Updated Combat chart using R:UE, since it seems to be the new black, or should I say, grey.

And yeah, no picking on Tori, she was "cloned this way!" It's not so much what happens when you toss her up, it's when she lands. Cats always land on their feet, and if she alighted among a bunch of rats, we'd see the fur go flying in all directions!

Don't worry, with all the bonuses cats get, there was hardly any way NOT to make a badass.

Dice roller works like this. Don't use the quick reply. Hit reply under the last post. Under the add tags toolbar on the Post Reply screen, you'll see a D6. Click on the D6. You'll see a string in the message box that reads [ dice=6 ]. (spaces added between brackets). Change the 6 to whatever you want. a 20, a 10, 100, whatever you need to roll. You can hit preview to get the result, a hit, a miss, pass a skill, fail a skill, and can add your reaction to the post. I usually point out Natty 1's and let Dak tell me what to do, and double damage on Crit 20's, unless told otherwise.

Sorry for the short and tardy posting lately, mostly on my phone, (especially this last post). Things were getting hectic for a while (working 12 hour days and taking care of the mother parental-unit after her knee surgery). Things are back to normal now though so my posts will be better.

Best of luck to your mother. My fiancee's mother had both of her knees replaced a few years ago. She gets around well now. Mine will probably be titanium in a few years.

Just a quick note, since this has come up recently, I'll clarify

when PC's are speaking in a foriegn language, for simplicity please post it in { } brackets and change the font color, then put a note at the bottom of the post to identify what language it was spoken in , such as:

Note: { } denote spoken in Spanish

For pc thoughts, write in italics to identify this

For telepathic conversations, use italics and quotations, and changing font color also helps

For muttering something under a PC's breath, use subscripts

<sub>For shouting, use bold font

Just checking for my IC knowledge. What is the Coalition's relationship with Free Quebec right now in your campaign? I've been playing Tori as if the war happened, and the CS recognized FQ's independence after Quebec sided against Tolkien, as indicated in the books. She doesn't like FQ and still considers them to be a rogue state. Given the identification of Quebecois in the last hop as friends and allies, and use of the Sky Hawk, I want to be clear on this.

Also, could you clarify what year this is and how far removed from the Tolkien war we are?

You've been playing the timeline correctly. FQ is currently seen no differently than NGR by the CS, an asset and a like minded state with ties but not part of the CS. The Skyhawks will be explained in game at some point too.

Hey new to this, play-by-post but I'm not new to rifts, on the games list it looks like there are still openings availible for pc's. So I guess this is where I start? I'd like to join up if possible. and if I'm asking in the wrong place, I do apologize.
