(OOC: When you hit reply, there is a little dice icon in the 'Add tag' option - at the end of the second row. Or you can type the code into your reply. For instance [dice = 20] is for a 20 sided dice. (without the spaces)

As everyone turned to face the Brood, there was a noise of something moving past down the elevator shaft.
" It's a sleazoid," Tabitha said," the foot soldiers of the Brood. There will be more, maybe alot more."
The brood was now in striking range ( Cal goes first, then Blink and Gaby)

Blink tossed a blade to disorientate the target for Gaby. Silver Samaria was a stickler for team work...

Deadpool's blade sliced into the demonic creature, causing it to howl in pain. [roll dmg]
the creature struck out wildly with a slashing claw towards Cal ( roll vs 11 to strike, or take 9 dmg)
Tabitha moved up to ataack it as well, but she instead vaulted over it to put herself between the others and two more of the creatures. " Okay folks, playtimes over. finish so we can get out of here."

Gabrielle smirks at Tabitha as she replies "But I was just getting started." To the creature, she says "She needs to have more fun with her work." (Damage from first strike: [dice=6][dice=6]=6) She then stabs at the creature again.

Cal misses wildly, nearly hitting blink. Henry pressed forward, and struck out with a solid kick to the sleazoids head that seemed to stun it. (blink, then Gaby's turns)

Seeing as Gabby did the most damage she figured a brief displacement of the beast might stun it. Like what she did to rogue when She tried to stop Mr. Creed from going to Indiana after Holocaust.
Just start to port him and hold it from working long enough to stun this sleazoid so Gabby can finish it off. It would likely work best if she briefly contacted it. A blade strike should do even if she couldn't damage it the stun should stop it.

Gabrielle shakes her head with a smirk at Cal's attempt to hit the creature with her eyes closed. "You usually have better luck hitting your target when you leave your eyes open." she advises Cal as she goes for a strike to the head of the creature, remarking to Tab "No, you did not mention that. "

As Blink hit and Gabrielle nearing losing her balance with her wild miss, the creature reared up to strike forward at Blink, and then it sort of paused, held in place by Blink's unorthodoxed attack.
" Uh guys, we have a problem." Henry Pym said from behind them. Two more of the sleazoids had appeared at the other end of the corridor, cutting off any exit.
Tab had to go intangible to avoid her attacker's strikes. " Everyone down the elevator shaft. We're soon gonna be in trouble."
