29. Freedom Station.

A monitor in the lounge lit up. The Pistol Whip the Losers will be docking in a few minutes.

"We need to go before they dock." McKenna said. "We can stick to your idea, and hopefully find a way out of this." She took a last look for the departed shuttle, waiting for Mengsk to lead the way. " Worst case, people are always looking for our skills, right?"

[kurff]

"That was my thought..let's move then might be best if we blend in...we can sort that out once we are out of here. Guard or Maintenance staff outfits might work. they get overlooked.." he nodded as looked for means out the lounge that was safe.

The only exit was the way they came in - being a door. The air lock is sealed, at the moment.

""We blend in. What are you talking about?" McKenna mocked as she went to the door and looked out.

"As in we look like we belong here. like we are supposed to be here....hide in plain sight. If we can find smugglers or a cargo that is uninspectable. If you have any ideas I'm open to them." he responded with a grin to her mock.. he looks around for anything of interest in the room. He also sends a call to a more covert ally to find a way off station. Smugglers were a good option. If a bit risky..another was a shipment vessel from a company with cargo that was hard to scan or 'closed' to inspect by customs.1d20·1d100·1d100

The Lounge is empty, except for the two of them. Incidentally, due to its Crumple Zone nature (and something McKenna would know as a Freedomite... Freedomtite. The one that grows upwards.) the lounge would soon be sealing itself off from the rest of the station until docking was complete.

Mensk's call was answered by a brief "Seriously? I should turn you in for the trouble you would cause." followed by the tell-tale blacking out of a screen where a call is hung up.

"Come on, I know a place to hide out." McKenna replied once Mengsk' conversation was over. "No one would ever expect me to go home. We can figure out a plan from there." She suggested, opening the door and checking if the coast was clear before heading out.

[kurff]

"Sounds good. to me." he nodded, "Pretty sure I can find someone..but I need time and we don't have that now. So I like your plan." he agreed and followed.

Crowley docked the ship at Freedom (not near the others), and let her off.

"Good luck," he said, as he closed the airlock and departed.

No-one was walking the halls, except the usual light traffic.

Looking back at Mengsk, McKenna beckoned for him to follow, "Come on, we're leaving. It's about a thirty minute walk there if we take our time. Hopefully they're happy to see me." She added flatly as she started to leave.

Kalissa enters on to the station but not before giving her uncle a hug. "Thank-you very much." She says as she boards.

It is at this point she looks over all the data she has on her people that she is to help.

Outside the lounge
The hallways are not congested with security people. So, it is easy walking out of the spaceport section.

Docking Lounge Q42
All Kalissa has are an apartment address, a hotel address and the four names. Her father kept their pictures so that she would not get caught with them. But she would not have a hard time know if she saw one of the faces.

Kalissa reviewing the choices decides that if there is a hotel address she can likely head to the lounge so she can see if she can catch up with them or hope that it has a view of the comings and goings in the hotel.

With the corridor fairly clear, McKenna walked calmly though keeping a look out. She turned back, waiting for Mengsk, "Are you coming or what? I want to get out of here while the coast is clear."
