*He looks over the people in the room and strides over to Troubleshooter, Power Armor and Miranda* "Afternoon. I'm R...Revenant" *extends a hand*

[Renekin Skywalker]

Troubleshooter shakes the kid's hand, being professional. Withdrawing his hand, Revenant sees the guy's business card there. "Troubleshooter. These are Windchill, Power Armour, Sock-Puppet-Man and... The Inquisitor, I suppose?" He says, looking at Quin.

*Puts the card away after looking at it briefly* "Nice to meet you"

[Mierin]

Miranda shakes Revenant's hand and replies "G'day. I'm Windchill"

[doc]

"Windchill? so you have, like...cold powers?" *Shakes back*

[Mierin]

Miranda smirks back and replies "Wow, you figure that out all by yourself? Can't get anything by you, can I?" The sarcastic tone lightens as she says "I have also abilities with fire."

"I see..." *Backs away slightly* "yeah, I haven't tested the wetware for temperature extremes, so I'll have to be careful around you. Don't take it personally."

[Mierin]

Nods with a calm expression "No offence taken. Though I do not damage equipment when I'm in this form. Only when I'm actually in fire form."

"Seeing as this equipment is in my brain and interlaced with my internal organs, you can probably understand my concern" *steps back closer* "So, what brought you in?"

[Mierin]

Miranda nods "I can understand that, though if we're going to be working together you might want to get the testing done soon."

Shrugging, Miranda replies "I wasn't doing anything so I thought I'd check it out."

[Renekin Skywalker]

With Revenant and Miranda/Windchill chatting it up, Troubleshooter leans back, relaxedly. Power Armour starts idly flipping through the mannuals and Sock-Puppet Man was thumbing through the "wanted" lists.

Eventually as things die down, a fellow in a professional suit walks in. "Welcome to the Caveliers recruiting seminar." He says, with professional joviality. "Now, if we could all take some seats, we can get started."

Sock-Pupper Man's socky head lifts from his perusing to pay attention. Power Armour and Troubleshooter do the same.

Revenant nods at Miranda's comment.
He takes seat once the suit walks in next to Miranda and Troubleshooter

[kurff]

"nice to add a face to the voice," taking a seat beside PI if he can he nods. He didn't plan on meeting up so soon, but was eager to secure a new contact.

He then paid more attention to the man in the suit that walked in.

So, all are seated... the half dozen of them...

"Good." Says the saleserson. "I am Lieutennant Karson, of the Caveliers branch of CHIMERA. No, I don't have super powers like you, except maybe a super personality." Not even Sock-Puppet Man took the bait on that one. Karson picked up like the failure of the joke was the point. "To continue. You six have arrived here at a very opportune time. Because Operation Overlord has kicked into gear, and will surely succeed when every citizen of Century Station gives their all."

"The become a full member of the Caveliers requires a few things. First, when the city calls, we need you to answer. We cannot not leave each other in a lurch. Second, your focus will be humanitarian work as well as super crime. CHIMERA's decided that now's the time to move into the more lawful-challenged parts of the city."

"Where you fit in: We need you to back up the police and Sector 10 in anti-gang operations."

"Third, you are the law, but never above it. Remember that, always."

"Your group will have to choose its own name, but for now, you're all Group 6."

"Questions?"
