*in the hallway by the kitchen Sierra finally stops listening and realizes that for team unification, people have to stop hiding from each other. with her background that makes total sense, but for these others, it won't happen anytime soon. with a faint sigh she enters hte kitchen again.
'seems if you can't fight or aren't taking courses then you're not worth a lot of attention from him. but thats how i read him before. i never had to fight before either, so its all greek to me. i grew up thinking i was just strong and Bubba used me as a chew toy and didn't think about it until i came here and did a flying header into a building. Ask Tyler about that sometime.
'i tend to keep to myself, because i had to learn on murdered chicks how to control my strength. but it was better the chicks than some non family member.
*she glances at Tom when she talked about him then focuses her attention on Deci for the remainder. 'i had a large family, but i lost most of them in a big fire. for all my strength, i couldn't help them. watched them burn alive in front of me. but i'm still alive and i have to work harder on making sure that i'm doing the right thing to try and make up for their lives.
'this is why i don't like moving about without long sleeves in front of people .. i'm covered in scales from the neck down .. an accident years ago, but it's not important. and i really wish you good luck with the others. they're about as open as a can of beans when it comes to talking to the group as a whole. i use the early mornings to train so i don't loose my edge. might never know how to fight, but i'll remember other things from my earlier life ... '
*she hops up onto the counter where her meal is still waiting and resumes eating again, but this time she takes off the long sleeved shirt and resumes eating, arms and belly showing from the lither smaller sports top she's wearing

In awe for a second at Sierra shares her story. Seeing she jumped up on the counter Deci assumes that she does not want a hug! "Wow, what happened to you does suck. I mean to lose your entire family. Mine just refuses to be in the same room together but I could not imagine what it would be like if they were no longer living. My apologies." At which point she drops it as in a way her taking off her heavy top also signifies to Deci at least that she just managed a new level in self acceptance.
"You know Sierra, if you want someone to do stuff with I would be happy to go along for it. I have met only a couple of people here so far, but none I have talked longer with then you, oh wait maybe, what was her real name again?" She pauses trying to remember Angel's real name "It made her sound human.....Oh yes it was Sara or something like that. But I do not see us hanging out or anything. But you did say you liked movies and I said earlier I would go hang for some fun, seeing I am guessing you are closest to my age as well!"
Then it dawns on her how rude she was being to Tom, "Oops, I am sorry Tom. I have a tendency to get sidetracked easily!"

*Sierra finishes her salad and sets her dishes in the sink. 'its cause of these that i don't like touching people ... or have them touch me. no offence Deci. i was shedding something fierce earlier, but i think its cause i was surrounded by Meta's where i never was before ... so ... ' *shrugs and then opens the fridge to grab a can of pop and opens it up*
'people think life is easier elsewhere. i just know i had a blast growing up. not all my family and friends died .. maybe about 75% of them. but then .. not many people live in a traveling circus'
*that said, she simple sips at the pop and wrinkles her nose at the bubbles and looks at Kristian and grins at him with a shrug* 'if 'they' missed it .. not my fault .. ' *resumes watching the others now and has plans to go work out in the gym again

" We're all played out, Tom." Kristian said as he snuck a little closer to Sierra. He looked at Deci and smirked," She doesn't mind some people touching her." He looked back at Sierra and gave a kiss on the forehead. " I do some of the smaller healing for the team, but nowheres near as powerful as Avi or his friend Sasha. And Tyler is better at it than either of them. I also turn change into a crystalline form that protects me."
" Quit it," Tyler warned, filling a bowl," you'll make me blush."
" Don't start, Sarah. You're timing is aweful." Mac replied, standing up. " Have you two met?"
Ryne shook his head, " No."
" Sarah, this is Ryne, he's transferring here to the Miami team." ryne gave Mac a bit of a look at this, but said nothing. " With your experience, they could use your help too, if you're willing to work under me again. Of course I can't tell you exactly what that bad news is without you agreeing." Dylin grinned manipulatively.

Ashley nodded," Maybe Mac will give us some time to recooperate a little. even a day or two would be nice. I can't see it happening though." She looked at Isamu and grinned," I thought you were gonna check in with Alice?"

"I noticed there are a lot of healers. I should not need any of your services as one of my other abilities seems to be an enhanced capability for regeneration. Never had a chance to chart it's capability though."
She then turns to Sierra again. "And like I said if you ever want a partner to do stuff with, I am totally free."

" You can't be too sure, Deci." Avi said. " We run into another Nullifier and your healing doesn't kick in, you'll be glad to have one of us handy to speed things up." He looked at Sasha knowingly. " there's been a team in Miami now for over a year, but most of that team was the one that was in Atlanta. "
Kristian shook his head," Not unless you think supper is pressing, mon." He grinned.

'having someone to train with would be awesome. guess i start to early for these other guys tho. even after my shower most of them are still snoring. old habits of training for hours hasn't left'
*Sierra looks at Tom then suggests to Kristian with a poke of a toe 'hey .. leave the guy alone. he wants to be by himself. bonding over food and making friendly talk can wait for his friends to come back. i'm not in his league, so i gave up trying. life's gotta suck if you're stuck like him and ambulatory when using his powers. don't worry big guy, i won't stay sad for long. the final layer of stupid is gone and i gotta live with what i've learned'
'thanks for coming Sasha. you helped a lot ,, both here and there ... ' *she slides to the floor and comments 'want a tour of the gym Deci? .. i'm headed that way ... i need to burn off some energy'
