As Sierra, Isamu and Solomon are about to arrive at the holding cells, a bright flash came from the room. As they enter, the room is empty. Sierra can feel that they are gone and Solomon recognizes the work of a teleportation spell.
" You don't understand, Alice." Jason replied, thinking twice about pulling away, " I... I dunno, maybe. Look, I'm not putting everyone else at risk because of my boogeyman. This guy is vindictive, and if you get involved, he'll try to kill you too. same goes for everyone." He shook his head, " I'm not gonna be responsible for that. I'm going out to the cabin. If you really want to help, come with me."
" Attacking your bartenders?" the man seemed a little confused as he looked at Sasha," I did nothing of the sort. I am guess tha the inspectors haven't been here yet, what with your vermin issues."
A patron in the corner booth let out a shriek, " A mouse!" The little pest scurried along out of sight at the commotion.

'well .. they're gone. good and bad i guess. bad cause they're both still loose .. but kinda good i guess .. cause i got their 'chanty feeling' in the head. and can point out the one that helped'
*Sierra turns to Solomon* 'you say you have a group or a bunch of your type that gets together? .. mind if I tag along this time to get them in the head too?. that way IF one of them was just here helping him, then you know you got yourselves a mole or something and explains why that one you first had was sneaking off all the time before you got there. oh sorry. what do you think Is?'
*she gives him the attention that is the ringmaster without a moment's hesitation

"Ah, yes," Sasha said bringing her cellphone from her purse and activating the picture portion. "She and I spoke yesterday." She holds the phone up. "Smile," she says calmly taking a picture of the individual. "And I already called the police, and spoke with them about how you wish me to close down for having no prejudice against mutants. I also made the inspector aware of it as well, she told me to call her back at any time," Sasha continues calmly producing the card from her purse. Sasha motions to the back of the club. "Do you want to talk in private and perhaps discuss this like adults... or should I call the police for vandalism and have you charged by the full weight of the law? Which is quiet a bit I might add." Looking to her two employees on shift. "Call an exterminator and have them swing by first thing in the morning, tell them we have people dropping presents of the furred and vermin kind and would like to set up a monthly cleaning. And also put it on the to do list to make sure to double the insurance on the bar." Looking to her patrons. "A free round on the house for my customers. This bar isn't closing because of prejudice now or ever." |

Alice is quiet for a few moments before nodding. "All right." she says "I'll come to the cabin with you. We should get some supplies before we go so we can protect ourselves though. And I'll tell Isamu that he is going to be the acting leader." A weak smile appears, "Somehow I don't think anyone will be unhappy with that. It's not like anyone really respects me as leader anyhow."

Isamu says, "We will have to discuss the situation with Alice, but I do not see any other options at the moment. Professor is it possible for Kristian and Sierra to join you? I am sure your group prefers to remain away from the public eye and no doubt prefers its privacy. However, I do believe that it is critical for all parties involved to locate Fielder and those aligned with him."
Turning to leave, he says, "let us go back to the conference room."
Once there he taps his comms and says, "Alice, can you please join us back in the conference room, we have had a development."
He says to Janie, "is there any footage of Mr. Fielder's cell prior to him being freed?"

The man wasn't impressed about having his picture taken, but merely shrugged," Go ahead and call. Not quite sure how you'd fingerprint a mouse, even if I had touched it, which I haven't. But I'll chat I suppose."
" You got it boss." came the reply from behind the bar, filling glasses for the elated customers, none of which were willing to pass on a freebie because of a mouse that had disaapeared under the office door.
" There should be. I can go check." Janie replied and headed for the war room.
Ashley and Kristian re-entered the room, with Avi in tow," No signs of anyone on the grounds except this misfit just arriving."
" Thanks Ashley. Glad to be appreciated." Avi scowled.
" I've got everything up there already except some clothes." Jason replied, " and Ty already restocked the pantry according to Trevor. Problem is Tyler took Felicia and maria to her parents in Alabama and won't be back until next week. at least he's safe that way though."
He heard Isamu's call and sighed, " Stop that. You're doing a great job considering the bunch of misfits you're stuck with. Go tell Is the good news and I'll gather up some of our stuff." He kissed her and smiled. " You know..., we might get some quiet time alone this way."

(ooc: only Solomon's astral form is present. unless they can see the invisible, they would be unaware of his presence. Sierra might be able to sense him, but it would probably be as equally unpleasant as the morgue)

A weak smile appears on Alice's face as she shakes her head. "I wish I could believe you, but it doesn't feel that way." Returning the kiss, she says "I'll be back in a few moments. promise you won't leave without me?" She then heads back to the meeting room to see what was going on.

When Alice enters the room Isamu says to her, "Alice, Fielder has escaped. Sierra detected another person like him prior to his disappearance. I asked the professor some questions, but it seems he is sleeping, or perhaps in a trance. Sierra suggested that she go with him to the next meeting of his group to see if she can identify one of them as Fielders accomplice."
He pauses a moment and looks at her and says, "What do you think?"

'could sworn he was right there. really weird. but .. how could he be in two places? .. ' *her comments are to Kristian's back. upon seeing the others, she simply goes quiet and looks at the ground. maybe if she doesn't look at them, they'll forget she was making strange comments

Alice nods at Isamu and replies "That sounds like a good idea." After a moment, she says to Isamu, "May I talk to you for a moment in private, please?"

Isamu stands up and says, "yes that would be fine."
Isamu stands and follows her out of the room, and when they find a private room he says, "I was hoping we could speak. I think you are doing well in the responsibility thrust upon you as leader."

A tiny smile appears on Alice's face and she sighs. "While I appreciate that, I think we both know I'm not doing that great." Shaking her head, she adds "I saw you cringe earlier in the meeting. I wanted to tell you that I think it would be better if you took charge of this." Alice is quiet for a minute before adding "What message did Mac send you that you didn't seem to want to talk about? Was it about me? Does Mac want to replace me?"

*Sierra looks across the table at Ashley and asks bluntly 'why is it that i'm being told to not spar with you? .. i think it would be a great way to learn how to work as a team. if i'm out of line just tell me, but i'm getting the impression that while i know fully how capable i am and how hard to touch or hold hands or something i'm not being trusted to not hurt anyone about me. i've squashed my share of chicks by mistake growing up when i was 8'
*she sits down and waits for a response while Alice and Isamu are out of the room
