"Logan and I? Foster parents? Together? I shudder to think at your upbringing!" Kurt flashed his fangs. "And I see that you have a sword - did you learn correct techniques from me, or did your 'Pappy Logan' try to teach you that Kendo nonsense of his?"
Cyclops took a moment to look at Wolverine. "It's...good to see you again, Logan. Stop by any time - you know you're welcome at the Mansion."
Emma sighed at the response from Blink. "Suit yourself, dear." She turned back to the plane before Simon's words stopped her. She looked back. "...I suppose even having an actor of your caliber speak out on behalf of mutant rights would help our cause. Slightly. Hopefully."
Hank grinned. "...that's about as close as a compliment from her as you're going to get. Accept it."
"Wait, you're dating that guy? Can we retcon it as my being an over-protective daddy and call it even?"

"Not really foster parents, but you were running Professor Xavier's school." She replied, then smiled at the mention of her saber. She drew it, and then offered the blade for Kurt to inspect, "You taught me, just as you taught my mother. This was her sword. Logan taught me less refined ways to fight, and how to swear while in the thick of things. Perhaps too well, I've made my uncle Mikhail blush." She chuckled

Blink nodded and looked to the Avengers so where do find this person? guessing it won't be in a bar. That is how every DnD game with Morph began..." she shrugs.

Kurt carefully examined the blade. "Impressive. Though, I suppose it is a difference - in this timeline, your mother learned about swords from Logan, though I've tried my best to correct her." He gave a smirk.
His head turned as the X-Men's Blackbird's engines hummed to life. "It would seem my ride is here. Will you think on what I've said?" He opened his arms for a hug.
Scott nodded to Logan. "It has." He boarded the jet.
"You are a one-of-a-kind talent, Simon." Beast smiled. "Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'll call you about that night out." He winked.
"So...the X-Men get to capture the bad guy and...I have to do the paperwork. Unless...?" Hawkeye turned to his teammates.
Songbird raised her hands. "NOT IT!"
"Nuts. Sorry, Blink, who are you looking for?" The Avenging Archer tried to change the subject.
"Fine, but I still want you to call after every date." Deadpool turned to Wolverine. "Hey, Logan? Want to come kill some human traffickers with us? The person who kills the least number of goons has to buy the beer!"

"I will, but Cap has made a pretty good shoulder to cry so far, almost as good as yours." Tabitha smiled through herself into Nightcrawler's arms with a relieved smile, then gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm glad you don't try the goatee thing like like the Mr. Wagner I grew up. Thank you." She let him go before walking him out , "Maybe between Logan and I, the Avengers and X-Men can have a better relationship than I've seen in a lot of other dimensions. Not that Emma would like that."

"I thought we were supposed Locate a guest for Storm. My bad." she shrugged, "guess that health scare distracted me more than I thought. Unless I am needed I'm heading to the mansion to change out of this outfit." she opened a portal to the avenger's Mansion and steps through.
I do need look up something though. She did need an edge...but what? Emma was right about armor. It would help but only when worn or undamaged and a good team was important too. A team was only strong as its weakest link and this weak-link need to get stronger. Looking up the Weapon X program was a no go. Same with other groups that boosted powers. Perhaps training with Valkyries in Asgard? Mystic Training? The only other option was weapons or martial training which lead to finding a trainer and back to square one. Another aspect might mental preparation.

Nightcrawler returned the kiss on the cheek. "Until next time." He made a slight bow before teleporting out.
Atlas shouted as he entered the quinjet. "Hey, you OK? And why am I smelling smoke and...sulphur?"
Songbird shrugged at Blink. "I think Storm was asking Wolverine, not the whole team. Let's get back to the mansion and get you patched up."
Hawkeye patted Simon on the back. "You need a ride back or you want to fly on your own?"
"Wait, we're getting dates? Does that mean yours is coming too?" Deadpool asked Gabby. "Because I'm pretty sure that he's still a lawyer, and I'm not sure he's going to watch the very bad things we're going to be doing to these people. Some of which will involve placing grenades where grenades should not go."

Thanks for trying back there, I just need to beat it thru my head that those Kitty and Piotr aren't Mom and Dad, no matter how much I want them to be. I bet I scare the hell out of them." She smiled, though it was obvious fake as she made eye contact, ...or tried to, "Eric? You eyes are wandering." She chuckled, but made no attempt to cover up her bikini.

Probably, I have to occasionally remind myself this not my home or X-men." she shrugs, "I like the idea of living in one reality. but still weird it is not my home. At this point Hank would remind me "home is where the heart is" or quote Shakespeare on me." she shrugged, "He's probably right too." the woman grinned. then goes about her business after ant needed treatment.
