Seeing the sign,Khris reaches in his pocket and pulls out the change in his pocket and tosses it in the can next to the sign with a clang. " Should get you at least a couple cups of coffee," he said as they walked past.

*Jeckle just moves past, while turning her head slightly. she knows that there is little she can do for the gent, but really hopes that he he'll have little pain when its time to die. a tear forms at the corner of the eye, and then decides that since Khris did something it would be alright to do something as well.

*she rolls the orange she had slid away into a pocket across the ground to settle at his feet. its not much, but its all she can think of sharing with him for now.

The homeless man mutters in his sleep when Shroud's coins land, but his breathing has returned to the regular rhythm of sleep by the time Jeckle gives him the orange.

Tiger watches the gifts thoughtfully. She reaches into a pocket and crumples up a fifty dollar bill and tosses it to the man.

She looks around, carefully watching for threats.

*Jeckle just shrugs and knows that fresh fruit is most likely ard to get here, so that might be a godsend .. if he manages to hold onto it. she can hope so, but now her concern is on the task at hand

Dante senses that the transient man is about to attack, the man fills with rage.

* Jeckle continues moving along with the others. uneasy because she's on foot instead of inside her truck overseeing the next stage of the armour she was ready to make

* whe'll be caught flat-footed, as she has no ability to warn herself of immediat danger active now.

Dante yells out, "Everyone lookout," as he moves to put himself between the unaware group and the old man.

*Jeckle looks up and then about as Dante yells and moves*

*by the time her mind has caught up to the words and actions, she's raised her weapon towards anything that moves, and holds her fire.

*a part of her wonders if they should have gone past one by one instead of a group.

The man lunges straight for Dante after waving his arms at Wind Chill and Patriot a little.

Tiger draws and shoots before the first word of warning is out of Dante's mouth. She shoots in the head and the hand. The armor piercing high explosive round that hits him in the head leaves nothing but a smudge on his forehead. The round that hits his hand travels clean through his hand and arm as if they were smoke, doing no damage, before blasting apart a piece of the tunnel wall.

"Run," Tiger says with calm determination, whirling to stand beside Dante, "Everyone get clear immediately." Her voice is controlled, but her tone is urgent. Her brow is furrowed in concentration as she tries to remember a power or a combination of powers that could behave like this.

*Jeckle takes one look and then jumps out of the area and towards the far side of the tunnel.

*she seems to have floated over the ones in front of her, but the truth of hte matter is she engaged the exo-skeleton to hop and tucked and twisted up to clear the others and get clear of the whole area.

*first out the tunnel, her weapon in had is the Taser which she aims hither and yon as if its a big powerful weapon. standing up she moves out of the way so the others can exit. she's at a loss as to what to do currently.

With revolvers in hand, Khris began backing away from their attacker and towards Jeckle. " Wind Chill, prehaps you could help cool the situation out a bit so we can move along?" He suggested.

Tiger calmly puts her revolvers back in their holsters, since they had no effect. "Got any ideas?" She asks Dante. She watches the crazed man lunge haphazardly forward towards them.

Miranda nods at Shroud, and attempts to encase the man in ice up to his waist, so he can't move closer to attack them. (strike: 17+1=18) (six inches thick, ar of 10 and 60 sdc)

Wind Chill's ice works perfectly, the man can't move - at first. He roars and babbles incoherently, flailing his arms. Then, one foot moves within the ice. His knee starts to move as well. The ice doesn't give, it doesn't move at all, his leg just starts to move through the ice as if it were made of air.

He frees one leg from the encased ice. He pushes at the ice with his arms, but his arms slide right through the ice at his waist as if it weren't there. For some reason, he seems to have much more trouble with the one leg still encased in ice. Sometimes he moves his foot or his knee, but he seems to have trouble putting it all together at the moment.

Tiger backs away and motions for the rest of the team to put some distance between themselves and the man.

*Jeckle moves out of the area, her mind still tracking the path the radioactive dust made on the tracker.

*she hopes that the journey wont take too much longer, because other than a couple of these people, most of them seem to think of her as a pain and a liability. without trying to, her mind shifts slightly to her last project still in the blueprint stage.

..o0(what i wouldn't give to be working in the lab right now. i wonder if i use selinium in the formula. would that add to the overall protectiveness of the armour?)
