Balus stood at the viewport for a couple minutes, contemplating what had just transpired. He considered going back to the lounge, but thought better of another run in with the Epochs, and decided to head back to his quarters for a little downtime.

Mechanical Engineer - 55/[dice=100]%
Computer Operation - 65/[dice=100]%
Computer Repair - 50/[dice=100]%
Spacecraft Mechanics- 65/[dice=100]%
Krystal arrives on the scene. She starts by using her mechanical engineering to assess the situation, then checks the computer and just to be safe checks to make sure the computer does not need repair. When thinking it does not is when she goes directly to the main drive.

Your results show that the aliens could really only operate in much colder climes - perhaps the polar regions of Seeron or some of the colder planets in your home solar system.

With some efforts from the rest of the engineering group, the FTL gravity drive is up and charging using the planet's gravity well to power the system.
(Balus)
You return to your bunk and get a good night's rest.
(Fuse)
You get informed by the XO later that the Captain's decision for the moment will be to ferry some of the exiled aliens to other worlds, possibly on Seeron, when new FTL ships come online
