The guy takes the money. "I'll leave right away, I won't tell nobody nothin!" And he tries to squirm away, leaving his binoculars and gun behind.

[Dante and Kris]

To Kris she says, "Oh, I think money is an object, I just have a different impression of scale."

Dante can sense her greed, she really is motivated by money, though she tends to think of it in increments of a hundred thousand of more. She has other more complicated emotions below the surface, but it might be that even she herself doesn't fully understand these.

Akane lets him go but before he gets away. "If I find out otherwise I will hunt you down myself and it will be over for you. That much I can promise you!"

She is not serious on the hunting down as she does have faith in his reasons.

After he leaves using her flight spell still she returns to Tiger with the gun and binoculars. Putting the gun down beside Tiger she takes the binoculars, "Well at least now I can watch too."[rand=4469464851477254925953164983890233971272429005456250340399328886]

Khris shrugged out from under the massage and stood up." And I think your delusions concerning your value will get you in trouble some day. You'll never get the money you want, but the group I represent can teach you how to use the talents you have as well. I doubt your bosses in this place will. I mean, my friend and I are merely paying customers so we are of little concern, but I doubt they know what you're capable of." He made no attempt to hide his threat, nor was there any intimidation involved. He looked at Dante," Come on, I think we're wasting our time here. There are plenty of other candidates."

[Dome]

Dante stands and smiles as well he reaches down and picks up her card between thumb and forefinger. He holds it in front of her and says, "We'll take your card, but I wouldn't sit by the phone waiting if I were you."

The card simply disappears from between his fingers (teleported to his pocket). He ads, "your obviously very intelligent, and of course beautiful. I have no doubt your talents are also grand, however all that is wasted here. We can help you develop into something great, and we can also help you understand yourself better," he says with a knowing look on his face.

Turning from the table towards Kris he says, "lead the way out. We've wasted enough time here."

[dakota]

Khris looked at Dante, flagging a waitress long enough to steal two drinks from the full tray she carried. " We're out ogf her line of sight, but let's give chance to set in." He offered one of the drinks and sipped his own. "We take our time leaving. If she's interested at all, she'll come after us. And if not, we have plenty of other names unless Tigger wants to try a different approach."

He kept his extra senses working overtime despite the slight impairment from the alcohol as he took a sip from his glass.

[Dome]

Dante turns down the drink, he says, "we're not out of here yet, I don't want to risk anymore impairment incase we have to deal with something. maybe you should text the boss and see what she says about this."

[dakota]

Khris nodded, but still drank his own, " Suit yourself. " He took out his phone and typed in ...

Contact made. Greedy, wants more but won't give price. another team recruiting too. We walked on negociations, but not far after giving food for thought. Orders?"

He hit send , but in his altered state, accidently sent it to the entire team. When Dante's phone chirped for a received message, Khris grinned," I, uh, wanted to keep everyone in the loop."

*snorts and half wakes up as her phone starts ringing. she pats herself looking for the sound of her torment and grumbles at the straps.

*by the time she's awake and free of hte straps the phone has stopped. 'who the **** texted me? .. god i'm wiped .. i'm go .. Aah '~thud~ 'did i say **** already? man i'm tired ... here it is'

*reads the words and wonders "what the heck?" *she hits a few buttons .. then hits send

you woke me up for that? walk and tell him to stuff himself out the nearest airlock. in fact you can join him too

*that said, she simply closes the eyes and remains on the floor .. once again asleep*

Tiger responds:

Walk. Lets roll out.

But she doesn't send it to the whole team.

[dakota]

Khris looked at Dante, then let him see the phone's display. " So much for waiting to see if she comes around. Lead the way, bud, I've had enough of this place."

[Dome]

Dante starts walking out of the bar, as he does he reaches out with his mind and says to the prospect in her head, 'Thanks for your time, we have other recruits to see.'

As they walk out he says to Kris, "explain something to me will ya? If our goal, and the goal of these other organizations is the same, to stop these creatures, why are we competing and not just pooling our resources?"

[dakota]

"You're asking the wrong guy." Khris replied with a shrug as he kept pace. " Politics I guess."

Akane stays with Tiger even if she jumps down or stays up there.

[albatross]

Tiger jumps off the roof and drops a few stories before planting on a nearby building and leaping down a few more stories at a time, moving lightly.

She waits by the bikes for Kris and Dante to arrive and when they do she says, "You can tell us about it on the way. Let's hurry back to Jeckle and Strongbow and make our way to our next stop."

Akane follows suit and jumps down from the building. Waiting at the bikes till everyone is ready to leave.
