Balus didn't move right away. His assignment aboard the Victory was to keep the captain safe. " Sir, maybe I had better remain here with you." He suggested.

Krystal confused as she is maintaining the shield as well. But seeing that is not taking as much effort as Balus is holding the structure, she starts to search as per the captains orders for survivors in the wreck. Upon finding each one she will try her best to pull them free for the medic.

Amid rubble and debris, Shingu looked up, and spotted humans. They might be gai-jin, but at least they were the same species! Better yet, they spoke a language he knew. Perhaps they were from Earth or knew how to get back. "Reika, look! Humans, and they speak English," he said in excited Japanese. At that, he approached the other homo sapiens. Shingu appeared to be the typical Asian teen, though with an incredible physique. A 5'5" wall of muscle. His wore his short hair to a moppy length, though not long like a nobleman, or buzzed short like a businessmen. He certainly did not resemble a monk. His dress was odd and traditional. For a shirt, he wore a heavy blue keikogi. In lieu of pants, he wore a black hakama, which to westerners, looked something like a skirt, though was in fact, a set of very baggy trousers. On his feet were wooden "flip-flops" and tabi socks. His belt was a white martial arts belt, the lowest rank, or kyu, in karate. It was well worn and stained, however. As his strangest attire, he had a wooden bokken or practice sword tucked into the belt, as if he were a child playing samurai. Over his shoulder was a massive daito, a monk's sword resembling a straight no-dachi. He carried a pack with what appeared to be sword hilts sticking out. He resembled anime character Tatewaki Kuno in both dress, the bokken and youthful appearance, as he seemed to be about 17. He had a grimness to him that might make another anime fan think of Goemon Ishikawa. When he approached the other humans, he bowed formally. "Konbanwa. I am Sakai Shingu, butrer of Daigo-Ji temple of Kyoto. It is good to meet humans that speaku engrish." Like most Japanese, he had trouble with the letter L, and spoke with a thick accent. His English, or "Engrish" was very formal, as if learned in school and rarely practiced. Many businesses in The Republic still used English given ArmaTech's history as an arms supplier for the United States. "We have losted our way in tereport from Kyoto to Hiroshima and don't know where we are, what gai-jin own this pranet and who is attacking. If you are to fight them, I would fight with you until we find the way home, if you would take-u us for service." He bowed again, to show his willingness to serve with the humans.

(OOC: you are not under any more debris - you are above ground in pile of rubble in a street)
Balus, Krystal and Fegh, you see another human dressed very strangely walking up and talking to you (See Shingu's description)
The Captain looks at Balus. "If you wish soldier." as he looks over the survivors - one of the other soldiers has some field medic training and begins applying it. He looks to the stranger. "I have no idea what any of those places are, kid - but right now, you're with us. We'll need to stick together through whatever is going on here."

Krystal spots the person but not sure what to do, but seeing the captain invited them to join will not question anything.
Krystal then takes to the air so that she can assist in spotting survivors.

Seeing the weapons carried by the newcomer, Balus tensed a bit. He spoke in a hushed voice as he repositioned himself to be between the Captain and the newcomer," Captain sir, our guests wouldn't allow us to bring any weapons, yet this one is armed. How do we know he isn't one of the invaders?"

Fegh also steps forward and he prepares to draw his energy blades as he waits to see what these new comers intend to do. Their English does not seem to be very good although he thinks he can make out what the one says. The Captain simply accepted them and invited them to join the landing party, so it would not do to start any problems. They are obviously not from the world they were all on now. But they did not seem to be from the the crew's homeworld either.
"Sir I concur, how can we be sure they are not part of an advanced scouting party. They do not seem to be native to this world."

