Alice raises an eyebrow at Lon as she notices him staring at Beth and Tom. Keeping her tone light, she jokes "Didn't anyone teach you that it's also not polite to stare?"

" and didn't anyone explain to you it is rude to try to read someone's thoughts?" Lon grinned as he got up from the table without saying anything else and returned to his seat with Greed. The two had a brief exchange before Greed looked over with a smile.
Beth nodded and went towards the buffet tables as Tom rolled towards Alice's table. Avi hung over the ring and motioned the pair of them closer.
On the other side of the ring, Mario looked out at Sasha as Desolation was being loaded on a stretcher to remove him from the ring while another group helped Ryne towards the dressing rooms. " So, now you know. Am I fired?"

Tom sees Avi waving him over as he goes, keeping his eye on Beth.

Alice frowns, as she sees Greed looking over with a smile, wondering what Lon had told him. Seeing Avi wave them over, she goes over and asks, "How are you doing?"

Avi leaned over the edge. " I'm okay, but there must have been something in that water. Ryne never should have lost like that, and now I can feel something isn't right too." He glanced over to Sasha with Mario. " Someone better check on Ryne though. His powers aren't as strong out here as they are on land. Didn't he tell you that?"

Alice blinks as she shakes her head. "No, Ryne didn't disclose that little bit of information." She looks mildly peeved as she adds "He should have." She sighs at Avi staring at Sasha and says "I'll go check on Ryne." She has the urge to make a snarky comment about Avi staring at Sasha's ass, but refrains as she heads over to where Ryne is.

Avi realized he had said something he shouldn't have. " Wait, Alice. I didn't mean..., he's still a tank on two legs, but the big lug gets even stronger when his feet are on solid ground if you can beleive that. I've seen him take a grenade to the chest with only a grunt, that guy's punches shouldn't have fazed him." He glanced acrossed the ring again.
someone from the crowd shouted, " Hey lady. Take your gimp in the chair and sit down. You're holding up the show."

Alice look around to glare in the direction of the voice and then turns back to Avi. "He still should have mentioned it." Shaking her head, she says "I'll go check on him and see how he is doing." She then steps down and heads over to find Ryne.

when Tom got back to the table, he caught notice of Beth looking his way with a slight grin. the problem was the young man with Greed seemed to be trying to figure out who she was staring at.
As Alice headed for the change rooms, a large guard stood in the doorway. "Sorry, no access without Mr. Greed's approval."

Am I fired?" “Why?” Sasha asked looking at Mario. “Have you done something at my bar that would require me to fire you?” She crosses her arms in front of her chest. “Despite the results of what has happened here and if I approve or disapprove I cannot fire you for this. I may frown heavily upon your actions and endangering yourself but I am not your mother.” She looks over to Avi and the others before looking back to her tender. “Look, Win or loose Mario, you have to do what you have to do. But do not kill my friend. Despite outward appearances I do still maintain an attachment to my emotions.” She fixes him with a firm gaze. “Do I make myself perfectly clear?” ((OOC, I apologize for not getting back to this last week.)) |
