She watched as the blip caught up a bit then stopped. She didn't know any further what to do. As Windrider started to cause more wobbling and such she put one hand out to brace herself about the same time that the music blared. She turned her head to see what was happening. As the monkey poked his head out she lowered her hand in an offer for the monkey to come to her if it so desired.

The blips seemed to return to their position after the erratic movement for a moment. Wes pointed at the screen and sounded the alarm. " Here they come!" Indeed, the blips were closing fast, and two more had joined them. From behind, the La Mish shuddered and a pair of SAMAS screamed past just as the second pair opened up. Alarms began to ring from the console.
" What's going on up there? the engines just hiccuped and threatened to crash!" Chaz shouted over the intercomm.

Kat replies to Chaz on the comm "We've got company! Two pairs of SAMAS are chasing us. It seems they're not very happy with us."

"Well... I guess we don't have time for games... and it's not Naruni who's upset with us." Windrider says. "Time to speed up." With curiously smooth acceleration, the transport was already at maximum speed. "Fire on the SAMAS and keep them off us." He says to the others in the cabin. "And buckle your seatbelts."

La Mish sputtered as it accelerated and came up to full speed. Wes announced, " They're staying with us!" another shudder from behind shook the craft just as Chaz appeared in the doorway bracing himself for balance," We're not gonna take much more pounding like this. Windrider, can you find us a place to put down before they knock us out of the sky anyways?"

"Sure." Windrider says and pushes a few buttons. In a heartbeat, the pilot had stopped the transport dead, then cut the verticle thrust allowing the vehicle to drop 40 or 50 feet before gunning the engine in a 180-degree flat spin, bee-lining it for the pusuing transport. "I spotted a place back this way." He explains.

As they start to move in for a landing, Kat finds a seat and straps herself in just in case it ends up being more of a crash landing.

" Are you nuts?" Chaz exclaimed as the craft turned to face the SAMs. Wes managed to score a hit on one of the power armor, but the favor was returned as a crack appeared in the windshield.

"Nope. Just smarter than them." Windrider says, starting to do mad levels of evasive manouvers at the tree tops approaching the other transport. "Get ready to shoot up." He says calmly, like he was driving Miss Daisy to the Piggly Wiggly.

Justice sat still in her seat and slowly and calmly strapping herself in as the vehicle moved sporadically. She was not good with vehicle gunnery and so she sat quietly. Gasping as he turned the La Mish back towards the incoming enemy.

"This is gonna suck..." Wes seemed to sing in a whiny tone as he looked at his targeting screen. " Chaz, do you have insurance on this thing?"
Taking a seat of his own as the transport closed on the others, Chaz replied," Shut up, Wes."
" How about hazard pay?" Wes added as the La Mish shuddered under another barrage of rail gun fire. " There's no way we can keep this up much longer."

"I can pay you with hazards, if you wish." Says Windrider to Wes, sounding strained and doing math in his head. "But I'ld rather you focus on the people shooting at us with our guns instead of talking."
When the time came, Windrider did a dive under the two transports. "Shoot anytime."

" What do you think I'm doing?" Wes replied, frustrated," Chaz, you need to upgrade the weapon package on this crate. I can't work with substan..."
Wes was cut off by another hit to the hull that caused La Mish to shudder. A klaxon began to wail as the transport started to lose altitude. " Windrider , try to make it as soft a crash as possible!" Chaz shouted over the alarm and ducked out the door. " I'll see if I can do anything!"

" Yeah. Buckle in incase I can't fix this thing and keep us in the air." Chaz replied as he disappeared into the engine room.
The ship sputtered and skipped as the engines threatened to quit.