Shingu saw the other humans reaching for weapons as the spoke. He took a step back, to diffuse the situation.
"Youuuu thinku we bombed Purr Harbur again?! We come here! I don't know how! First dog-faces put us in jairu, then they let us out! We find our ken and our propery in office when dog-faces run out to fight. Then Death Staru bomb us while we look for way home! Now you think we are from Death Staru!" He began to pace nervously. "There is ebil here!"
"I'm no Stormtrupu! I am from Earuth! Like you! Not Americun! I am Japanese, Not Engrish, not Amerikun!! My associate is Japanese!" At that, he looked around for Reika.
"We come here through accerdent! We here now being bombed by baka in space! They bomb you, and they bomb we! So now we fight them together and save dog gai-jin!"

"Fascinating," says Fegh. He adds, "What is Earuth? We do not recognize any of the places you speak about. Captain it seems that they are not from this planet. However by his confusion I would say that he does not even know where he is, or how he got here."

Balus shook his head hard, trying to make sense of what the newcomer was saying. " Calm down. None of what you are saying makes any sense."

Shingu looked more frustrated, but then drew in a breath, exhaled and appeared calm. He then mumbled something. Suddenly, his accent faded away, and the others could understand them if he were speaking their native language in their native dialect.
"I am sorry. English is not my first or even my second language. I thought you all might be from my home planet of Earth, because your language originates there. My associate Reika Sato and I used a teleportation scroll spell in an attempt to go from the city of Kyoto, in the New Empire of Japan, to Hiroshima, in the Republic of Japan. It's on the same island, but magic is, unpredictable on Earth.
"I presume we are no longer on Earth, our Earth, or any other. I also presume an Earth exists in this universe, since you all speak a common language on our planet. My friend is a sort of Human from the Lost Continent of Atlantis. She and her people know things about dimensional travel, and might be able to get us home. We are used to fighting demons and monsters in our world. If you fight evil and protect the innocent. If you are here to stop the invasion coming from that ship in the sky, then let us join you.
We've seen the residents of this world. They jailed us for our unintended rift, and for what they deemed to be violent thoughts. If they thought devil hunters were violent, they will have nothing to stop these invaders. Let's work together and save these people."
Shingu wondered if he was wrong about these humans, and they were the ones, in fact, aiding the invaders. He cast the suspicion aside, as now the gai-jin stood with Reika and him amid the same rubble. Both groups were targets. He could only hope the gai-jin would accept the two demon hunters into their fold, and help them to maybe find more Atlanteans or a dimensional transport center, so they could find their way home.

Fegh says, "I am not sure how a language can originate on a planet none of us have ever heard. Our language is called Seeronian. It originated on our home world Seeron. What is mag-ic," he pronounces the word as if it the first time he has said it. "We have no such thing as magi-ic where we are from. In fact that is a new word for us."
Fegh turns towards the Captain and says in a low voice intended for the Captain's ears only, "sir these people seem to wish to help, but it almost sounds as if they are delusional. If you allow them to help I suggest you split them up and assign some of our people to go with them and stay with them at all times. In this mental state they may prove unpredictable."

