20. En Route to Saturn

[dakota]

McKenna just glanced at Flip as she watched the monitor from the ultrasound, her mind locked into professional mode. "Hello Flip. Something I can help you with?" Only then did it occur to her that she was undressed from the waist up and facing him. She blushed slightly, but it was too late to be bashful.

[Dome]

It took Flip a second to walk close enough to realize MJ was undressed. As soon as he does, he turns his back, "woh, uh... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to just walk in and interrupt something. I guess I can talk with you two later. I'm really sorry," he says over his shoulder and makes to leave.

[Mierin]

Continuing to examine McKenna's injured shoulder, Jessica looks over and says, "Hey Foreman." She smirks a little at Foreman's reaction and asks McKenna, "Is there a lot we can do for this? Muscle cream?"

[dakota]

"Relax Flip, it's not like you haven't seen breasts before, and they aren't much to look at." McKenna said, then teased a bit, "Now if Jess would take off her shirt ..." she couldn't help smile as she fought to slip back into her shirt. " Seriously Flip, was there something you wanted?"

She turned to Jess,, and shook her head no, " Just ice and rest works best, and the odd pain killer if I do something stupid."

[Dome]

Flip says, "I just didn't want to embarrass you by seeing something you didn't want me too. Also, I just want to point out, your both beautiful women, and the view would be amazing either way...Uh... not that I ... well... never mind," he says obviously flustered.

With his back still turned he says, "you ok? Mensk mentioned a racquet ball incident," obvious concern in his voice, "Oh you guys know what he lost in the cargo bay? He said he needed peanut butter and crackers to find it."

After a pause he says, "that boy is odd sometimes. Anyway I actually wanted to talk with the both of you..." he says.

[Mierin]

Jessica's smirk grows as Foreman stammers and she wonders what MJ saw in him. As she puts the equipment away, Jess says, "About what?"

[Dome]

"I made a suggestion that maybe we should schedule a regular movie night or something so the whole crew can get together over something besides soup. I figure its going to be a long flight and we may get bored so this way we can get together and watch a few movies and hang out all of us together. Well that was my suggestion, and making the suggestion earned me the new title of activity director, so I wanted to run the idea past you two," Flip says still standing with his back to the ladies.

"I figured we could each take turns picking a video or something like that. Right now I asked Mensk to grab a few titles and we can pick one for tonight. The Captain suggested using the screen in his quarters."

[dakota]

"Oh Flip, quit the bashfulness." McKenna said, standing up once her shirt was on. "Jess was checking to make sure nothing was broke where the racquetball got me when I freaked over a rat in the hold. Mensk is supposed to be getting rid of it. I'm sore, but it will be okay." She turned to Jessica and smiled, " Thanks for the help. I think a movie night sounds like fun."

[Dome]

Flip shakes his head and turns back around, "not bashful, respectful."

He pauses and then says, "so movie night tonight in the captain's quarters. If you have a movie you want to see bring it and we can all decide, make a list or something one for tonight, one for tomorrow and so on. Glad your OK MJ. Sorry for interrupting ladies," he says before turning back around and walking out of med bay. For some reason the whole conversation seemed to rub him the wrong way and he felt like he was intruding.

Megnsk did have a few gems he rarely brought out. and they'd be good..for some anyway..

As Flip left, McKenna was a bit confused by his reaction. "I swear I will never figure that guy out." She stood up and rotated the sore shoulder slowly. With a slight groan, she stopped pushing it and intentionally stood in Jessica's way. "I meant what I said though. Thank you." She drew in close and kissed her.

Across the ship

"Stephens," came a grumpy-sounding general announcement from Tawfeek. "What the hell was going on in my cargo hold?"

OOC: I'm not going to fuss about the movies. Pick titles as you want, but do choose real ones (and include a text synopsis link from wiki or IMDB, as opposed to Youtube; it's easier to access that way). If we want to futurify them, we'll just make up new actors so that it's more the hundred or so years in the future.

Before Foreman leaves, Jessica nods and says, "That sounds like it could be a good way to unwind." Jess grins and adds, "Too bad we don't have popcorn."

After Foreman leaves, Jess is a little surprised by the kiss but returns it with a smile. "No problem. I'm glad I could help." She smirks at Tawfeek's voice and replies over the comm "There was a bit of a rodent issue which Mensk was taking care of. The doctor suffered a minor injury so she asked me to help run the diagnostic equipment to determine the extent of her injury."

Once in engineering he was putting the movies in an easy to transfer format..he sent them to Flip. Putting the ones he had immediately in mind an not putting the movie Zombie Strippers in there..he did put "Shawn of the dead" in as it was a pretty decent Zombie-comedy.

"Foreman, those movies you wanted you have them in your system mail. Should be something you can use.." Mengsk radioed. then looked over the his maintenance schedule..and considered what parts were trade able.

"Nothing that won't heal out fairly quickly, Captain. " McKenna added.
