" That's... complicated." Dmitri hesitated. He paused for a moment to reply a hello to someone that had come in the room with him before continuing. " We're federal. It's an offshoot of Homeland Security to deal with our own kind from what Avi explained. Called NSCA. I hadn't heard of it before they recruited us." He paused a moment, before turning serious. " We don't kill, Sasha. Not if we can help it."

"Well, nice to know you're not a black ops group," she muses over the phone. "Obviously this isn't a good way to carry this conversation. Why don't you send Avi and a few others over here at some point, that way we can talk face to face. Or I can fly by your place."

" Not sure when Avi will be back, but Isamu is here. He's running the show." Sasha could hear the transmissions from Dmitri's band-adio faintly while he spoke. " And we just got some company here too, so we may not be able to leave ."

"I believe the term my bartender Mario would say is 'Handle Yer Business," Sasha says over the phone. "I'll be in touch." And with that she hangs up the phone, depositing it neatly in her purse.
"I'm a retired cop who is nigh unkillable," she mumbles. "Why didn't I pay attention more in the hand to hand course. I could handle this problem alone if I were better trained."

" Uh yeah..., later." Dmitri had sounded suddenly distracted as she hung up. On her monitors, the bar was starting to fill up, mostly students from the college campus. For whatever reason, they were out early. Amongst them though was a familiar face. Nick's girlfriend was caught in the crowd.

"Well time to go say hello to Nick's girl," Sasha said standing up and stepping to the door. "I'll need to give the girl his severance pay for injuries so she and Nick won't have to worry about income while he gets better." She puts on a smile as she opens the door, becoming a people person again, as she closes the door to her office she steps towards Nick's girlfriend.

Jenny looked worn down, but she still managed to smile when she saw Sasha. " Nicky wanted me to come by and thank you for everything. We aren't sure how we can repay you for taking care of his bills like that."

"Then you're in for a bigger surprise," Sasha said handing over the wad of cash she'd won betting on Avi. "Till he can make it back into work," she says. "I don't expect him to do anything but get better and not to strain himself." She offers Jenny a seat. "I feel horrible that this happened to Nick, and I'm working to resolve this so no one else gets injured like this. How are you holding up?"

Jenny's eyes got even wider. " We can't take this Sasha. I.., we.., no, everything is okay. He should be coming home in the morning. We've, uh, " she grinned impishly," decided maybe it's time that we get a little more serious. It'll be easier in my flat than up all those stairs to his place for now. We'll see how it goes from .., Hey!" she snapped as she was nearly knocked over by two patrons getting a little rowdy. They ignored her.

"That's good to hear. I wager he's going to be feeling like a baby for a bit, so you'll need to just deal with him," Sasha says grinning slightly.
Sasha stands up and snaps her fingers pointing at the two rowdy customers. "You two," she snaps loudly and authoritatively. "Settle down or leave."

Jenny took a step back out of Sasha's way. The two college kids looked at sasha and scoffed before ignoring both women completely and going back to thier rowdyness with their friends.
From thecorner of the bar, another new face, this one much older. had taken an interest from behind his mug.

Quickly annoyed Sasha turns to the taller of the two before tapping one gently on the shoulder to get his attention. "Pardon me," she says. "I gave you two an order. As the owner of this bar, I am telling you to leave before things get out of hand and someone gets really injured."
Bracing for the worst Sasha begins to recall her police training, bringing it to the forefront of her mind so she can manhandle one of the two to the ground. She looks to the Tender on duty and motions for them to be patient.

" Look, ma'am, we're just trying to enjoy the game." The smaller guy pointed up to the television over the bar. The Marlins were playing the rival team from Tampa Bay, and were beating them sounding going into the seventh inning. A closer look at the two ' rowdies' showed that the other three with them were all wearing Tampa Bay hats or shirts, and were looking far less enthused.

Sasha glowers at the two rowdy men and points at their seat. "Sit," she says as authoritatively as possible. "And try to keep control of yourselves. There are other people here who wish to watch the game." She stares at the two men for several moments before dismissing them and turning back to Jenny. Her stern face sliding away.
"Sorry about that."

Jenny shrugged it off, " Your place. Gotta keep the peace. Come over and see Nicky when you get a chance, he'll appreciate it." She said with a smile.
The older man at the bar smirked as he watched events unfold, all the while sipping his drink as he watched.
