to begin. Especially since she herself was probably not that quiet with her rant. "I am sorry Ryne!" Her depression coming out clearly as right now she does not feel very utilized or welcomed on the team.

Robert takes a card from Mac, looks it over and puts it in his wallet. "So uh, what's there for me to do. Where do you want me?"

" Calm down kiddo." Ryne said, placing his hands on Deci's shoulders as he squatted down in front of her. " You aren't the first one to not understand and have to get away in this crazy game we play. What you have to understand is there are other circumstances you didn't know. Consider this okay? Wraith is dirty, we all know that. He and his goon squad work for the mayor, so that means he's at least a little dirty. The cops who were responding work for the mayor too, so we have to tread lightly. Not to mention if things got ugly, the two of you were on your own out there." He smiled lightly," Deci, other than me and Avi, this whole team is almost as green as you are, so none of us will make the right decisions all the time. The main thing is we work through them together and learn from those mistakes as a team. Okay?" He held his arms out to give her a hug with a big smile.
Mac smiled at Robert's enthusiasm. " We'll leave that up to Isamu as team leader."

Isamu rubs his chin as he thinks things over, "I do not believe Trevor would ever willingly hurt anyone, especially Allison. Her death is truly saddening. However, I do think we may be able to use this situation to our advantage. With the police invested on this search there will not be any to get involved. As long as we document the arrest or attempt at arrest of these two then we can weaken Wraith's hold on the police force and in turn the city."
He pauses and then looks at Mac, "we will need copies of the federal warrants on these two."

Deci accepts the hug but denotes that Ryne did not answer or avoided some of her questions and still had her wondering but not the top thing on her mind. "What I am saying is that my faith right now is very shaken. Not in the police because I understand they are corrupt. But tonight I commited a crime based on one of my team mates. I froze two people in a car without making sure they were there to do harm. I took the word of my teammate that what I did was the right thing. Turns out we had no proof at all. Also turns out we have no credentials. As if it was and it was verified then they would have been attacking a federal agent and we would have been in the right. Heck by that token we could have used a lot of rationale to do what I did tonight." Deci says having muchly calmed down.
"Do you understand what I mean. This team only seems to care about the consequences after the fact. They do not plan ahead, well no that is not what I mean, they may plan ahead but do not always think ahead. You know what it is really hard to explain. Obviously I am at fault and might as well accept that no one else is!" She sighs very emoly almost in completed and utter defeat.
Even Isamu does not understand. Perhaps my Grandmother was right. is the last part she thinks to herself.

*glances at Tom then at Isamu and then sighs at the high level of testoterone that's showing itself . . . once again. she realizes that she'll be nothing more than someone in the back.
'fine . . i guess i get to carry the warrants and the camera. the headbashers can do what they do best . . just don't kill them. i'm thinking that we'll need cuffs or something similar. other than that? i'll just follow along quietly, cause i'm probably more of a detriment because of where i grew up. oh well . . . don't worry about it.

Ryne grinned, "I wish I could explain it as clearly as you'd like, Deci. Yes, you broke the law as you see it. But how many lives did you save by doing it? If the men waiting on Robert had gotten out of the car, how many innocent people do you think would have been hurt? We both know that they were armed even if we didn't see their weapons and we both know that if they were there, they intended to use them, right?
He leaned backa bit as he continued, looking Deci in the face," We can't plan for every contingency, especially in the circles we travel. How could we have planned on Janie being shot by one of those quaduplet meta powered assassins that were trying to kill Tom's reporter friend for reasons we still don't know? Isamu and the others are planning a mission that will take all of us right now, but they can't take everythng into account or we'll never get underway. All they can do is try to plan for most of it and be prepared to act on fly if things change. I know you've got doubts right now, kiddo, but beleive me, the way we face theses things best is by sticking together."
"Already got them for you." Mac said, handing Sierra a dossier.
Arc's cellphone rang. He looked at the calller ID and scowled. He answered," Yeah?"
pause
"I'm out, don't worry about it."
pause
"What difference does it make where I am? I went out for coffee."
pause
"Fine, I'll be there in twenty minutes or so." Arc hung up and looked at the others. " Wraith is pissed, but he's at the apartment building now. Said something about hunting down a a fireball, whatever that means."
"Then we have them all together." Mac said. " And they won't suspect you to go after them like this."

Deci lets what Ryne says sink in before posing another question. "OK then let me ask this. Seeing the individuals there would it not have been better to walk away and come back later. I will admit I was at fault too and should of called it in. I guess my problem here is I am willing to accept blame for my part but no one else is willing to take the blame for that part which makes this entire thing unfair. So....whatever." She raises her hand in defeat.
