Dante says little dressed in black, and his combat boots, covered by a full length leather trench coat. His duffel holding a change of clothes and his broad sword. Once again he brings no guns since he doesn't use them at all. He says nothing to the others during their discussion and simply gets on the plane. He seems to be in a bad mood and gives everyone the silent treatment.

* Jeckle finally moves enough to buckle up and then the hands shake majorly until they're shoved into her pockets and the eyes remain closed.
* she whispers things to herself just now. if anyone listens, its a formula of sorts. broken down into its base elements helps to keep her calm as she thinks of one item and then another and how it works and put together.
* its not a lot, but it keeps her calm for these plane trips. not really happy in the air, she just bides her time until she can get off again. sweat forms on the forehead and upper lip and she continues and pauses as hte engine rumbles to life .

Khris relaxed, listening to something different for him, the rapid guitar riffs of Metallica's One. Despite his complaints, he had flown on so many planes that this didn't bother him. He pulled out on of his plugs," Hey bosskitty, you can blend in, but how exactly are the rest of us gonna pass for Chinese? My accent donna sound even close to mandarin to me." He smirked. If nothing else, he was trying to break the tension that seemed to be growing on the plane.

"The Chinese hire mercenaries, just like everyone else. You'll all be mercs working under my direction. Since our cover will be a secret mission on the island, it will actually make more sense for me to bring mercenaries. If it was something ordinary troops could do then it would be odd for me not to just use the troops already present." She smiles, "What do you want to learn in Chinese? Nihao?"
Once everyone arrives, including Ionic, Tiger double checks all the stowed cargo to make sure it is strapped down and won't rattle.
Then she instructs Strongbow to take off and watches the new pilot carefully to evaluate her degree of skill.

" Not much of a stretch." Khris deadpanned. " We are mercs, aren't we?" He looked at all the stores aboard the plane. " So is my order in here somewheres, or is it going to meet us in China?"

*Jeckle finally seems to look about. her eyes are telling some kind of story, but what it is, isn't really known just now. she looks at the floor for another minute, while the case of nerves at leaving earth runs its course.
*she then takes a deep breath and then slowly exhales. watching Khris, she wonders if she'll ever be comfortable to have someone else 'in the driver's seat' flying is something she never wanted to learn. it involved fast speeds. bad enough surviving a high speed accident as a child, but planes go ever so much faster that cars do. an 'accident' in a plane usually means its a sudden stop against a hard object, and not many survive that.
*instead, she pulls out one of her pads and starts on the base schematic for a remote 'dragonfly'. she really wishes at times that 'micro-circuitry' had been available. but since it wasn't, all she can do is make the circuits she does know, smaller and less obvious.
*she continues and basically ignores the others now as she works. if Khris tries to take the pad away from her, she will react. by sinking her teeth into his arm and NOT letting go.

Khris turned his attention to Ionic and Cerebrum. " Whatever's eating you, let it go before it tears you apart." He shifted his focus, " Hey, new guy... Ionic, right? How focused is this electrical power of yours? could you, say, zap a shape charge from a distace so I wouldn't need a detonator?"

*she has the drawings settled for now and finally puts the pad away and then the pen she was using. she's more relaxed now, but she knows that things will be better now there is just wind and motors holding them up. not a lot, but she really would prefer the ground and it NOT moving unless in a vehicle. she's figured out to survive car crashes if and when they're needed, but knows she'll be basically dead if the plane suddenly died and feel to earth.
*she takes out a baggie with Lucky Charms cereal and start nibbling. the sugar going to the nerves and the actual shaking she was going thru fades away. she's not an addict, just sugar dependent when the going gets rough for her. its a form of comfort food and it works for her.

Dante looks at Khris, "I'll be fine. Still recouping from the last mission is all. That city and psychics don't work well together." He leans forward and whispers, "and besides man, you can't be sitting here and thinking everything is all rosy after what we just went through. Half our team decided they were done with us, and here we are trying to find an item and give it to her demon father," he indicates Tiger with a movement of his head, "an item that must be pretty powerful if he wants it."

Khris merely looked at Dante. " Any mission where you walk away and don't bury any friends is a good one. " Besides, none of us get to decide what jobs we do, so if omega says to find this thing, we do it. The others are lucky, Omega used to mind wipe anyone who wanted out back in the early days." Khris sounded like an old man as he talked even though he is only a few years older. Instead it was just the experience of too many missions starting to come through.

Tiger leaves Strongbow to fly the plane up front and walks back into the cabin. "Your order is here." She says to Shroud. "I had it packed, but after your comments about explosives and your question for Ionic, I think it will be safer if we leave everything packed until we land."
She doesn't dispute Dante's concerns, probably because she didn't hear him. She leans against the wall of the plane, standing and thinking for a moment.

"You know," Tiger muses, "I don't think I've ever done that. Thats the high altitude low opening right? You only get to use that into hostile territory, otherwise a normal person would open higher." She sounds like she is talking about something fun she has never been able to try.

Khris knew the look on Tiger' face. " It has it's other uses, like sneaking into a country unnoticed, but it's not something you do on a whim like on a date or something." He winked with a smirk.
