Calvin nods as Alice explains that she'd rather drive. "Fair enough. It would've been the first time I carried an occupied vehicle in flight, anyway." He smiles. "Best to test it out on people I don't like, instead."
As she explains some of the situation with the girl they just found, Calvin's smile fades, his demeanor switching to all-business. "Are these Brethren someone we should be worrying about at present? Were they the men who were holding her? They didn't sound very organized."
Calvin thinks about what he might do if it were him in a cabin lit on fire by the Brethren, and he comes up short. I might just let loose... haven't done that yet. Haven't... killed... yet. His stomach is uneasy at the prospect of killing... of having to kill to save someone. He's prepared to do it if or when the time comes, but he'd rather it never come. In short order he regains his confidence.
"Whatever the case is, I'll do whatever it takes to make sure we get through this."

Completely oblivious to what's going on down below, Long slaps the cuffs on the guy and stands him up. They start heading towards the door to the roof to go downstairs.

Tom felt the heavy impact of the light pole slam off off his shoulder and knock him sideways, though his metallic form absorbed the brunt of the blow. As he focused and watched, a few small items flew away from Ragnarok, but nothing that seemed to get the larger man's attention. " I believe it is from spending too much time around you cocky Americans. You are a bad influence I will have to rectify." As Rags swung through the glancing blow, he countered by reversing direction with the base of the pole to batter Tom's chest.

Calvin and Alice were making decent time across the city, until they rounded a corner to find gridlock. At the end of the long stretch, they could see the flashing lights of two patrol cars and nothing beyond them as the two of them were soon boxed in by other cars. Traffic was being diverted, but it was slow and backing up fast than being turned.
A band-adio call then came from Trevor," Alice, looks like the police have most of the main streets blocked, but doesn't look like all the side streets and alleys are covered. Tom, almost there. I'll make sure I have Raggy's attention when we arrive, try to give you an opening."
Sierra looked at Sylwia, "Take Kristian to help Tom. I will keep Allison safe."
The man with Sierra nodded to Syl before speaking with a Jamaician accent. " Not to worry, I don't bite. I've got the directions right here." He held up a smart phone, then dropped it in his pocket.
The man winced as Long shackled him, but said nothing in defeat. However, as they stepped outside, it was clear that Gabe was losing control of the situation. "DA DEE!" the giant bellowed, and stared daggers at Long, " Let Da Dee go!" He demanded, and was clearly straining against Gabe's hold.
(note: It's come to my attention Ragna has some RL issues to attend to, and will return when he can)

Tom tried to deflect with the other parking meter, but is staggered by the blow as it pierces the other parking meter and hits him. Tom blinks. "My turn." Focusing, all the coins in the parking meters swarm for Ragnarok's eyes to blind him.
1d20+3 (strike, called shot to magnetically apply the coins to his eyes.)

Alice scowls when she sees the gridlock. 'Damn it!' she thinks to herself. "Thanks Trevor, I'll try to find a side street or an alley to shorten our arrival time." Alice turns to Calvin and asks him, "Do you think you'd be faster on foot? If you do, do you want to go on ahead? I'll try to find a place to park and will follow you."

Sylwia looks at the man named Kristian and says her next question, "Were parents extra religious to name you after what they practiced?" She says almost confused. "But know not time place or. No not right time or place. That sound better then before." She says shaking her head almost doing a spell check or grammar check. "You big, but carry you no problem if ready. We travel very fast!"

Calvin nods, hesitantly. "Probably a bit faster on foot, but I can also fly. So... yeah? But I am not sure where I'm going, exactly. New in town." He shrugs.
"My offer to carry you still stands, though. I haven't dropped anyone yet." he smiles. "I fly fast enough that no one'll see who we are."

This is definitely an 'Oh Shit!' moment for Long. "Copycat?! You got anything that will slow this guy down?"

Alice gives Calvin's idea some thought and then nods, "If we can get to a side street and out of the way of the general public, we might have to do that." Alice looks over at Calvin and adds, "But only if we can do it without drawing too much negative attention from the public."

Straining to keep the giant from hurting anyone, Gabe switches plans. Dropping the paralysis to focus fully on lifting the big man with telekinesis, Copy Cat hopes he doesn't have a long range attack before he says "Get the doctor to explain the situation to the big lug! He is fighting through what im doing to try and keep him still as it is!" Gabe puts his hand on his head to try to fight off the impending headache the situation and powers are giving him.
(ooc- sorry about my missed post, work has kept me busy for a bit. idk how much the big guy weighs, so if i can get a rough estimate to keep track of my ISP usage, that would be grea.)

Long looks at the man in his custody. "Come on, man. Call him off. We do not want this to get any worse. Just let him know that we are not hurting you and everything will be alright. I promise nothing will happen to either one of you." 1d100undefined attempt to charm with his good looks.

The pole slammed Tom's chest like a sledge, ( dmg 4d6+63 ) but Raganarok was not prepared for Tom's retaliation as he staggered back, dropping the pole and trying to shield his eyes with his hands against the coins as he back pedalled, sputtering," I did not ask for your two cents, boy." (dodge/shield eyes 1d20+5 )
In the distance, Tom could see something burning coming towards them at a rapid pace.
Traffic was nearing a stand still when Alice spotted an alley just up ahead. The problem was she was in the wrong lane to get to it.
Horns began to blare up ahead, and both Cal and Alice could see that frustrations were boiling over as one vehicle had bumped another and both driver's were now out and shouting at each other ahead in their lane. As vehicles began to move a bit, the cars between them and the accident were trying to merge into the other lanes. Meanwhile, the shouting match was getting ugly and both Cal and Alice could see a fight was not far off.
Kristian hesitated," I'm not that big! I don't think my parents are that religous, well, my mom maybe." He gave Sierra a glance, then back to Sylwia, "Fast sounds good to me. We need to go that way." He pointed back into the city
( Note: The giant weighs in at 750 lbs and in 8ft tall)
"You break into my home, accost and detain both me and Damien and you want me to help you?"
"Let Da Dee go!" The giant demanded, then suddenly seemed panicked as Gabe lifted him, "PUT DOWN! PUT DOWN!"
The older man sighed, " Fine, but I only do this because I don't want him hurt." He looked up at the giant," Damien, settle down and we will be okay. I am fine."
Damien did not look convinced, but he complied immediately.

Alice grits her teeth in frustration. 'Bloody hell! This is going to take forever!' Alice thinks to herself. Alice does her best to get into the right lane so she can get to the alley, doing her best to find a space, but still being careful so she doesn't get into a car accident. 'I wish Dmitri were still around so we could transport there' Alice thinks to herself.

Sylwia listens to the request and looks at the map to get the directions she needs. "OK we go fast then. Please hold you breath while fastering up happens." She says as she approaches and gives him a hug to get as good a grip as she can. Once she is sure he is secure she engages warp drive and heads up hoping he will tell her where they go.

Calvin sighs audibly at the traffic. This is killing me... I am so not used to things taking this long when I'm in Paladin-form... He sees Alice is getting frustrated, and tries to lighten the tone.
"Heard any good jokes lately? I have one. Why does a traffic light turn red? If you had to change in front of everyone, you'd turn red too." He smiles, sheepishly.
