Sylwia confused by the person saying this triggers her own transformation leaving the shield in place until she is sure what she is dealing with in front of her. She also does not want to blast willynilly with all the innocents in the area and hatches an emergency plan to that affect.

" I don't know if fighting them is a good idea, they tangled with another group called the Masters od Speed a few months ago in Kansas and left a small town to waste and nearly killed three of them before leaving the speedsters in a heap for the authorities to take in. All over they went after the same depot at the same time. We might be out of our league Tom." Jason was driving a little faster, and his comments sounded odd considering he had gone toe to toe with Ragnarok.

The security guard glared at Sylwia as he backed away from her. She could hear a faint comm transmission, " Howitzer, report. Are you comprimised? Shrike and Heatseeker are standing by if you need support."
The big man continued to depart, "Negative sir. Situation under control at the moment." He sneered at Sylwia, "Do the smart thing and don't follow me girlie." He continued to depart, watching her.

Beth replied quickly, "Sure Long, I can do that no problem. I'll have it ready as soon as you return."
Ashley spoke up, "We'll be at the mall in two minutes. I better get us down to street level." It was then Long and Calvin could see how fast they were really going. Ashley began to decelerate as she lowered to ground level, still well above traffic flow speeds, "Do we have a plan when we get there?"

"First order of business is to locate Jesse Custer. We know he's in the mall with the last 'eyes on' a couple minutes ago. We need to cover every entrance to the mall and from there we can triangulate their radio signals."

(OOC - Trying to get as much as possible done before vacation.)
Sylwia does not back off but moves forward, "You no go. You obviously involved with people and I am not going to do as you say. Please stay here!" She is now glowing but that being the only difference in her looks.

Alice shakes her herself out of her reverie and turns to Jason. "While I want to review the scene before doing anything rash, why are you hesitating? It seems out of character for you." Alice asks this in a gentle tone of voice, not wanting to start an argument.

Ashley nodded while focusing on the road in front of them as she turned into the mall parking lot. "So split up? There are at least five entrances."
"No" Isamu said adamantly.
"Is, relax, I won't do anything but look." Ashley tried to calm him

Sylwia floats up higher and glances back at Gabe to see if everything is ok there. "Gabe?" She questions as she scans but makes sure she can keep an eye on her quarry which is why she floats into the air.

As she floated, the man now identified as Howitzer continued to leave. Gabe did not reply where he lay, and at this distance, she could not even tell if he was breathing.

"How about if we have our fliers take a position high enough to watch over an entire side of the building? Do you think it would cause a panic? How is Trevor feeling now?"

"Darn it." She says as she heads to where Gabe is and turns around so she is best protected. "Gabe not be dead. I help save you!" At which point she makes sure she is as safe as possible and drops her shield but not her APS form. "I hope this work!" She says as she grants him a copy of her APS power. She is not sure this will work when she is in her light form but hopes it does.

Calvin is mostly quiet for the remainder of the ride. When they arrive, and Ashley informs Alice, Calvin steps up. "I agree that we need a plan, if these guys are as dangerous as all that." Turning to Long, he notes "If I fly up high enough, I should be able to see anyone leaving the building from any point - so long as they don't hug the walls."

Alice simply replies to Ashley over the radio. "Got it. We'll be there momentarily." Once the group is back together again, Alice says gently to Jason and the others, "OK, anyone who knows about this gang, let's fill in the others so we know what we're up against."
