* Jeckle slips out and hunkers by a tree about 10 feet away, just out of sight hidden by the jungles foliage and settles in for a long night of monitoring scanners. she would have gone over with the guy's but she's unsure if she'ld be welcome. she's more familiar with 'Tech toys' than dealing with people. so she remains on her own.
*she judges she has about another 6 hours to remain alert then can go back to her tent. or at least someplace to get a shower and some food to give the impression of being someone that had a poor night. good thing she'll have her pad to mark down brief notes about things. but before all that? .. she must remain alert to watch the scanner and will 'text' the others if and when she sees movement on the monitor.

Tiger shrugs, glancing at the white tiger loping beside her as she responds to Kris, "It is a risk. There may come a point where we could need to fight him or the dragon. And now the dragon is bigger. Still, if we make our moves without information we will be fighting blind. His familiar grew and advanced in power - learning more about that process will help us accomplish our mission. And we did help him out back there - he could end up being a big help to us. An acceptable risk, agreed?"

Dante leans against the tree shuffling and reshuffling his deck of cards. He looks around the area to make sure everything is clear.
OOC: if it is still dark out he will reactivate his night vision.

Khris nodded, and spoke Khamai's name to summon the chameleon. He looked at the camoflague of the lizard for a moment before he spoke," Agreed, but you know how I am with new people.He might even make a suitable replacement for me on the team."
Khris cleared his throat, hoping he could recite the speech he had been planning to recite for some time now. * Jeckle keeps her mind active by scanning the are about her and then checks the scanner. done every few inutes, she's sure she won't miss anything that happens. she has no clue who or what the new guy is, but the fact he's got a 'dragon' and it was large as was the snake gives her mind a chance to wonder.
*her mind replays the actions of the woman. the snake fought, and she was untouched and the weapons fire went through her. does that mean one can press their personality or ego into the ring bonded one? .. or are they tied up with each other forever? and the death of one meaning hte death of the other? these things fill her mind or a portion of it and allows her to remain that much more alert for anyone finding the cave.

Tiger turned to face Kris and her eyes looked startled maybe even a little afraid, but she kept moving, in the same quick smooth way Kris had seen her move in combat and sparring. Kris didn't even have time to blink before Tiger leaned in, closed her eyes and kissed him.

Dante continually keeps an eye out until his time on watch is up. He calls out to Steelfist and says, "hey metal head time to switch."
As soon as Steelfist is awake he makes his way towards to where Jeckle is setup. He says to her, "hey Jeckle you should have been resting I was on watch. The tin can is on watch now. Why don't you try and get some rest too?"

*Jeckle looks up and grins* 'i'm still good. i'm used to long hours did a 40 hour stint building .. working on something Heckle tested and found wanting. its back in the truck .. i'm good for another 5 hours, but it will be light by then .. '
*her voice is low and quiet and barely even heard when she looks away from him to the monitor. then she almost laughs about something. 'good thing i have a tailer truck to haul my stuff. its big and roomy. we're gonna need it' her fingers rub the ring on her hand lightly and she returns to watching her monitors

Khris was caught offguard by Tiger's advance, his vacant stare making it obvious. but it was soon replaced by a have grin as his eyes met Tiger's," What was that for? I'm not complaining"

As soon as Dante calls out to him he comes alert fully and starts making a circuit around the cave area. Keeping an eye peeled for any sign of danger or trouble. Using his full advanced optics to make sure that he can see well.

Tiger slips her arms around Kris and rests her head on his chest, as she is fairly short after all. "I care deeply about everyone on my team, even the team's I've served with in the past. They are like family to me. Patriot is a brother-in-arms, nothing less, nothing more."
"I'm not sure I could have said that right with just words so I had to act... because the truth is I've wanted to spend time with you and walk with you for a long time, but other things always seem to get in the way. I was afraid I was going to miss my chance."
"I'm always thinking about you, but I've tried not let it show on our missions. And there never seems to be any in between time. When you asked me for a kiss in Century Station I thought I'd get my chance and I was hoping to pay you back in the cave but..." She trails off realizing she is just rambling.
"It was to say how I feel." She says finally. She looks at him, her eyes playful now, "Again?"

" Are you kidding?" Khris replied as a wave of releif washed over him. This time however, he was prepared and returned the affection. When they finally broke, he looked at Tiger in surprise, " I never would have guessed. I tried to reach you, I even left you some messages hoping you'd answer when I needed someone to talk to after I lost it when Crosshairs ..." Even after the time had passed, it was still difficult to talk about his first and only protoge's death.

*Jeckle hands the scanner to Dante as she stands up and then squats once again before standing up. 'legs cramped. just watch it for a moment. please'
*she rubs her eyelids and then answers 'honestly, i don't know. but for me? .. i'ld like to think its a part of me that was missing. sure i make 'toys' but they are used to kill or to steal from others. that's th purpose for tehm. and to be honest, people confuse me. K seems to .. bring me in touch with the dreamer i could be. like, he's there to show me a new way to think and a reason to make things .. but thats me and him. it could be a need or yearning that we need to get filled? .. don't really know.
*she looks at Dante again and then shakes her head 'well .. i think i talked enough for now. i should get back to watching this scanner.
