Not sure if I'll be around this weekend or not. Hurricaine Earl is tracking for us and all the projections are showing a really good chance we're going to take a catagory 2 head on, so if I go MIA for a few, everyone knows why.
of course the storm track could shift, so this is just in case

Best of luck. I went through a few in Florida. Stock up on bottled water, batteries, booze, beer, chips and canned goods. For us, the booze was the most important. Oh, charcoal is good too. You can always barbecue the meat in your freezer if you lose power. Come to think of it, hurricanes for me and my buddies were a lot like parties. Best of all, no work!
Hope you stay safe. We'll be here when you get back. Liz is in New England and has a chance of getting schwacked too. May the storm miss you both.

you have hurricane trouble? where do you live? Yeah, that's the joys of being this far out in the Atlantic here in Nova Scotia. Good news is they usually loose alot of strength before they get this far up the coast. Bad news is they are now predicting Hurricaine Fiona is going to follow in hurricaine Earl's tracks, and if it does, it could gain strength and give us a real double whammy. I sure as hell hope not Thanks for the advice Tori, but I've been playing storm roulette for 36 years, we got essentials down pat now. |
