As Tom transformed, the corpse continued it's approach. He could feel nothing metal from the corpse, except for some fillings.

Tom takes a deep breath, grabing any loose metal from nearby to form a barricade.

Solomon soon finds that Earl Fielder has had a checkered past. He had worked for ambulance services, a mortuary, and most recently in the medical examiner's office. All of this after being banned from practicing medicine for several malpractice cases. Not bad for only being 30 years old. He had also serviced in the army (where he got his medical training), but was dishonorably discharged, no reason given. thinking aloud again, "Medical Examiner's office, the morgue the girl mentioned. it's down to the morgue or the mortuary." Solomon gets addresses and maps for both locations, and goes with the one that 'feels' right from his vision. far away and to the north. |

Sierra shrugs as she looks in the mirror with a small half grin.
'not sure .. just know there was one. don't think i've felt the power before .. but then .. that's something new for me. but its not one we've run into before .. so i guess its safe to assume that is not the one we're looking for now.
'gonna mark down one was there on the list? .. not sure what good it will do. they may have sensed us going by. but it wasn't that spooky 'chant-y thing like back in the morgue or with that other fellow from earlier .. he had cant-y about him .. but not the creepy nightmarish type .. i just don't want to run into that totally evil nasty whatever it was .. that scared the *censored to remain PG-13* outta me. sorry. i think i picked up on someone's bad habit .. but it was really freaky'

Tom finds plenty lying around to barricade the corridor. After a moment, a slow, rhythmic pounding of fists began on the other side. Jason looked at Alice and comforted," I don't like it anymore than you do, but... ," he stopped as a blood curdling roar echoed in the deserted corridors, muffled only by distance. Jason's eyes went wide, " That's Ashley." He glanced at Tom. " And she's not happy."
" You and Jason had me freaked out." Kristian said, " Neither one of you wanted to be in there. I think that's the only thing you two have ever agreed on." He smirked, then glanced at Isamu, and spoke with a teasing tone" You should have saw them, mon. I bet they would have crawled up that elevator shaft to get out of there."
As Solomon tries to decide,it occurs to him that Fielder worked mainly in the southern part of the city, except for the hospital that he had been in when he kicked out of medicine. A quick check however comes up with that hospital being shut down after a new one was built, and it was now slated for demolition in the spring.

Jason shook his head, " I'm staying put. We know they're here somewheres, now we just need to know where. Alice, " his voice softened, almost comforting, " can you reach out to Ashley or Dmitri? Dim might be a better choice from the sounds of things."

"Not by yourself you won't." Alice immediately replies before contacting Isamu on the radio. "We found Ashley! We need you guys to come back to the hospital right away!" She then tries to contact Jane and tells her "Where is Avi? I think we need all the help we can get!"
Alice then nods at Jason and says "I'll try." Alice then tries to send out a telepathic thought to Ashley or Dmitri saying 'Ashley? Dmitri? It's me, Alice.'

Janie's voice was a mix of trepidation and releif. " He had to go help someone, didn't tell me alot. why, is something wrong?"
Alice's message found Ashley, but her full blown rage was out of control, blown out of proportion by her being restrained somehow. No small feat considering her strength in her bear form. There was no chance of any sort of intelligible response.

"Well, Jane," Alice says "while we have found Ashley and Dmitri, we've also found zombies. So I'm kind of thinking we need all the help we can get!"
Alice shakes her head at jason and tells him "Ashley is in full blown rage.l I can't reach her. She's being restrained somehow which is why she is so angry."

As Isamue hears Alice's call he looks at Kristian, "did you hear that? Let us head back there quickly."

A quick check however comes up with that hospital being shut down after a new one was built, and it was now slated for demolition in the spring. following a hunch, Solomon checks the address of the old hospital to verify that it's north of their previous location where the abductions took place, and if it pans out, heads for his bike to make his best time there. on his way to his bike, he calls Ridgemont on his cell and relays the info. "I think I found Earl. <gives address> I'm on my way there now to check it out. if you don't hear back from me send in the calvary. whatever he's into, it's sounding bad, and if it's as bad as I think, he'll have to be stopped at all costs." |

Ashley's roars continue from somewheres deep inside the hospital. Jason had a torn expression ," We can't leave them in there. We gotta go help, Is and the others can catch up!" He argued. Despite how thick Tom's wall was getting, the hammering from the other side was still there.
" I will contact the others and let them know what is going on. Be careful, Solomon." Ridgemont replied. Luckily, traffic wasn't that bad, but he had a ways to go.
" I heard, mon, hold on." Kristian replied as he accelerated down the empty street and through the car into a hard U-turn, it's tires spinning and drawing the attention of curious onlookers. " Sometimes being an ambulance driver has it's advantages."
