Krystal looks at Balus and worries about him going off but stays there to protect the Captain. "OK will do. Be careful though!" Surprised that those words came out of her mouth.

Fegh takes the weapons and returns to the captain. He hands the weapons over, and now looks out to see the number of troops that have Landed. He says, "these are the weapons I uncovered, however I do not think they will be much help against those invaders."

"He's not baka," Reika said loud enough for Balus and the captain to hear after she was struck with the sighting of the plan. "He has a plan. Our powers are unknown here. We can use them to stand in for Rawg. We may be able to scare them off the planet. Fanaticism is a horrible thing, but it can be used to our advantage. It may be a weakness we can exploit."
Right now, Shingu needed time. She briefly closed her eyes and scratched her arm where some might have noticed she had a gray storm cloud bound in a chain.
For the soldiers chasing Shingu, she rewarded with a wind rush. A gale force wall of wind rushed directly at them. For her second trick, she followed up with another blast of lightning to another leader of the invaders, from the vantage she shared with everyone else.
"Yeah, maybe it wasn't some dumb little boy in a skirt. Maybe Rawg thinks this is a bad idea."
Activate air power tat, wind rush people chasing shingu and lightning to a leader away from the first one. Use anthropology to keep studying the Rawg worshipers to get to know their beliefs [dice=100][rand=880129490682854163443287116045452016049581023585882734167747357]

The Captain looks at Fegh. "Agreed Lieutenant. Corporal, go bring back both the newcomers in one piece. Lt. Fegh? Gather up the rest of your team and give them these weapons. See if any of them can provide some help. And check on Ms. Carmyn."
Shingu races ahead of hte troopers, as Reika's attacks slow them further, but doesn't deter them.

Krystal not hearing instructions for her stays there as ordered to keep an eye on the Captain. Although for the most part she pays attention to Balus going out into Danger. She hopes he does not go beyond the range of her shield though.

Balus nodded and then headed on an intercept course for Shingu. Once he was within speaking range, he let loose with a tone he would never dare to use in front of the Captain, " Are frakking nuts? You just endangered everyone with this stunt of yours!" He picks up the largest piece of debris he can manage easily ( should be huge considering his PS), and hurled it at Shingu's pursuers.

More than the burly bishonen's bitching, Shingu heard more thunder and rushes of wind. He knew it was Reika covering his escape. Shingu didn't see how the red soldiers could connect lightning to him. He hoped while running away, as the wind and lightning picked up, they would give up on that idea in a hurry. How could a kid apparently running for his life cause wind and lighting against the army of Rawg? Clearly, Rawg was quite pissed.
It was time for another dirty trick. Still in mid stride, he mumbled the incantation for magic net. The invisible magic barrier fell on a number of his chasers, halting their progress and perhaps leaving them vulnerable to Balus' bombardment.

She had most of a minute left to enjoy the air power tattoo and was in no hurry. Reika smiled and glanced over to the captain.
"Gunchou? On our world we have a religion called Sufi Islam. They have traveling monks known as fakir. The fakir prosthelytized by performing minor feats of strength like sleeping on beds of nails or using cantrips and prestigiation.
"It worked. They impressed many and could eat well with a few tricks. They spread their faith. And perhaps we should consider this as a good tactic now. The fakir, gave birth to the Engli, I mean Seeronian word: fake."
She finished her internal count off 13 seconds from the last rush for another wind attack. Prime numbers were fun. This time she targeted anyone around Shingu with the gust.
"By the way Barus-sorry Balus- may I sit with you at dinner tonight?" she gave a slightly coquettish, but very brief giggle and a gleaming smile.

Balus chucks what appears to be a bus to knock down a column of troops, while Shingu's Magic net and Reika's winds deter them further.
The Captain's voice barks on Balus' communicator. "Good, you've got them staggered, now find a way to deter pursuit and get back here!"

