Tom's flying zombie misses it's companion, but Alice's TK knocks the second one flying as Solomon's shot echoed through the abandoned building. With some fiddling, the lodged casing was ejected and dropped to the floor.
Solomon could still sense Fielder where he had been even as another bearlike roar from Ashley echoed nearly as loud as the shot. Either Fielder didn't care, or he was in the middle of something. However, Sol could feel that they group had gotten the attention on many more undead, that were making their way towards Tom, Alice and Jason.
A low voice came from the floor," Could you keep it down, some of us are trying to sleep." Jason groaned, trying to sit up against Alice's hand on his forehead.

hearing Jason, Solomon breathed a sigh of relief. "no rest for the wicked, I'm afraid. where's Ash when you need him?" he sighs. "we need to find your friends quickly. I sense Fielder, but the fact that he hasn't made an appearance yet worries me for their safety." Solomon calls back to Alice. after clearing his weapon, he decides it's time to to bolster his defenses and calls upon the arcane forces at his command to protect him. (Armor of Ithan, 10 PPE)

Alice sighs in relief as Jason stirs and nods. "I know we have to find them. That's what we've been trying to do." She tries to get Jason's attention as she says "Wake up! We're not at home! Do you remember where you are?"

Isamu who had been momentarily stunned by the sight of the walking dead, finally snaps out of his shock. He asks the professor and Alice, "can either of you sense their location?" He stands with his back to the group and prepared to protect them from anything that attacks.

" On the ground, beneath you." Jason replied, opening his eyes with a smirk. " That really hurt, Tom. Next time warn us."
The pair of zombies were getting back to their feet, and down the corridor, alot more were coming to join them.
Ashley roared again, and everyone could tell it was , of course, beyond the zombie hoard approaching.

Tom meekly says to Jason "Sorry. I screwed up. I'll make up for it later, first, we've got some other things to deal with. We got to get thru this load of...whatever they are." Tom struggles not to identify the creatures. "to get to Ashley and Dmitri. I'm going to grab whatever metal I can to make us a flying wedge to break their ranks. Once I've got this, the rest of you bust through and go find the others. I can handle these things."
Tom gestures, trying to gather what metal is available for what he wants to do.

There was lots of metal in the pile of rubble beneath them Tom soon felt, all of it usable to him.
" Let me up Alice, I'm okay. Really, just a bump on the noggin and winded a little from breaking your fall." Jason said, then activated his band-adio," Isamu, get you stony butt down here and help Tom clear us a path so we can get your girlfriend out of here, would you? If they can't hurt Tom, then you should be okay too. the rest of us aren't so lucky." He looked at Alice and forced a grin despite the situation," Yes, the team leader should be making calls like that, but I can get away with it because I'm your faithful sidekick."

Alice smiles weakly at Jason and wonders, not for the first time, why she got put in charge when it seems clear she has no idea what she is doing most of the time. She moves to the side and tries to see if she can sense where Dmitri is by reading his thoughts.

"I already told you, they're zombies" the professor replied nonchalantly after finishing his spell of protection. "Alice, is it?" he calls below. "I take it you're some form of psychic making mental contact with your friends? can you read my thoughts?" as he jumps down onto the pile of rubble created by Tom's attack, which he estimates at about 5' high, making his jump only about another 5' or so down. |

Tom waits for the professor to get off of the pile of metal before hurling it all in a massive volley at the zombies with a wave of his hand. "Boom" (19 to strike)

Tom's ball of metal slammed the approaching hoard like a wrecking ball, scattering them to the hall floor. Some of them begin to get back to their feet. As the ball slammed to the other end of the coridor, it drew another roar from Ashley. Getting to his feet, Jason shook out some of the cobwebs. " Wow, meat bowling."

Alice starts to head in the direction of the roar, using her telekinesis to push any zombie in her path out of the way. "This way!" she calls out to the others.
