With more left in his purse than he thought, D'fel returned it to his belt and tucked it beneath his cloak before continuing on to check out the shops. He glanced around before walking towards the nearest vendors, carefully checking their wares without getting too close for fear of startling them. [tag]

Falbera looks up at the childs face and says, "No thank you, I will find my own way."
As she pushes past him and looks at the city she stops abruptly, "perhaps you can point me to the local inn. The city seems larger than I expected," she says.

(D'fel Shimmra, shortly after Falbera) Spotting the odd one he was curious about Dragon man. Kurff was wondering if it was really a dragon in human guise. He'd heard tales of dragons able to take human forms. Dorian, his former Gang leader in the Wild boys, was known to pull the hide over peoples eyes. So the youth decided to find out. Approaching he spoke as clearly and calmly as he could.
"Uhm excuse me, But are you a dragon in human guise...?" he asked careful with a slight inflection of nervousness, "I mean no insult, of curious. but you a appear to be dressed as a monk and doesn't seem very dragon like..." he finished with look of confusion on his face.
"oh and if you need a guide I can help you..." he offered confidently.

D'fel looked at the young man and shook his his head with a toothy smile, " No, I am no dragon. This is the only form I have. You need not be frightened, I will not harm you." he said in a warm manner. " You're offer if kind, but it is difficult for you to guide me when I don't know where I want to go."

" Surely you'll need an inn to rest at or supplies perhaps other things not so easily acquired?" the boy was relieved. Kurff saw himself with an apple in his mouth on a spit for second. the young rogue was certain he was not be the "dragon-man's" next meal.

D'fel raised an eyebrow, examining Kurff. " You seem to have a knack for reading travellers. I am in need to replenish my supplies, and if I can locate one with low rates, prehaps a place to stay." He smiled again, careful not to bare his teeth too much. " I suppose this is the part where you will offer to help me find the things I seek for a few coins?"

"A simple meal and an apple will good enough payment." the young boy spoke with a brief bow, "There is this inn on that street, 2 blocks, its a big stone building. One the top rated Inns in town.
"I'll fetch whatever supplies you need and see they are delivered to you myself.." he added with a sense of pride and reliability.

(Derik) The guard nods, satisfied. "Thank you, sir. Have a pleasant stay." He then moves to the side and lets Derik into the town. (tag)

Derik nods politely.
"Thank-you. Sorry to have been a bother." And he heads inside, figuring he didn't need the money from the caravan so badly, since he was now inside the gates.
And, into town he goes!

" I suppose I can accomodate that price." D'fel nodded in agreement. He motioned the direction Kurff had indicated. " Lead the way then, my new friend. First allow me to drop off my things and then we will visit the market and have something to eat. My name is D'fel Shimmra," his name rolled off his tongue as though it was a poor translation, " what am I to call you?"

Seeing the dragon-man and the young boy head into town, Derik figures he has very little to do until the can tract down the local contractors' association. So, he will figure out where the boy is taking him, and set himself up there.
Additionally the boy might know some useful people in town.

" I'm Kurff, local thieves and other kids call me 'Slip Shadow'. my old Mentor called me that and it stuck. This way" he motioned during this season getting rooms is easy. next month the Inns will be busy due to caravans and traders coming through town. right now we're getting those trying to beat the rush." he commented as he leads through streets and around the people. Kurff kept an eye out for thieves and beggars as he moved avoiding them if he could. after this was HIS customer and that dwarf was likely to be as well once she realized he knew this city better than her.

" I see. It seems I am fortunate to come when I have then." D'fel replied, following his guide's lead. " You do not have to rush, I am in no hurry, Kurff. Why such a peculiar nickname?"

As D'fel and Kurff head to the inn, Derik follows quietly (kurff and d'fel, roll perception to see if you notice that someone is following you)
As they head to the inn, another newcomer enters the town, a human female with long wavy blond hair, wearing a long grey cloak that disguises her figure and carrying a quarter staff she was using as a walking stick. Anyone nearby will hear her quietly give out her name as Shayla Doireann and that she hails from Phi Islands in the Eastern territories. Once she is admitted into town, she had toward Bobbi's Bar and Grill to get something to eat. (tag)
