Dante manages to get the wolf to fall, and he tumbles down through the flames past Shroud, Tiger and their opponent. Tiger doesn't seem very surprised.
[Wind Chill]
Patriot grunts. He is a little winded from the blast. "I'll let you know when I come up with something." He hurls his disc at the wolf again. The wolf ducks the disc, and doesn't jump off the building. He slashes at Wind Chill and tries to get close so he can grab her.
[Charger]
"I would guess they have been assigned to stop us," the Captain replies. "Seem pretty determined too. I'm thinking we'll toss all of them down the shaft and then pick up the trail before they climb back up. We'll be up shortly, only one or two more in our way." Tiger turns her attention back to Shroud facing the wolf.
On the roof, Charger can see that there are four heli pads in the big open space. He can also see the fire Wind Chill started when she blasted the wolf, as the incendiaries burn through the roof at the corner of one heli pad. There is a large, closed hanger door in a connected building - which rises at least 15 more stories higher than the roof they are on.

Cerebrum sits back against a wall after knocking his opponent down. The repeated use of his psionic abilities starting to show the toll they have on him.
He tosses the empty shotgun down the shaft then grabs his radio, "Cerebrum here, my opponent is down...down the shaft to be precise."
"Jeckle how are you holding up?"
"I will probably need a ride when someone gets a chance."

* Jeckle shudders with her fear and then swallows and sniffs once before using the radio to contact the others.
'some guy in red and black got me up. i'm fine .. i'm just happy no one else is dead .... '
*she looks aobut now and tries to figure out where hte car would have one now, and knows the ONLY way she'll know for sure is when she can look down the shaft and then get herself realigned.

Miranda sighs to herself as she thinks 'I'm sure I'm going to regret this' As the were slashes at her, she tries to disarm him (disarm: 18) of the knife to use against him. (strike: 13+1=14)

[Wind Chill]
The werewolf stares in shock as he is stabbed by his own knife. Unlike explosives and bullets, the knife cuts him deeply and he watches his blood trickle out with a dumb look on his muzzle.
Holding the knife is eerie, like handling a dead body, and the feeling when it cuts through the hide of the wolf is unnatural.
Still, the werewolf jumps back. Patriot nails him with his disc shield and sends him close to the edge of the building. The werewolf casts his eyes at Patriot and the new arrivals on the roof, Charger and Jeckle. The werewolf jumps off the roof, falling two dozen stories to the ground below. After only a few seconds, he gets back up and limps away, still holding the spot where Wind Chill stabbed him.

Charger watches the wolf holding himself. "Well, I'll be a wallaby's uncle... and an idiot for saying that. You stay here." He says to jeckle. "I'm gonna get your friend up here." With that he heads back down to Dante, making sure a gravity plane is in place.
"Hey, Forcefield." He calls down. "You coming? Wall's ready."

Miranda can't hide her surprise at the fact that her idea had actually worked. She had fully expected to have gotten nearly eviscerated by the werewolf, and was very glad it hadn't managed to. Staring down at the knife, she wonders why it feels unnatural, and decides to keep it for now since it seems to be the only thing that was effective against them. She then looks around to see if anyone else on the team needs help, and moves to help them if that is the case.

Dante gets up off the floor and heads towards Charger, "the name's Cerebrum 'Gravity man'," he says as he approaches.
"Thanks for getting her out, she seemed pretty freaked by the flames. Are the fires out? I really shouldn't be making any more forcefields for a while, so if the flames are still going, I'll just wait here."

Tiger addresses the team over the comm, "Everyone, you may have met Charger. Introduce yourselves if you're clear of the fighting. I hired him right before we were attacked. He served with me in Australia. A good man to have with you in a fight. I'll take care of the formal intro later." O.O.C.: The fires last about two minutes, so they should be out by the time Charger gets back down to Dante. I'm still playing through the fight between Shroud and his wolf. Once that is finished Tiger will ask Charger to help Shroud up as well - unless he'd rather ride Patriot's back  So try to hold off going back to the roof until the other fight plays out. There was one more wolf somewhere above Dante, so you can work on him if you can't think of anything to talk about... |

* Jeckle holds onto her coat like a lifeline .. eyes still shaking as she looks about wildly. she eases back from the opening and shudders more as she hears the flames roaring in the shaft and barely stops from wailing her fear.
*her fear of the fire is one she hasn't outgrown yet. her reaction to it was not one she thought she'ld have to face again. her shaking hands show how hard it is to stay this close and not run blindly away

"Ooh! Gravity Man. I like that one." Charger replies, smirking. Though, I guess one wouldn't know for the the mask. "But, before I hire you as my press agent, whatsay we go, hmm?" With that, Charger will lead Dante up the shaft, catching up with Tiger as well, if she's not too busy.

Tiger, seeing the wolf about to shove Shroud, leaps the distance across the shaft. She trips the wolf, sending him up and over Shroud, but the wolf doesn't fall. He lands on the edge, managing to hold on with one hand and one foot while the rest of him dangles over the ledge.

Even as Tiger came to the rescue, the wolf glanced Khris just enough to catch him off balance and knock him from his feet. Lying there, he looked at the wolf hanging over the edge. Without thinking twice, his foot shot out at the wolf's jaw. Despite the situation, he couldn't hold his tongue, as he looked up at Tiger. " My hero. " He looked back at the wolfman, " Baddd doggie, you have to sleep outside tonight," And he kept kicking, trying to knock his grip free.
