Captain America springs forward on his powerful leg muscles to deliver a leaping shield bash to the door to help Daredevil trip it.

Daredevil's kick slammed off the robot (dmg?) just as Tally's energy blast zapped it. Then as Cap slammed it low it began to teeter, enough that it was off balanced so Tabitha was able to seize the chance to eascape. She pressed upwards against the foot, and the combination of attacks caused the Doorman to fall backwards so hard that it shook the stronghold with the impact. But it didn't stay down long.

Gambit grins again. "Cherie, how can you not know the powers of Gambit, hein?" He says, the leer transforming into a suave grin. "'Dey say he can talk his way into a lady's heart before she's heard the words."

Captain America rolls to his feet and prepares for another attack. "Keep the pressure up" as he winds up his shield slinging arm.

The woman seemed to relax, studying Gambit. " You know if I wanted to, I could just teleport out of here." She said softly, under Remy's charm.

The Doorman was back to it's feet long enough for Tabitha to wind up and plow it with a haymaker that staggered the 12 foot robot backwards with a fist sized dent in it's chest. " the rest of you gonna help or what?"

Tally unleashes another blast against the robot having momentarily phased out of it.

"Oh, now." Gambit says. Lifting the wrist with the device on it, he lets out a disappointing sigh. "A beautiful woman like you deserves not to be shackled by such a common thing." He says, sadly. "It just builds a wall between us."

His other hand still gripped her cloths tightly, as he stepped a little closer, for added effect.

As both Tally and Cap hammered the Doorman robot again, it's focus shifted. It swung it's arm ponderously at Cap [dice=20], it's heavy fist hammering down to the floor to shower him with chunks of the rocky surface. At the same time, the eyes built into the robot's 'chest' seemed to focus on Tally as they started to glow red, Even as Tabitha vaulted past Cap to shoulder check the robot.

" That? That's just a communicator so Lady Mandarin can reach me." The woman was more than under Gambit's spell as she leaned into towards him with her lips pursed.[rand=0716633083138647596658566646527918331594637016964006887347139860889]

Daredevil knows his strength won't be much help against the creature but maybe if he can get his hand on it he can figure out its weakest point. He takes a running start, adds a back flip and attempts to land on the robot. He then reaches out and tries to find the weakest spots in the metal.

As Daredevil crouched atop the Doorman, he could tell the seams in the chest weren't as strong as the rest of the body. Cap's shield hammered home again, and the robot was starting to show structural damage. As Tally's blast struck the Doorman's eyes, it returned fire with a pair of energy beams lashing out at her [dice=20+2]

Tabitha moved in to slug the robot again, but she didn't see the massive backhand sweep in behind her as she connected, and was drove aside hard enough to put her into the wall. "Ghostsabre? Are you alright?" Cap asks as he swings again at the creature, aiming for a knee joint.
