Expanding on Jon/Bo's similar thread, what are some of your favorite RPGs other than palladium products.
I haven't had a very broad role playing experience ( played a handful of times IRL) and mostly using palladium products. One of the only non-palladium games I have gotten to play IRL and liked was Shadow Run, though it was just a learn to play Shadow Run game at origins this year.

I think I gave the same answer in the other thread, but my faves are almost anything Palladium ( except N & SS and Recon, and I'm not a big Robotech fan, but I have some) and West End Games Star Wars (D6)because I grew up on Star Wars and I'm addicted to it.

well I've play quite a few games in my short life span(thanks to a friend that owned a hobby shop). I have to say I love the Rifts world. By far it is the best I've played. I like the system but they have their quirks like any system and there are some major ones that I still have problems with, but yeah. My favorite system would have to be Dreampod 9's Silhouette System. Its basically like Star Wars D6. Same basic concept but a lot more skills and options. It has a few flaws which I've seen and gotten quite upset about, but over all its awesome. I'm in a forum that has been orking on converting Rifts to the DP9 system.. They say its been working but I haven't been about to test play it because lack of players. Most people don't play "Pen&Paper RPGs" so its hard to find a crowd willing. All in all I like DP9, but Rifts has the best most indepth world. I'm trying to find more people willing to convert it to DP9 Rules and test play it.... So you should check out that game system... They have the games: Heavy Gear, Tribes(never played), Jovian Chronicles.. and some others. Check 'em out if your looking for a really good game system.
