The ship's descent begins to slow, as you can see a powerful laser is used to slow the craft as it enters the atmosphere and lowers atop a tower.
The airlock opens, and you now find yourselves in the midst of a grou of humanoids ranging in height from 6 to 6 and a half feet tall, with a head resembling that of a german shepard, with short shaggy fur in hues of light orange to dark brown. They carry an assortment of strange wand-like devices that they wave over the group. A strawberry blonde furred female in flowing green robes bows her head slightly to you.
"Welcome to the planet Ter. I am Teriad Rasa. Please do not worry, but we must scan your minds for any violent intents before proceeding."
(everyone save vs. telepathy - they are going for deep probes here. Unless you are very willing to let them in)
(Reika Sato and Shingu Sakai)
You are currently being held in detention on Ter for having violent thoughts and emerging through an unauthorized dimensional rift.

Krystal having absolutely nothing to hide just lets them probe her mind completely. While it is happening she looks around to see all that there is to see. Making note of everything that there is there, especially technology because of OCD.

Shingu waited in the prison to meet with other investigators, or to appear before the magistrate. True, he treated demons and monsters with violence, but only as far as a surgeon harmed his patient to remove a cancer from the patient's body. Toward mortals, and even immortals of peaceful intent, good alignment and those that avoided technology and sorcery to advance their selfish natures and advance personal power, Shingu could care less. He hoped his principled nature, and his new partner's good alignment would shine through, and they would be released quickly.
As for the rift, well, it was really only supposed to be a teleport. That was a very unforeseen accident.
"Reika, these beings mean no harm to us," he said in Japanese. "As they probe us, let's let them in, and show we mean no harm. They have greater mental strength, and resistance could be futile and insulting. We can't be angry or contemplate escape, as we are the aliens, and maybe even the monsters here. We are the gai-jin"
Just in case, Shingu cast his sense evil spell, so see if he was wrong about the people of Ter. He sat on the floor, hakama over his knees, and began to meditate, his mind at perfect peace and rest and open for all probes. All he and Reika could do now would be to wait for what happened next, and to exhibit manners as the involuntary guests of the locals.
Actions: Sense evil spell Meditate, and show no resistance to psychic probe, verbal interrogation, and not to contemplate escape or resistance.

Fegh has no intentions of doing anything violent but he knows much about the ships systems and procedures and protocols. He tries to hid those things from the mind probe.

(Krystal and Fegh)
"We detect that you have no violent intent towards the people of Ter. You may speak your minds and state your intentions."
Von Carmyn begins "We are here on behalf of the planet Seeron to begin negotiations and introduce ourselves we wish-"
"-we cannot help you. We do not believe in violence." The Vulpese diplomat finishes. "Such is against our nature."
"Oh." The Seerman woman was clearly taken aback by the bluntness of their hosts. (Shingu)
While you feel no evil intent from the Vulpese people themselves, you can sense something of great evil approaching from far, far away...

Krystal feeling she is there more as the token mechanic does not really have any questions, but has an idea on how to open talks a little more. Unfortunately she is not the one in charge of speaking at this time. As such she continues to scan the area to see what level of technology this planet is at compared to Seeron.

Fegh tilts his head as he looks at them. He states, "forgive me but I am confused. You state that violence is against your nature, yet upon entering the system you threatened our ship. Is not that contradictory to your nature?"
Fegh seems genuinely interesting in an answer and is not trying to provoke their hosts.

"I feel evil approaching from afar, Reika," said Shingu after he completed his spell. "It could be danger for these people. They may not have the means or the ability to defeat it. I do not know why these people would think we would be violent towards them. Still, when faced with evil, a non-violent people usually crumble. They may need our help."
Shingu thought of the animal features of their jailers and wondered if they could be oni. Even if they were not evil, he wondered if they could be demons.
Japanese mythology [dice=100] needs 40 Demon/Monster lore [dice=100] needs 45
He had no idea what the aliens were, only that they seemed to criminalize violence. He felt no ill will toward his captors, and wondered why they feared him. Could it only be because, along with Reika, he was the Gai-jin of the world? Had they never seen a human?
Perhaps, this land was part of another world, or even another universe, where humans did not exist, or lived to enslave all others as the demons of Earth enslaved and took what they wanted.
Shingu wondered how these strange people would meet violence. Would they negotiate a peace, subdue their opponent or destroy an enemy quickly with overwhelming force? Fear often led to violence. Would these people see their hypocrisy? Would they seek aid from "violent" monster slayers, or would they submit to others.
For now, he shared his only observation with Reika. The only way to prove their innocence was to avoid violence and earn the trust of their jailors. They had to wait.
"They will soon see we mean them no harm." At that, Shingu returned to his meditation.[rand=7790265610065652692261708573815212333085255364151911896636096735]

Reika wasn't exactly sure what they were doing here and even how they got here. She sat next to Shingu with her legs out in front of her because any other seating arrangement would hinder use of her tattooed weapons. She watched the aliens intently and nodded slowly as if what Shingu had said to her had just set in. Reika watched their movements and the way they spoke to one another to see what she could learn from the aliens that might be of use to them. Reika cleared her mind and slowed her breathing but continued to observe the aliens.

(ALL)
An explosion rocks the ground beneath you, causing a shaking.
(Fegh and Krystal)
The Vulpese leader barks out ot the others in what you would guess is their native tongue, and then they begin racing away.
The captain touches a nearly invislbe stud on the cybernetic cylinder where his right ear used to be. "Victory, respond. What's going on up there? What? No. No. Go silent and withdraw. That's an order. "
(Reika and Shingu)
Your cell door opens.

Shingu's eyes opened as he got to his feet in an instant. He heard the explosion, connecting it to the approaching evil. Gazing over to Reika, he shrugged, and gave an Asiatic "Hmmm," as he pondered the meaning and magnitude.
Given the rumbling of the ground and sturdiness of the prison, the explosion was likely significant and probably caused loss of life. The people of this world did all they could to deter violence, yet it was not enough. Sometimes, violence could only be prevented by violence, and pacifists would find themselves at a disadvantage. It may not be demons in the attack, but it was his duty, along with Reika's to protect the innocent.
"Perhaps they saw we mean the people of this world no harm, but I fear we may suddenly be the least of their worries. Let's find our belongings and do what we can to help."
Sakai Shingu proceeded towards the area where they were processed, and their weapons confiscated. He remained mindful of the possibility of other prisoners, perhaps criminals in the detention area, and though he made no effort to avoid guards, he made no aggressive moves to draw attention. He moved with purpose, as if he was supposed to be there, though as quietly and quickly as possible.

Reika felt the explosion as it shook her from her concentration on the aliens. She quickly moved to her feet and looked around for anything unusual but other than the aliens could find nothing.
She shrugged and canted her head toward the open cell and moved quietly but stealthily along with Shingu toward it.

(Fegh and Krystal)
"A massive fleet of giant spaceships is destroying the orbital defenses and bombing the planet. I've order Victory to go to stealth mode and retreat away from the planet until they can mount a safe rescue." Captain Robhen responds as he follows the aliens to a local command center.
