Troubloeshooter, Power Armour, Arcadian, Windchill, Tharsis and Sock-Puppet-Man were all gathered in a meeting room.
"Well, golly gee!" SPM says, the sock puppet back to its squeacky chipper voice. "Did we ever see a to do at the Regault offices. But, heavens to betsy, you actually met up with McPhee?"
"Yes. Though Arcadian would be the better to explain it." Troubleshooter said, turning to Arcadian.

"I managed to talk him into allowing me to fund his research. That way we can look into the plans for what Dorsette is after and find a lead into the case hopefully." he took a drink from a bottle water which seemed to appear out nowhere," It gives us a business cover..So we can operate with money and have a visible source of finances."
"Seems Dorsette and McPhee disagree on how his technology and research should be used. I suspect that is only a side effect. The cause is is what I'm more concerned about. I heard the words Government contract. Makes me think we might have some political or Financial power houses involved. But after seeing Para...rather Col. Chaos summon the worlds first mutants from exile. I tend to get a little over cautious."

Turning to Windchill, Tharsis and SPM, he says, "What did you find?"

" On the surface Regault looks clean, but Socky picked up on some shady goings on." Jamison replied. " They claimed not to do unnecessary cybernetics, but Socky says a patient had just come in off the street." He shrugged sheepishly," I missed it."

"Well, goodness me, Tharsis. He was under a breathing mask, wasn't he?" SPM answered. "And, by heavens, is it ever so odd they would be offering such... services to people who just don't need it? Also, it seemed the poor fellow was being talked into some nifty kind of adventuresome work, too."
"Like an experiment?" Troubleshooter asked.
SPM's socky head nodded curtly, the little plastic eyeballs jiggling a little. "Also, the new surgeon was there just at the same time another left."
TS looked at Arcadian. "McPhee, I suppose?"
To the group. "OK. Who wants to connect the dots?"

Mc Phee and Dorsette are either good actors or rivals if thats tha case. So we have a company making Cyborgs or heroes. We need to know why and who.."
"Mc Phee has some cybernetic technology, real good stuff according to him. He also said Dorsette wanted to use it for some reason that was not on the level." he pondered, "If Mc Phee is pulling a rabbit out of a hat..then it could be him." he nodded.
"Which ever one it is...We need find out." Arcadian thought about the manufactured Metahuman projects of his world..Multitude, and the others that were geneticly altered to serve the Slaughterhouse Seven. If a Cyborg version was being made here it could be real trouble.

Miranda nods as she says "And this new surgeon brought all his own equipment from home apparently, which seemed odd to me." She then falls quiet as she listens to Arcadian's thoughts on the whole thing.

"So, we have a new surgeon that show up at Regault that has higher-level equipment." Trouble Shooter says. "And he comes just after a difference of opinion on patent rights that causes McPhee to leave. And then Regault - or maybe just Dorsette himself - starts trying to track down McPhee to get the technology."
He takes a deep breath. "And this new surgeon is performing tests on subjects, right? But, did you get any impression about Regault's budget for that? It sounds like something they'ld need to pump a lot of money into."

" From what we saw, it doesn't look like Regault has any money issues at all. Just the upkeep for all that tech has to cost a fortune." Jamison replied. " Is it possible MacPhee knows enough about the side projects and that's the real reason he left, or maybe he came in before and his tests are the real reason MacPhee left?" He through out his ideas for the others to consider.

"Regault is doing something it shouldn't... or has something to hide, at least." Power Armour says.
"Right." Troubleshooter says, with a nod.
"Well, golly jumping jimminee jee!" Sock Puppet Man said, its shrill peppy voice contrasted with the words. "It is ever such a bad thing that people would pretend to be helpful but really are only selfish. Such big mean little fibbers!" After a second, he continues. "I think these silly people need to understand the importance of good moral behaviour." A judge's wig and gavel had appeared on the sock as it spoke.

"That my Cotton blended compatriot is what we will do..Your sure your not a magician?" he ask sock puppet man.
"We need proof of the illegal Cybernetics...some way to trace it. Is there any companies in town that would sell cybernetics and robotics to such an operation? they might have the proof we need..." he shrugged.

"Maybe they dump the failures?" Power Armour asked. "Don't they do that? I see it in the movies and stuff all the time."
"Well, it's better than nothing. I guess we look for a bunch of dumped bodies..." Troubleshooter says. By the tone of his voice, it still seemed weak.

" If that's something we could use, wouldn't CSPD have picked up on it by now?" Jamison asked. " Or maybe they already have. Is there any way we can check police records to find anything that matches. I doubt anyone at Regault would use a single location, but it we find reports of a body here and a body there that have cybernetics, we might be able to trace them back since we know the starting point. Or even figure out the next dumppoint."

"It should be worth a try." Troubleshooter says. "We'll place a call with Karson."
......
A few hours later (time for lunch, break, chat, training and such), Karson had arrived. "We have a good list of disposed-of bodies. A few were cybersnatches, but nothing that looked like just nano-tech."
He put a folder down on the table. "We have one weird string of deaths though." He showed the photoes of the zombified bodies. "Coroner's still working on them - we have about a dozen, now - but it looks as if the body was simply overworked and drained. But no stims were found."
