Autumn having no skills of note to use here just does her best to keep Richardson quiet to the best of her abilities. Any time he shakes she squeezes his hand as well as using motions to show him how she is breathing in hopes he picks it up to calm himself.

Sam freezes, making a slashing motion to Shep to indicate that he should shut the hell up as she waits with baited breath, hoping the other ship will pass them by.

The sonar operator called out something in a hush but serious tone. The captain began barking orders and the sub began to come up to speed. The co pilot said something, and the gunners left their positions, and passed Sam and Shep and entered the engine room.
" Captain Fraser," Called the sub captain," we have a situation."
Above, the psis aboard could sense 2 somethings diving from the vessel towards them as the ship began to turn.

Sam immediately heads over to where the Captain is and asks "What's the situation?"

Richardson is much calmer now. He frowns. Seeing the activity on board, he wonders if he just got everyone killed. He nods and mouths, "thank you," to Autumn, and then again to Tori. He straightens and begins to check his gun as if nothing had happened. The events of moments ago already in the past. He is now focused on doing a soldiers job, if needed.
Anyone close by could see his teeth tightly clenched, and the sweat pouring off his face as he tries to focus on what they may be about to face.

Socrates sealed completely his armour and positioned himself across from an exterior hatch. "Two creatures approach." He said, calmly, not yet taking the safety off his rifle. "Magical ones. Shep, what do the Horune use as boarding troops?"
He knew Sam was talking to the captain, but a scout's reporting was in every direction - everyone needed to know when the scout identified a threat.

Tori felt the things coming. She allowed Richardson up, then gave him a quick nuzzle with her soft, furry face. She gave Sam and the Captain a two-finger gesture, which, if in England, might be considered rude. She then held her hand horizontal and made a kicking gesture with the two fingers, and pointed in the general direction of the swimmers, hoping to get her point across.
Her ears pulled against her head and she bared her teeth in the direction of the enemy combat swimmers. Without sound, she pulled on her helmet, sealed it, and activated the optics band. She held her speargun in one hand and swim fins in the other, awaiting word to stand and make her way to the escape trunk for a fight.
She checked the sub's depth gauge. She and Janx both wore CNA-2 suits. Both were stealthy and would give them the element of surprise. Sadly, they were no good beyond 300 feet, and would crush like eggs.
"Captain," Tori said softly. "You can outrun swimmers on sleds or outdive them, but if ya want me and Janx for welcome wagon, better let us off now. We're stealthy in these here suits. They ain't gonna see us until they start to hurt. Give us our depth and sea-floor depth. I got a plan." She pronounced plan as "play-an," in typical Lonestar fashion.

"Foxin' get some." Janxi mumbled. She racked a mini-torpedo into her rifle and kept her flippers ready. She really wanted to get into the water and kill whatever was chasing them. It felt like swimmers, but they could be on sleds or in a sub. She thought the Triax boat would had enough to kill them, but Tori's plans were usually fun and violent. Tearing up a swimmer underwater rocked.

" No swimming. " The captain said adamantly, " We won't be stopping. My men working on rear torpedo launcher. Captain, are any of your people gunnery trained if need be?"

"Aye aye, sir," Tori said. If the sub was planning a speedy getaway, it would be better to stay aboard. From more than a few patrols, she knew she could handle a turret as could Janxi. "Skipper, me and Cpl. Janxi are qualified on mounted weaps, if ya need us."

Socrates shook his head at the weapon's question. He was guarding a door, anyways. Though the way these crew reacted, he doubted the hatch was going to be the choice point of entry.

"Soc, I wouldn't worry too much about that there door. They come in that way, it's cuz we sunk." Tori said mirthfully. It would take something like a DSRV with a soft seal to hook on to the Triax sub's hull or escape trunk, to be boarded. Or else those things coming at them would have to tow them back to the mothership with either a moon pool or a docking well for anyone to use the front door. She didn't know much about the horune, or what kind of magic they used. Chances were if they had substantial magic ability as she and her other animals learned, they could teleport aboard.
"Don't let yer guard down, though, Soc. They may use some hocus pocus on us."
She studied the sensors one last time before being posted to a gun. She tried to get a read on what was coming at them, their speed, propulsion and maneuvering, and characteristics. She also gave the Triax boat's weapons a study.

Socrates grinned under his helmet. "I'm not worried." He said, evenly. But, he didn't move. He was tracking the magical objects using his psychic senses. Mostly, he wanted to know if they were creatures or a machine.

Getting out into the water and using claws to rend the enemy limb from limb beat a turret, but Janxi took some comfort knowing she would be on a turret to give the idiots chasing them a reason to regret it.
She didn't know exactly what the sub carried other than a pretty big gun up top, some torpedoes, and maybe some cannons facing front. She looked at displays in the control room to figured out what she could shoot. She knew more about turrets in hoverjeeps and tanks or even patrol boats than subs, but they all shot about the same.
She was in the same boat (pun intended) as Socrates, and didn't know anything about the Horune. She wanted to know what was coming at them, a sub, a sled, or swimmers, and just what they could do. She looked over to the sonar screen to get an idea of what was coming at them. It would be much more fun to come at them in the mud near the bottom, and shoot them, use her claws or plant a bomb on a sub's hull. Explosions underwater were cool. Shooting holes in an enemy sub or his diving suit would be good enough for now.
Weapon systems [dice=100] needs 50 Read sensors [dice=100] needs 35
"Anyone comes in through the front door, siccem, Socrates!"

Realizing that if they get attacked in the sub he doesn't want to be shooting the rail gun off, Richardson moves to his gear and secures the weapon pulling his plasma shotgun out. He makes sure it is loaded and waits to see what happens.
