Alice nods at Jason and tells him, "I want to make sure Avi is ok first and that the bug has been properly deactivated, then I'll head down to the war room so we can begin the briefing."

While Alice stayed behind to supervise Tom and Avi, everyone else except Kristian met in the war room and Long gave his side of the briefing. Jason spoke up as he finished, " Let me get this straight, he walked bodies out? are we talking healing them like Avi can from dead or near dead, or more like something out of a bad horror movie? Either way, sounds like we need to meet this guy."
Normally quiet, Sierra spoke up from the back of the room," Is that the same guy Kristian and I went to see a while back at the hospital?"
Jason nodded," It would be. Why?"
"Just there was something weird about him. He set off my meta sensing powers really odd, and there was something else down there that followed us to the elevator I could feel, but the elevator closed and we were out of there before we saw what it was. Really creepy there though."

Once they were alone, Avi nodded and then Tom could feel the bullet moving to him as he drew it out. avi made no sound, but his other hand clamped on Tom.s shoulder tightly. then with a sickening sound, Tom extracted the strange bullet. avi sunk down to sit on the floor and said through gritted teeth,"Always hurt more coming out than going in."
In Tom's hand, blood stained but recognizable, was the strangest bullet either he or Alice had ever seen. It looked like a normal bullet, except it had a clear tip with tiny electronic components inside.

Deci tries to figure out why Beth had not responded to her or has grown incredibly quiet but continues to stare at pictures.

"It is unclear whether the examiner revived them or not. The assistant said that he would 'make the bodies get up and walk'. I am not sure how much this Dr. Raymar will be able to help. Apparently, after an argument with Homicide he went bonkers."

"We don't know if this doctor has an ability or not." Sara said, finally speaking up. "I know operations like this, they are design to abduct people for whatever goal the agent has in mind. Sometimes to take them in for questioning or to put them to work on a special project. Whatever the reason, they want these people alive."
She listen to Sierra as she explains what happen previous, "Or this doctor is seriously into voodoo and reanimating the dead."
Sara shakes her head as her explanation goes poof for the time being. If something creepy was going on it probably had further implications then even she understood.

"Tom, can you disable the wiring so it can't transmit? I'd like to have a closer look at it. Definitely a custom job coming up with something like that." Avi said, sitting on the floor and concentrating on healing. "Alice, it might lead us to whoever ambushed us."
in the breifing room, a glance at Beth told deci why she hadn't responded. she was focused on one picture, one she had snapped of the two FBI agents. Her expression was not a happy one
Jason piped up, "Sorry, but if he is playing around with bodies, the doc was already a nutjob." He looked at Sara, " Voodoo? Seriously? I've seen some.., hell, we are some weird stuff, but Voodoo?"

"Is something wrong with that picture and those FBI men. I mean I took it so we could verify they were who they were mainly because as of late I have learned not really to trust anyone in a way. If that makes sense I mean." She says as she tries to figure out what it is that Beth sees.

"Trust me Jason, there's a lot more to this world then people with super powers." Sara said. "Remind me to tell the story when I was with a group of soldiers at an observation point and had to fight a jinn.

Tom nods at Avi's suggestion. "I'll do my best, let me mess around with the E-M fields - let me know if it's working." Tom proceeds to generate a field around the remains of the bullet.

Sio nods to Sara, offering a sympathetic look. "Will it heal ok?" she inquires, uncertain given Sara's apparent nature. At the question, the speedster lets out a little snort. "Eventful. Found a few things at the crime scene, had a run in with the Feds and then fired on by snipers.." she trails off as Tom begins to work his magic, watching nervously.

"The Feds? What department?" First SCRET and now someone else was getting in on the action. Seems alot of groups wanted to participate in playing down in Miami all of a sudden.

Beth shook her head far too quickly, " Crossland and Davies? They are FBI all right. My ex and his partner too."
"A jinn? As in lives in a lamp? Okay, that calls for too many comments." Jason smirked. When Sio answered for him, he nodded to confirm her answer," That's about it. The one key thing was somebody used a fire shelter inside for protection and then escaped after th fire was out. That is possibly how they got the body out. Without Deci's overhead shots, we would have missed it. That , and a second helicopter has been out there." He looked back to Sara," FBI hit us up for info because the locals are stonewalling them. They know something is going on, but no real details."

As Alice watched, Tom could feel the wiring inside the tracking round being manipulated until he felt the slight pop of one of the tiny copper leads. Avi slowly got to his feet and said," All right, I have it under control. Going to head to medical." He was a mess from the initial shot and then impromptu surgery.