A tall woman-human, asian, and over a half-foot taller than the male-walks forward when she heard the Japanese man say her name.
She has long black hair, and has an incredible physique beyond her formidable height. The sword around her waist was not carved of wood. It was a long steel katana. Over her shoulders, she wore a black leather trench coat. Buttons remained unfastened down the length.
Others could see she wore what amounted to a fairly modest, but still sexy black bikini underneath, with long leather boots at the feet of her lengthy legs. Handles of what could be small knives hung from her shoulders. Strangely, her body sported a number of tattoos. Some of animals, others weapons similar to her own and Shingu's. The strangest of all were unidentified symbols, looking vaguely arcane and certainly ancient.
Beyond that, she carried an energy rifle, pistol and wore dark black sunglasses- a far more modern woman in a modern age, not like anachronistic Shingu. She addressed him in authoritative Japanese, after hearing the conversation. Then, she walked in front of the group, caching the gist of the conversation.
"So, you don't believe in magic? There are dangers you've never known, but would be wise to fear. Magic, like any other weapon, is only as deadly as the warrior who wields it." She spoke english better than Shingu, but still had an accent.
"Shingu?"
She removed her coat and dropped it to the ground. She passed Shingu her katana, then a pair of sais she wore beneath her shoulders. Then she passed Fegh her rifle and pistol with confidence.
Then, with the old, "Nothing up the sleve," line, the pledge. She revealed, other than the tats, the boots and the bikini, she had nothing concealed on her person. And revealed she was not a classical beauty, but attractive in an intellectual way.
With a smile, she stretched out her well inked arms covered with odd symbols, swords, clubs, chains. The turn.
Then she touched a tattoo of a tiger curled around her side. The orange and black feline looked if it began to run. It grew in detail and seemed to take on three dimensions, then it grew beyond her body. The feline assumed the proportion of a full-grown male bengal and leapt away from her ribcage, landing, as a normal tiger, in front of her.
"Sit Yusaku-kun!" At that the tiger sat, like a family collie.
Then she touched a silver chain coiled around her elbow. With a tug of her left hand, the ink chain began to unfurl away from her elbow into a real chain. She whipped the chain, catching a long, thin piece of debris, which she toppled back to the ground with a jerk. The chain unwound, and she snatched the business end of her manriki gusari back into her right hand. She smiled again to the crowd. Then to the tiger, who vanished, reappearing on her side. Then the chain ebbed away from material existence, only to fade back into being where it once decorated her right elbow.
"That is a minor display. Where we come from, evil exists that was created by magic, and armed with magic far superior to this. We call them vampires and demons. If we can find way to your plane through accident, then so can this evil. It enslaves and destroys all before it."
She gazed up into the sky and began to recover her clothing and weapons, dressing in both quickly. "It appears you have your own enslavers and destroyers to contend with before worrying of those of other planes. As Shingu said, we would ask to travel with you until I may find a means to bring us home. We will fight on your behalf if you fight oppression. We will teach you to battle the evils we call our own, as well. I pray the day never comes, but if a vampire fell upon your world, you will need to know what steps you must take to defeat it."
Hoping her appeal would break the culture barriers, Reika made observations. She tried to learn more about this Seeronian culture by studying their dress, manners, and social structure. She paid attention to their weapons, arms and technology. She looked up to the sky, to see if she could make sense of their location. Then she had a thought.
"If the language we speak is Seeronian, then perhaps our planet exists in your plane. If you have a map or representation of your home planet, I would like to see. My ancestors may be your own, as they traveled through the planes and the stars."

The Captain looks over Shingu and Reika. "You will join us, yes, but it will take time for you to earn our trust. I have no idea what Earth is or where it's from, and I don't buy into mysticism, but for now, you seem to be the only people on this planet that we can work with, so for now let's work together. First, I believe we should leave this area and see if we can meet up with their civilian defense forces or police or security or whatever the thrice-damned they want to call it." He looks at Fegh. "We need intell and shelter and a strategic standing area - let's go find one."
He starts walking off. "And if you find any weapons, I'd feel a lot less naked on this battlefield."

"Yes sir," says Fegh. Since the Captain only spoke to him Fegh takes it upon himself to delegate to those around him. He turns to the natives, "we need a secure building that is defensible. We also need whatever passes for weapons provided to everyone here. Whatever your people use as a police force, a commander of that force needs to meet us at that secure building." he says as he motions to the landing party. "We will also need a map of your city and access to science facilities. Preferably any that work on the lasers that you use for travel." Looking up at Crystal he adds in way of explanation, "those will probably be the easiest to use since they are already in place. We can modify them to repulse the landing craft, or turn them into out right weapons. Can you think of anything else?"
Allowing Crystal to think a moment he then turns his attention back towards their hosts, "do you have any heavy equipment or vehicles that is used for construction or demolition? These with experienced drivers can be used as vehicles against any invaders."
He turns to Balus, he says, "private (hopefully that was the right rank). You may need to fashion weapons if they cannot provide us with any. Begin to look for something that can be used."
