She smiles at Roga and leans forward in her seat, "The thing we are most interested in is information: current events, 'celebrities', and also other good sources of information." She leaves her request open ended, hoping not to lead Roga into a predictable answer. And she leaves unsaid the nature of their mission. She looks around casually wondering when her order will arrive.

"Patriot? The government show-dog Patriot? You've got to tell me how you got mixed up with these guys," Roga says to Dante.
Giving a nod to Tiger, Roga sits back as the waitress delivers the drink orders and indicates the food would be a few more minutes.
Leaning forward once the waitress is out of earshot, he says, "If you hadn't noticed, you're in Century Station. There's always something happening and I don't mean the high school play or the next big game either. Which organization are you interested in? S.H.O.C.K. perhaps? Or the Mutant Undergroud? Maybe you're after bigger fish, like Hitters, Inc., or the Triad or the Goodfellas. Let me know which celeb in particular you're looking for or we could be sitting here awhile. I deal with almost all of them and the ones I don't really don't need my particular services, like Juju Macoute," Roga says with a shudder. "Those guys just down-right scare the crap out of me."

*glances about briefly with her own eyes .. makes a verbal memo of what time and what shesees on the various scanners .. a her own mind records the various machines to do a more detailed report. then back to watching after checking the far end of hte alley, in case

Dante observes the conversation he takes a moment to reach out with his mind telepathicly to Roga who wound not be caught off guard by it since Dante had done this to him before.
Into Roga's mind, "Sorry bud, I work with them for now so have to play things there way. They are on the up and up bro. You can trust them."

I figured or else you would've tipped me as soon as you entered. It hasn't been that long, Roga adds. Dante could almost feel the smile in his words.
"Alpha Prime and the rest of Centurions, you mean? Well, I know the disappearance of Alpha Prime has a lot of people concerned, others excited. A lot of people in this city blame her for everything that's happened. I wonder myself why that alien decided to stay here when almost everyone hates her. It takes courage, but courage alone will get you killed. You have to be streetsmart to survive. The Centurions always say she did what was required of her, but that only goes so far, ya know. As to the why and where. No one knows. There's rumors, of course, but nothing that can be verified. Most of those you can get from the newspapers and t.v. The one you won't get from the media is that Alpha Prime left Earth to get help for a major threat. What that could be, I don't know. Anyone that powerful should be able to handle any threat. And with the help of the Centurions, none the less. If that rumor is true, then the Earth is in deep ya-know-what. Personally, I think she was probably recalled and didn't feel the need to tell anyone. Alpha Prime has always done her own thing as far as I can tell. That's about all I know, except the hundreds of rumors that is. Anyone else you care to know about?"

Khris yawned and checked his watch again. Time always seemed to come to a standstill when he had to wait. Just out of amusement, mainly to kill some time, he adjusted the new scope Jeckle had given him and set it for infared targeting. with a few adjustments, he tightened the beam before aiming in the direction of Jeckle and Magician's hiding spot. He moved what he thought was a red dot around on the wall a few times before turning it off the red heart shape the beam produced. " Great, kid's got a bloody sense of humor. hopefully I spooked her a bit." He sputtered as he watched for a response through his scope.

*Jeckle is looking to be totally lost in thought as the .. 'dot' shows itself on the wall and then vanishes. she reacts with alarming speed. she vanishes with a dive out of view. with her back now pressed against the protective wall, she pauses and then the face grows dark as she curses a mental blue streak. HER trick backfired 'well it shows he cares enough to test it ... jeez ... '

Taking a moment to think about the question, Roga finally says, "Well, the Centurions are really the only official meta team in the city. They can go just about anywhere. The one place they can't go is the Labyrinth. It's not because they aren't authorized. It's because they can't. No one can. Just walking towards the area will get you shot. Snipers line the streets keeping people out. There's no law in the Labyrinth. That's probably why the Minotaur supposedly set up shop there. But, I'm starting to get the impression that you aren't here investigating the Centurions. Am I right?"

*while her mind starts to turn over 'retaliation' plans, she is aware of one small detail. eyes work betterthan machines any day. then slips out her phone and looks at it before texting a brief message to Shroud "ha, *censor*, ha"
*slips the phone away after checking to see the 'locaton' of its answer, and then checks a few things, and wonders IF she should do a ricochet 'line up'. Heckle told her about how hi had bounced a sight beam off a window to lure someone out of hiding. ...o0( simple dynamics, simple mathematics and angles. now should i? .. no, HE wont find it funny )

She grins while Roga is talking about the Labyrinth. In response to Roga's question, she smiles, "I wouldn't waste your time with questions I wasn't interested in. I think our discussion has been extremely relevant so far."
She leans forward and continues, "You mentioned that Alpha Prime tends to do as she sees fit. Would she have steered clear of the Labyrinth if she had a good reason to go inside?" The question was somewhat rhetorical, nothing they had heard of Alpha Prime suggested that she would back down.
She settles back and thinks for a second, "Snipers need food, weapons and ammunition. Someone must be able to get in- probably someone you know or have heard of..."
