"Well, you guys have fun." Tabitha said, trying to ignore The Asgardian paying far too much attention to her and Gabby, "We'll just hang out here and twiddle our thumbs. Ghostrider, don't let them get themselves caught." She turned to Fandrall and rolled her eyes, "Tell me Asgardian women don't fall for cheesy lines like that." She smiled.

Gabby blows her bangs out of her face in an exaggerated manner. "Bored now! Why did we even get dragged up here if we can't be part of the fight? I could be hanging out with my Boo!" She perks up a little at the Asgardian's question. "Oh the tale of my awesomeness is long and fascinating!" Gabby then starts launching into her many adventures, showcasing all the awesome quips and moves she's made, barely letting anyone get a work in edgewise.

(Spider-Man and Ghost Rider) Hawkeye, Spider-Man and Johnny Blaze materialized where the treeline ended, before the base of a mountain, at the mouth of a cave. They could see a pair of sentinels dragging a giant sized sword - their mechanisms clearly straining under the weight of the thing.  "OK, I admit I sometimes take a nap with Thor's telling his Asgard stories - to be fair, most of the time he's on his 8th barrel of mead when he gets to them - but I'm pretty sure anything with a sword larger than my last apartment building is probably a bad sign. We need to get back to the others." (EVERYONE ELSE) Thor clutches his stomach. "I feel a flame in my stomach...something burns." Atlas suddenly springs up to his 20 foot height. Songbird glared at him. "What are you doing?" "I didn't do it on purpose. I'm just...I'm feeling a flux of energy." Fandrall hung on Gabby's every word, a smile on his face. |

"Yeah, I'd say we definitely scouted and there was definitely a sword bigger than two Sentinels. That's an Avengers Assemble if I've ever heard of one." Spider-Man looks around to see if there is anything else he can notice, but otherwise waits for transport back to the group.

"Flux of energy...that is not good. Thor, are you going to be okay?" blink added as she turned from gabby to Thor and gets near but not too close to him. Perhaps something in the air or a field created to weaken the Asgardian defenders? If so they were in trouble..
"I hope that blood transfusion I had to get rid the phalanx virus doesn't react like that in me." the mutant thinks as she awaits an answer.

(Spider-Man and Ghost Rider)
Hawkeye had already nocked an arrow. "Nope - now we signal for the calvary." He fired it away from the mine. "So, who's up for some sabotage?"
Johnny could feel the fire in his gut - something about that giant sword reeked of the same hellfire he knew so well...
(Everyone else)
Thor rose to his feet. "I feel...the fire of Surtur - bringer of Ragnarok...the Twilight Sword is near."
Songbird raised an eyebrow. "OK. That would be Surtur's sword, I"m thinking?"
"You speak correctly." Lady Sif spoke. "If these foul mechanical men have the blade, then we must hasten our pace."
"Magic? Nah, it's Ionic energy..." Atlas hissed. "Some kind of...surge."
Songbird looked to Atlas. "Maybe this magic sword has some kind of ionic properties, then?"
An arrow bounced off of Atlas' hide and fell to the ground. Once it did, a small speaker cracked to life, speaking in Hawkeye's voice.
"Hi, you've reached Hawkeye the Avenging Archer. If you can hear this - Blink, teleport everyone here right now the Sentinels have a giant sword and I think the time for stealth is gone now."
