a@Dakota: I dont know; I'm not sure the falling out was really serious tbh, its just that a difference in GM policy created a misunderstanding imo in a certain game (ofc thats just based on what *i* know, my info on what happened could be incomplete).
that been said, i didnt have a problem with the way you were GMing me and Doc's(iirc) case, maybe it wasnt my preference but i was certainly having fun (maybe these other people had problem to adapt to different style? i had a problem when GMing them too, despite that ooc we're OK)

Guess it depends on which side of 'misunderstanding' you're on. I usually see profanity laced tirades as serious.

But seriously, the true problem with spates and what not on the internet is that no one takes a moment to remember there is no tone or body language on the internet yet. So misunderstandings are common. I know it happens all the time over on EU.