With pursuit subdued, Shingu decided for a change of clothes. He heard most gai-jin believe "All Japs look alike," and mistook Japanese for Chinese, Koreans and Vietnamese all the time. It was laughable. To Asians, not only did people from other countries look nothing alike, most considered them to be a separate sub-race of humans.
Finding a cubby hole, he changed out of the hakama and keikogi, pulling on a pair of "Genuine Levi Strauss bluejeans," and a white baseball shirt with red trim. The button-down shirt bore the terribly intimidating nickname "Carp" in red script. He replaced his wood block sandals with a pair of Mizuno sneakers. He meticulously folded his clothing and replaced it in the pack. Even the careful storage took an experienced Japanese man only seconds.
His bokken was also something of a trademark. He replaced it in his bag. For weapons, he chose the ninja-to and aikuchi, which he wore in a compact and modern "spy rig" over his left shoulder. The sword was small, and the knife smaller. It would not draw much notice on casual glance. On a belt loop, he hung a chain attached to a sickle- a kusari gama.
His tachi was too big to stash, so he carried it like a walking stick or a pole arm. Using what cover and debris he could, he prowled his way back to the group.

When he found them, he proceeded straight to Reika, bowed deep and spoke in rapid, formal Japanese.
He then turned to the Captain and repeated the same, deep bow, and repeated the apology in "Engrish."
"Gunchou. I aporogize to you and your team for my error striking the enemy with rightening. I have endangerud, you team, youru mish-un and Sato-san with a rash and irr-conceive-ed action. The farut is mine, and will not be repeated. I begu your forgiveness. Shitsurei Shimashita."
He remained in the bow, until the commander responded. His manners were the same. He still seemed to be trapped in the Japanese feudal era, but looked more like a modern Japanese teen. The baseball shirt showed his physique much better than the keikogi. He had massive forearms, biceps like tree trunks and a V-Shape of a body builder. He did not rival Balus in any way, but for a normal human, especially one so young, only a juicer could compare.[rand=25178119674731787789242230956854702300887258516812040502017603538]

Fegh nods to the Captain and then makes his way through the ranks of the landing party, arming those that he can. He passes off all the weapons as he doesn't need any himself. He approaches Carmyn and says, "Ambassador, how are you holding up?"

Krystal still watches to make sure everyone gets back safely. As such she starts to search around to keep her mind busy to see if there is anything she can use to make a makeshift weapon

Reika reached into her coat, around the waist level, and produced a laser pistol, passing it to Fegh with a pouch-full of e-clips. "It's not powerful, but it hurts more than anything the indigenous forces would have. Keep it or give it to someone that needs it, but this is a loan. I'd like to have it back when you recover your weapons."
It wasn't much of a pistol, but a backup just in case. She preferred her tattoos, her training and traditional weapons and her rifle, in that order. The pistol was just an afterthought if she ran out of manna for her tats, and charge for her rifle, if in a long range battle.
She eyed Shingu during his apology. It was better accepted, and she didn't blame him for thinking the redshells might be ignorant of magic. They might have lashed out at anyone, and he happened to be close. It was rash, but Shingu was young, and believed in rash action over indecisiveness. Besides, if she did not accept the apology, he would keep apologizing, and possibly try to atone with his life.
"Kashitsu wo yurusu," she said with a bow half as deep as his.
After 17 seconds, she wind-rushed the main column of invaders again, having it and one more left in her minute. Reika loved to torment invaders.
(anything on the anthropology roll? Cursor observations, similar beliefs and cultures, symbols, customs and traditions?)
She studied their military, formations, weapons, tactics, rank structure, traditions, armor, vehicles and capability. Now that they had chased Shingu, dodged lightning and wind, and been pancaked by a bus, she had at least seen them in action.

Von Carmyn is panting like a marathon runner. "I...it's so intense...the evil...there's a single soul out there, and it's an abyss - endless and black like a universe without stars." She starts shivering.
The Captain nods to Shingu. "Accepted. Do something like that again and I'll see to it you suck vacuum."
Fegh, your strike team is now lightly armed - many of them have some degree of offensive superabilities or psychic powers that should come in handy.
Reika, the Rawg Warriors are efficient and disciplined - it's hard to even tell if they're a society given the regimentation.
Krystal, you see a point of light over the sky - your enhanced vision tells you it's a flaming humanoid of somekind that seems to be observing the battlefield.
