Sorry I've been off line quite a bit. My heat has been off for four days - several trips by three different technicians who described the situation as "rare" and "complicated" as if they were discussing a grave disease (they also kindly pointed out that my boiler is getting up there in years and they are shocked it has functioned this long).
All I can say is home warranties are awesome - especially when you get the seller to pay for them. But despite only paying $100 for what must have been hundreds dollars of work - it has been a hassle.
And now I'm packing for France - more on that later.

Leaving for France. Until March 24th. Sometimes I will have internet and sometimes I won't. I think I posted a couple of times last year while there, but don't wait for me.
While I'm gone, you can ponder this info I got from the "Atlas"
FRANCE
One Nation Above God.
France is home to the world's entire population of 62.7 million people, every single one of the world's 427 cities, and all of its history, culture and beauty. France is the only country in the world. Center of the universe. Birthplace of art, music, aviation, coffee, the American Revolution. Every great thing ever.

Been dragging my feet on this part, trying to frame it right. Should be able to pick up the pace.

While there is still plenty battle left in the mission at hand, I am pondering a couple new ideas. Idea #1: The Three Demons. This adventure involves finding, recruiting, training and equipping a team of three pilots to save the world. I plan to run the training part as a "training montage" - more on that later, so the principal parts of the mission would be: finding the pilots, and also training & support, though there could be a couple side missions. This would be an Omega Shield mission, and would be led by Tiger. Her father wouldn't enter into the plot, as he doesn't believe opposing the three demons is worthwhile. A good deal of the world will be wrecked in this one, it won't be one of those James Bond style missions where you save the world and no one knows about it. A word on power levels: the point of this mission will be to find powerful pilots, but there is no real advantage in "being" powerful. Much of this mission will involve thinking, training, and character development. There will be a couple opportunities to cut lose, and much of the training will be combat oriented, but this isn't a mission for a Rogue or Superman type character. Idea #2: Trans-dimensional Time Traveling. This adventure would draw elements from Rifts the system, but definitely not taking place on Rifts Earth. (Rifts Earth is my least favorite planet - I'll send you the rant if you want). Essentially, the characters would be focused on justice/revenge and pursuing a criminal across worlds and time. Since this could involve anything from the Jurassic, to the Matrix, to Krypton, I'd recommend this for characters with somewhat "universal" abilities.... The spell 'tongues', tele-mechanics, - the sorts of things that could be useful on a thousand worlds. Specialized characters might be funny to laugh at, but probably won't be fun to play. Time travel powers are optional, its not like they will work in every situation anyway A word on power levels: this mission the characters should probably be fairly powerful in their own right, or exceptionally well designed. There will be lots of encounters with cunning, challenging enemies in a variety of settings and even the most powerful characters will be out of their element at times.

Jeckle is correct, the unicorn can carry two, and the best strategy is for Dante to ride behind her and call his creature after they fly over the enemy.
Khamai and Pantera will still have to travel along the ground, but the rest can fly...
